6 FUCKING AWARDS! DAMN YOU, NAMPA! GO DISAPPEAR INTO YOUR PUFF OF SMOKE!
grrr >.< GO STEAL BACK THE 1ST PLACE AWARDS THAT MY SCHOOL RIGHTFULLY DESERVES! like the first place award for overall! that thing was as tall as Miroku! And he HAS to be more than 6 feet! IT'S OURS, I TELL YOU! OURS!
okay, so now that y'all know what fucking Nampa got...they had to invent a 4th place just for us in GE. i knew something was up the moment they said, "in 5A division, 4th place..." i was like, "shit no." and that was our only award all night. and Nampa can't even march, man! they just...walk! they just won cause they had swords and a smoke machine. i mean, sure i can see why the swords worked, but c'mon! what does a smoke machine have to do with marching? or lack-there-of!?
not like i'm one to complain about marching. i went and nearly tripped over Stephanie. i felt so bad that i stepped on her, but i felt bad that i also probably just cost us a lot if the marching judge on the field saw that. and when we both got off the field we both apologized to each other. she apologized cause she thought she was taking bigger steps so i can get away from Maribeth, who's trying to get away from Jessalyn, cause we all have to move quickly to get out of other people's way. and i apologized cause i just plain stepped on her. not like the judges upstairs were looking at marching. they were just there to watch, basically.
but yeah, we had two judges down on the field. one for music and the other for marching. but it drove a lot of us CRAZY! because they actually CAME ONTO THE FIELD to watch us! i mean, like, WHILE WE WERE MARCHING! i hoped someone would eventually run over them. no one did -.- damn.
but other than that, i got to spend the whole night with Miroku! ^^ i got to sit with him on the bus ride over and he wrapped his arms around me and held me the whole way there. until we parked and i had to go put my instrument together and he wouldn't let me go -.- i finally convinced him to let me go and he did. so then we went and warmed up, marched, and put our stuff away and then we sat together to watch Nampa and BSU perform. we enjoyed BSU's performance. because they may be a marching band, but they're also a performance band. so they had their sousaphones all dancing around when they came onto the field and then they were doing the wave with them. and then they got into it and one guy came out and started doing the worm on the field. god, that was awesome! and, amazingly, he didn't get any blue turf on his uniform...man, band uniforms really ARE magical. cause they keep you pretty warm, too. and the whole while, Miroku had his arm wrapped around me. i was shivering like crazy. he says he has a higher body temperature, but i could feel him shivering and i commented on it and he said it was only lightly. but i moved closer anyways. and then it was so awesome! cause the annoucer came on and said something like, "today, BSU will be showing you something new that was just added to the show today." and a trumpet went over to an off-field saxaphone and proposed! she threw her arms up in the air and they were all hugging and she was crying and eventually both went back on field. and the announcer comes back on and says, "i think the answer was 'yes.'" (think it's a sign for Miroku and i, maybe? course, if THAT was a sign, what about the sign of those dating abuse ads the school got in the Monday Miroku and i come back to school after we started dating? <.< >.>) and yeah, then we got our award, got back on the bus and i stayed close to Miroku still cause i was cold, and he was cold, and also to calm him down. cause he was upset that in his last year we had gotten 4th place when we usually always get 3rd and he was making a fist to keep his anger in, really digging his nails into his palm. so i stayed close and tried to comfort him as best i could. and i was practically falling asleep in his arms, though, i was so tired. and we got back to the school and there's the usual band gathering at Sharis. and Miroku and i go this time (since it's 11:30 and Rockies is DEFINETLY closed) and his mom gives us a ride over, first stopping at their house so he can change. and on the ride to and from, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and held me close still. (so ha, Ching! how's that for your so-called "dirty relationship!" i bet John doesn't hold you every chance he gets!) and we saw Erik at Sharis with....one of the bass clarinetists and Melina XP Melina says they've gone on a few dates (her and Erik) but Erik says he's not dating her. whoa, conflict. so yeah. then i got home at 1:30 and i didn't have to go to church today! yes! score one for dates that go to 1:30! but mom gave me her cell phone in case i needed to call for a ride home and when Miroku's mom had me halfway home she called. i didn't answer though cause i was like, "i'm still at the restaurant" (i had left my coat in the car) so yeah. but then i realized that she was still up! i was like DAMMIT! but she didn't get me up for church, so ha! but then i had a weird nightmare about chopped off beaver heads in a canal. and yeah. that was my life for the past 24 hours. a lot, no? ^^; later!

