Part 10
Is it just me, or are the weekends too short? I could use another day or two :).
But, since that's not possible, I'll do my best to have a good day (although it's dark and rainy outside and I'm in no mood to leave my pleasantly warm room).

Regardless of all that, I am still regularly translating parts of my story for you, so here is the last part of the second section of Chapter I:

Chapter I /Section 2/ (Part 10)

In general joy, music and voices, Jelil seemed to hear the sound of an aircraft. Only after he came to Zibia he had the opportunity to meet such sounds, since flying over Adem was disabled, but he was certain about what he heard. He turned in the direction of the sound and petrified in a second. There was no doubt. A sign of a lightning on an aircraft, as well as its dark blue color, were more then recognizable: Ilderins. His thoughts flew at an enormous speed.
What are they doing here? It is not possible that they decided to attack Zibia? What would they do that for?
The next thought came like a shock.
What if I brought them here? Perhaps they have learned that someone from my continent lived here? But, what kind of danger would I alone present to them? Perhaps they believe that I could involve Zibians in our conflict, that I could ask them for help?
He abruptly stopped that direction of thoughts.
I am probably overreacting. They may not even know that I am here and are coming with friendly attentions.
Whatever they attentions were, one thing was clear to Jelil in every case: he must not be seen. He looked around quickly, searching for any kind of shelter. Then he noticed several Ilderins coming closer to the crowd. They were carrying weapons. That still didn't have to mean that they had an intention of using it, but it disturbed him. He quickly retreated deeper into the crowd trying to get lost in it.
Zibians noticed the incoming of the newcomers and a mayor approached them with a smile to welcome them and ask them what he could do for them. Ilderins didn't speak Zibian, but they made it clear that they are looking for an Adem of whom they knew he lived with them. In the meantime townspeople noticed that Jelil was not in the mood to meet these people. Since, in some way, he already became a member of their community, everything was clear to them: they will respect his wishes and won't let the newcomers reach him. The mayor tried to explain to the Ilderins' soldiers, in the friendly manner, that the man they are looking for does not want to speak to them. Although they didn't understand him, Ilderins understood that these people had no attention to give them the person they came for. Therefore they threatened with their arms, and more of them came out of the aircrafts that landed in the meantime. The aircrafts were placed surrounding the crowd, and its artillery was pointed at them threateningly.
Jelil decided not to wait and see what Ilderins indent to do. He judged that it would be most convenient to break out of the encirclement to the north, where there were some low bushes he could use as a temporary cover to reach the cave in which the professor studied blackies. He could somehow manage to climb to the upper shaft to the wood's edge, and in the woods he would already be safer. If Ilderins came only for him, they will follow him and not hurt the people of Morning Village. As he decided, so he did. In a moment of carelessness of one of the Ilderins' soldiers on that side, he rushed from the crowd, grabbed his weapon, fired towards the other soldiers and jumped into the bushes. Not stopping for even a moment to check the reaction of Ilderins, he hurried into the cave. Months of training paid of. He had no problem climbing to the shaft and disappearing among the trees in the forest. He didn't go far. He wanted to know what Ilderins will do, so he quickly found a convenient cover from where he could take a glance at the field.
Ilderins quickly organized themselves after a first moment of surprise and soldiers were already sent all around to find and stop him. Jelil was relieved to see that the townspeople remained unharmed. Quite roughly, Ilderins’ soldiers forced them back to their houses, but they killed no one. Now he could peacefully concentrate to his own situation. It was not good. There were many Ilderins’ soldiers and they have spread all around. They certainly won't need too much time to find him. He checked his weapon. He met with another surprise: it was sent to stun.
Is it possible that they want to capture me alive!? But, why!?
He had no time to ponder. Dead or alive, he didn’t want to get into the hands of Ilderins. Therefore, he decided to follow their movements carefully and change covers. As one of Ilderins went by, he couldn’t help glancing at his weapon. Like the one he took from one of them before, it was not set to kill him. The other soldier held something that wasn’t a weapon.
      Seeker! They brought seekers too!
He quickly changed his cover and crawled into a trench. Seeker’s signals will reach him with more difficulty here. However, the fact that they brought seekers too, lowered his chances to avoid capture. He had to think of something quickly. Squeaky sound warned him that he was already discovered. He jumped quickly, keeping his weapon ready, shot one of Ilderins and started running away. However, he was not the only one that heard the seeker’s sound. Ilderins came quickly running and shooting at him and he felt he was hit. The feeling was completely different then the one that he felt before, when he was hurt at the time Evening Light fell. He felt pleasant warmth spreading through his body...