my life has flashed before my eyes, man
today was awesome! we got 2nd place overall and got 1st in visuals. WOO! and i got to see my evil twin and Joe! Audrey's school got 3rd over all and i cheered for them. but stupid Nampa got five fucking awards! FIVE! the little bastards! one for every letter of the competition! T-V-F-O-B. so Yahiko and Miroku and i determined that since they won more than 3 awards, they cannot participate in DIII. see? III? yeah. but their band was HELLA HUGE! i was envious of their size, their almost all black uniforms, their black, shiny plumes, and their color guard was using plastic swords! i was like: SWORDS! *drool* and we also determined that nampa and centennial should not be allowed to compete and that they should just have their own little competition to versus each other. centennial wasn't at TVFOB, but they're just as good i've heard. and mom came and gave me a low down on the two schools that went after us. and both of them had someone trip! she asked us if we jinxed the field when we left. cause Audrey's school had a drumline's hat fall off. but it was all good. until the band had to march BACKWARDS over the hat, which caused one girl to trip. and Nampa had someone trip, too! but their band is so frickin huge with so many frickin points, i doubt that someone tripping would cost them all that much -.-
so we left after listening to the awards, and i was flirting with Yahiko and Miroku the whole time, and they flirted back. but it could have also been blamed on the candy. when we boarded the buses, the people were giving out candy bags and Yahiko still wanted to sit with me (i sat with him on the way there) and Miroku felt unloved so i told him i would sit with him on the way back. but before we left, Yahiko wanted me to sit on his lap, and we all 3 sat together and traded off a whole bunch of candy. and Miroku told us how his dad works at Rockies Diner and Yahiko said he'd never been before, so we decided that instead of going to Sheris, like the rest of the band was, we 3 made plans to go to Rockies. i was the first one there, and after about 15 minutes did Miroku show up and told me that Yahiko couldn't come. but Miroku's parents were there. but they said they would go to a different booth. but there was a girl working there that i know, she used to be in the 9th grade band, i was in there for a few minutes and she asked if i was gonna come in and i replied that i was waiting for someone and she asked if my party would have two. i just LOVE how she automatically assumed it was a date. and then Miroku came and we went in and his mom even told our waitress that we were on a 'date.' i must have been blushing furiously. i was just thinking, "it's NOT a date!" but as the night progressed, Miroku and i both determined that it WAS a date AND that were were going steady. it was just a woah for both of us, man. cause he's like a senior, and the japanese club president, AND a DDR master. and we were at Rockies until, like, 10, even though they close at 9 ^^; but i saw that they were hiring, and it's a pretty close place to my house and NOT a fast food place so i got an application. i'll ask Miroku if he'll give it to his dad to give it back to them when i see him monday.
okay, that was a really long post, so i'll shut up now. g'bye-bye!
edit: the two 'poems' i wrote yesterday are actually songs. songs that come from Nightmare Before Xmas whose words i just changed around ^^;

Jack's Obsession
TVFOB is buzzing in my skull
Will it let me be? I cannot tell
There are so many things I cannot grasp
When I think I've got it, and then at last
Through my fingers it does slip
Like a snowflake that's in Hiei's grip
Something's here I'm not quite getting
Though I try, I keep forgetting
Like a song so long since past
Here in an instant, gone in a flash
What does it mean?
What does it mean?
In this little instrument
A secret's waiting to be sent
These notes and rhythms confuse me so
Confound it all, I love it though
Simple objects, nothing more
But something's hidden through a door
Though I do not have the key
Something's there I cannot see
What does it mean?
What does it mean?
What does it mean?
Hmm...
I've played these music books so many times
I know the beats and I know the rhymes
I know the music all by heart
My skull's so full, it's tearing me apart
As often as I've played them, something's wrong
So hard to put my finger on
Or perhaps it's really not as deep
As I've been led to think
Am I trying much too hard?
Of course! I've been too close to see
The answer's right in front of me
Right in front of me
It's simple really, very clear
Like music drifting in the air
Invisible, but everywhere
Just because I cannot see it
Doesn't mean I can't believe it
You know, I think this marching thing
It's not as tricky as it seems
And why should they have all the fun?
It should belong to anyone
Not anyone, in fact, but me
Why, I could be the band leader
And there's no reason I can find
I couldn't handle marching time
I bet I could improve it too
And that's exactly what I'll do
Hee, hee, hee
Eureka! I've got it
see how obsessed i became with Nightmare Before Xmas while on vacation? that was the theme all over Disneyland. i got a soundtrack and two shirts of Xmas.
but yes, TVFOB is tomorrow. oh man. today, we did some comlete run throughs of our 5 songs (but all together with how they were arranged, they are 3) and practiced getting on and off the field, for the school we're going to is different from ours. so we had to turn around and make backfield frontfield and it was all very different and made me uneasy, caused it seemed like we were awfully close to the front aka back side line and it didn't feel right. but apparently, we were. go figure.
Hiei: and as he would probably tell you, you'll do fine
AG: and as i would tell him, it doesn't quell my fears at all TT.TT
Hiei: that's cause you're a hopeless case
AG: a tired, hopless case. i logged in to Deviant Art to see if i could upload this huge ass moving GIF i have, but it didn't work there, either. i think the code broke, cause it won't move anymore. but when i logged in, i had 100 messages! i was like: O.o holy shit! and they'd all been sent in June down! i thought i'd visited after then, but apparently not
and savani, if you get on here and read this, i just finished the Fushigi Yugi episode disk today! woo, i'm so proud of myself! of you're 4 DVDs and having them for a month, i have finished 1!
and soon, i will have my life back from band again! only to have it taken away for pep band and parades! -.- woo.
Hiei: *laughs at AG's misfortune*
AG: yeah, yeah, laugh it up han-Jaganshi. i've heard you sing in both languages
Hiei: *eyes widen* you wouldn't
AG: *raises eyebrow* try me
Hiei: *flits off*
AG: That's what i thought. now where was i? huh, i guess that's it
My dearest friend, if you don't mind
I'd like to join you by your side
Where we can gaze into the stars
And sit together, like friends forever
For it is plain as anyone can see
We're simply meant to be...

we suffer humiliating defeat
and as the marching band, we refuse to play for our crap-for-team-who's-only-won-one-game-whole-season
Hiei: but you don't have to go play at anymore football games
AG: -.- details. but TVFOB is coming up, along with DIII, and coming up fast. i have about a week to get our last song memorized. with my luck, we'll probably get the new cordinance sheets on Monday *yawns* *stretches*
Hiei: ya know what'd he'd say?
AG: that if i'm tired, i should go to bed, i know, i know. but first, y'all must hear this HORRID summary of Naruto that Disney Adventures magazine did:
Adapted from a popular Japanese series, this high-flying 'toon stars a rascally ninja named Uzumaki Naruto who dreams of becoming his village's one ninja. That tops, supposedly, wanting to be the village's best pizza delivery dude!
1) when is there EVER any mention of pizza ANYWHERE in the show?! the theme food is RAMEN, hello!
2) if Naruto were to be the ONE ninja, what would become of Lord Hokage? or the teachers who TEACH the ninja way for OTHER ninja students who will become NINJAS. gee, anyone else see a pattern here?
in other news i have found my dream college: Tokyo College of Music. it is a music college, it is FAR away from my mother, is in Japan, and best of all, it's private. Ching says that private college's give out more scholarships than public college's. but looking at all their pictures, there was not a single American in that orchestra or warming up or whatever. but what was really cool was they also had extra classes for learning instruments like the biwa and the koto or Indonesian music. i think i'll take the Japanese music classes, along with going in as an oboe/clarinet/timpani player, and also take the conducting classes for those who want to be professional conductors. i don't really, but conductings always been fun for me, since i always notice the flaws in others i'm not used to. like the sub we used to have at jr. high couldn't start worth crap, and our drum majors this year can't count with their arms and eventually slow down their counting, which slows us down and...yes. and then maybe, Mr. Sullivan will call me back to teach marching and to conduct until school starts. and yes, now i am starting to feel like i have a fever, cause i can't sit up straight and focus on this computer screen. beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed...

i've been getting really creative. i recently submitted a wallpaper and 2 ecards to theO, and, at first it went through, but now it like...didn't. and they're really not all that bad! actually, they're not bad at all! but what i forgot to do is put my name on them. so if they go through, i'll have to delete them again to put my name on V.V i'm hopeless. so hopefully they're accepted. i sent one, and i don't think it was accepted, so i put it in again under a different type. please, accept them! *crosses fingers* accept them...OR ELSE!
there's really not much else here. i have SATs tomorrow and Wednesday. i also have my review classes for driver's ed today and tomorrow. *does a little dance* i get my permit, i get my permit...
Hiei: that's a scary thought
AG: hey, you drive WAY worse than i do. er...i mean...
Hiei: *gives look* i drive WORSE than you? are you saying you still drive badly?
AG: >.< No! i drive VERY carefully! so carefully, i practially STOP on turns!
Hiei: *raises eyebrow*
AG: ......................it was my first drive. i've driven better since then! i've even driven on the freeway *nods*
Hiei: O.o that is VERY scary
AG: didn't i just say YOU'RE the bad driver here?
Hiei: no, you said i was worse than you
AG: okay, we're talking in circles. and my wrists hurt from these stupid rests. the teacher's all, "yeah, i have really bad carpal tunnel, because i didn't use these rests. so now my wrists really hurt." and she's making me all psychosomatic about it. now i'm thinking that WITH these rests, i'll get wrist arthritus (sp?). and also, i lost my palm pilot! i don't know why i'm happy about that. i'm thinking it's at home by the computer, left there from when i was downloading stuff. either that, or it was somehow jacked from me in Japanese earlier, which is highly doubtful, because my bag was with me the whole time. i'm sending Hiei out to find it
Hiei: that's good- wait, what?
AG: ^^ well, the bell's about to ring, so i'd better run before Hiei hurts me
Hiei: *nods* that's a good idea....*stops* wait a minute...what- hey! get back here!

Something wicked this way comes...
the other day it smelled like Halloween. can you identify that smell? the smell of hay, mixed with cold air with a hint of darkness *evil laugh* and it's not even September 20th yet. no trick or treating this year for me, though. darn. no free candy.
so, anyhoo, i still think school is a fucking hell hole. 35 more weeks of school! TT.TT but Wednesday, all the acc/AP english kids got to go see the Shakespeare festival, and watch 'The Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged.' and it was so funny. at the beginning, there's this guy explaining all the etiquite of an outdoor theatre, and one of their actors (that you don't know is one of them) is all going around, taking pictures (bad), talking on his cellphone (bad again) and stuff. okay, and what you have to understand is: only 3 guys were in this play. no more. no girls. 3 guys. and Shakespeare did R&J. so the guy who played Juliet was all, "look, man, i just don't wanna kiss ya!" and when Juliet 'died,' Romeo was all, "maybe she was born with such beauty." and Juliet says, "or maybe it's Maybelline." and earlier, when Romeo was saying he would not be called Romeo, Juliet was all, "what was that? you want to be called Butt love?" so later she was all, "good night, Butt love." that reminds me of yaoi.
so then, they went through a few more, and they did Hamlet. so they went through Hamlet, then asked us if we wanted to see it faster. we were all, "yeah!" so they did it faster. when they were done, the guy asks if we wanted to see it backwards. so they did it backwards. omg, it was hilarious! one guy had to go a ghost forwards, so going backwards, he said, "oob." and the guy had to pretend his mother was his lover. he was always saying things like, "goodnight, my lover- i mean mother! mother, mother, mother, mother, mother." it was hilarious. go my town, for having cool actors like them!
speaking of acting, i just threw my acting career as a maybe VA for FUNi down the drain! yesterday was the last day to audition for drama club, and i totally spaced it! V.V goodbye, FUNi.
but i did join Japanese club. and there's a Japanese trip i could go on this summer for only $500! it's better than the Trip to Japan 2006, which is $3000. which would YOU do.
and i'm about to konk out on the keyboard here. it's 11. and i still have to finish the first DVD of the Soul Hunter boxset tonight.
but speaking about boxsets, i got the Spirit Detective Boxset! i got it at right-stuf.com for.....$60! $40 cheaper than what i was gonna pay at Suncoast! i took out money from my Kuronue costume fund and took advantage of that sale! and, let me just say, i love right-stuf now. even though it took FOREVER AND A DAY for it to get here! i ordered it on Saturday, and next Saturday, i get an email that says, "your order has now been shipped." i was just like, "you mother fuckers! you're just NOW sending it?!" but hey, i got it, and now i need to watch it. but i'm going to have trouble getting through the episodes with the T brothers...Hiei and Yukina will just have to comfort me at the end!
Hiei: comfort you, how? we both know we don't give comfort in the form of...what did you call it? a 'lug?'
AG: >.< no silly, a hug! but yes, the physical contact is kept to a minimum. but yeah, i love right-stuf now, cause along with my boxset, they sent me an order magazine the size of newtype, and some preview cards for animes such as Kodocha and stuff (like little mini-hard posters) and another Takuhai. but yes, it is past 12 now. i submitted my ecard, so hopefully it gets accepted! ^^ oyasumi!

man! it SUCKED! okay, so Borah lost 7-14. >.< stupid Centennial Patriots! BURN! and i got off step SO MANY TIMES marching! V.V i am ashamed of myself. but after our game, Capital and Mountain Vue (yes, spelled that way...i think)/View were next, and i saw Audrey! yay! my twin! Capital's lucky, though. their school colors are black V.V
and then, this weekend, i got a new desk. mom and i agreed that my little pink desk from when i was 7 just wouldn't cut it anymore. i couldn't work on it because it wasn't smooth for writing and my room doesn't have good lighting, so when i worked, my own shadow made me strain my eyes, and my eyesight's bad enough. so it got here this weekend, and mom put it together. but i knew i needed to get everything off, and out of, the old desk. so i went and got a big box from the garage. and my mom starts yelling at me that the box is too big, and yells at me to go put it away and get the old plastic containers. so i just threw it into the garage, cause she's grabbing the containers, and she yells at me to put it back where i got it. so i do, and start to leave again. but she yells at me AGAIN to put the smaller boxes back in it. she's such a control freak. i'm sure some other yelling went on during the day. but then, she did something that has now totally lost all my respect for her and made me refuse to take another order from her: she ripped off every sticker i had put on my old desk through the years. she didn't even ASK me! all i do is go into my room to find my little desk bare and all my stickers in shambles in my garbage. it mad me so mad. and she's such a control freak. she's yelling at me to get off now, saying that she argues with me every night for me to get off. she does not. so, yeah, i'd better go
on a brighter note, i'm getting the Spirit Detective box set! woo!

it's only the second day and i'm already tired...
But the good thing about early things is that the library is already checking out books! and you can check out 3 at a time! score! so i checked out Magic Knight Rayearth 1, 2, and 3. >:D haha! as if i didn't have enough library books
Hiei #23: *laying upside down reading Shonen Jump*
hey, yeah, i changed Hiei's DNA back. he's actually pretty nice
BH: maybe that's because you've fed him so much ice cream, he's practically sedated.
AG: hey, it works. yeah, i'm posting during Handheld Technology class! i think if i went a year without computer access, i'd die. but speaking anime earlier, i have met an anime fan in my first period Japanese 1. XD anime fans of *insert city name here*, unite! but there's some people in that class that look like they had no idea what they were signing up for.
and i got to miss geometry yesterday! for some stupid assembly for the sophomores. but hey! i still got to miss math class!
mom's also been unplugging me from the Internet a lot lately. for the past 2 days, at 8:40, she's all, "it's time to get off." and duh, like i'm going to. so at, like, 9:02 she'll get so mad that i'm not off at 9, she'll come and unplug me. and god, it's annoying the fucking shit outta me! i'm past hell, man, she's entered the 7th Ring of AG's Anger. where does she get the GALL to dare and control me!? during matters of life and death, too! well, not life and death. more life vs. death ^^; but hey. it's fun to rp, no?
i almost forgot! yesterday, i was in my first driving accident! how come my partner doesn't get all this good experience? i've dealt with traffic jams and now accidents, and all he does is drive. don't worry, i'm fine. let me say: it wasn't my fault! i was turning and there's this Taco Bell to my left, and i see someone coming out so i stop halfway through my turn to let them go, and the guy rear-ends me. *smirks* he got all the damage. but hey, that's what he gets for not allowing 3-second stopping distance! so we pulled over to exchange information, and i can just imagine what the guy was thinking.
"do you have your license?"
"no."
"do you have your permit?"
"no."
my instructor is supposed to have my permit number with her. i think she did, but i'm not sure. when we first pulled over, she's all asking him, "do you want to call the police?" and i'm just like O.o *whines* can we not? but hey, in my state, if you rear-end someone, it's automatically your fault. so ha on him! stupid Oregon driver.
