Warning! really long post that rants about band and Bryan
Hey, everyone! It’s the end of the week again and that means I can stay up late enough to update!
It’s Xmas break! Woo! Except we go back on January 2nd, so have no time to make up sleep from staying up til ungodly hours on the 1st.
Okay, I have a lot to update on my week. I don’t remember why, but Mr. Sullivan wasn’t in for the last three days this week. Which means a sub, which means someone who doesn’t know what we do and has no way to help us get better since she doesn’t know what we do. I don’t care that she’s in an orchestra (she kept calling us orchestra instead of band. Hello! There’s no string instruments in us!) And the band just drove me crazy! Have any of you band people ever played a song called Dusk? It’s a very beautiful song that, when played the right way, puts you in a trance, even if you’re the one playing. One wrong note or cue and that trance is broken. When we played it with the sub, there was nothing! No trance, no magic, nothing! Because people were talking during their rests, they wouldn’t cut off, and they were just making me so angry! And then, to make me even angrier and depressed, Bryan ignored me all through lunch AGAIN! And I refused to take it anymore. So right when the bell rang, I left without saying bye or hugging him. And later that day, when he was at my locker, he said the jazz band drove him crazy, too. But I was mad at him. He had constantly been ignoring me and I was tired of it. And he said he got the feeling I was mad at him. I didn’t answer and we walked to Tom’s car in silence. Then Debbie, Bryan’s ex-girlfriend came over, cause she sometimes gets rides from Tom, and she says some happy random fact about her life and Bryan snaps at her and Debbie snaps back at him and he mutters about how annoying she is. And, ya know, I may be mad at him, but I still care for him, so I sit next to him to help him calm down and I tell him that I planned on going to the choir concert that night if he still wanted me to. And he said he’d like me to. And I think there were double meanings in what we were saying. Like, “will you still have me?” “yes.” But that’s probably just me and my ever-romantic brain. And he apologized for ignoring me all the time, that he got distracted easily. I said he was just lucky I’m a sucker for apologies. He just laughed and agreed. And I went to the concert that night and actually enjoyed myself (this is all Wednesday, by the way). The choir sang Carol of the Bells! That’s my favoritest song! (yes, I said favoritest) And the orchestra performed and they had an oboe! *dreamy look* it had such a pure sound! My crappy rented oboe couldn’t do that, I haven’t really been able to hear Ricky, the other oboe, but it made me so jealous. Speaking of playing the oboe, I found a whole bunch of anime sheet music the other day. I was like, “score! Music I can start an oboe folder with!” cause I have a TON of clarinet sheet music and books, and now I need to start on the oboe. Anyways, then on Thursday, Lord Fluffy (aka Robert. I just don’t like calling anybody by a name that could be Rob or something, but he doesn’t seem like a Rob or Bobby or anything) came over to Bryan and told him how he was gonna beat him in dueling and Bryan said that he was only gonna duel Logan ONCE at lunch then he wasn’t going to duel anymore that day. He told him that, “he had to fix a mistake he’d made.” And that made me really happy inside. Because the “mistake” he was talking about was ignoring me. So I ate and waited for him to finish dueling Logan. And he did. And he was like, “let’s do one more.” I was just thinking, “okay.” And then, apparently, the duel ended, but they kept dueling in a “practice battle.” And I got fed up. So I read the school paper and when he FINALLY finished dueling, I was into the paper and I HATE to be interrupted when I’m reading. So he just kinda stood there then went and started helping Josh reconstructing his deck and the bell rang. So basically, he ignored me AGAIN, even though he said he was gonna fix that *shakes head* and on Thursday, when the band kept talking again, every other time I heard talking from the trombones I would see him turned around talking to Kerry next to him. And had I had something at the time other than paper to throw at him, I would have. He’s a senior and the band is already acting bad enough without him encouraging them to talk! So after band I went and found him, hit him upside the head, and yelled at him for encouraging the bad behavior. He told me what he knew was doing was bad after a little while and stopped and I apologized for hitting him, but, really, he deserved it. He knows better. Hell, I know better! *sighs* thing is, I just give too many chances. Fate has tied us together. And It’s clutches won’t let him go from me now. Even if we were to break up, we’d still probably act the same way with each other. Bryan said he’d call, but he’s been saying that for the last month over weekends and it hasn’t happened. I said that and he was like, “I will!”
And last night, we ate at Rockies, and the DJ wasn’t there! But then he came in later and he kept staring at me. And he started passing out candy canes and when he got to us he sat down next to me and was all, “where’s Bryan?” and if you didn’t guess by now, the DJ is Bryan’s dad. I told him the last time I saw Bryan, he was leaving with Tom, cause his dad hadn’t seen him when he was home, so he said that him with Tom is a scary thing. It is. Tom tried to kill me twice yesterday hugging me. He’s a senior football player. Yeah. He’s managed to kill Bryan a lot. He jumped on Bryan once and Bryan couldn’t balance right and they both fell over and killed Byran’s knee the night of the first choir concert (Tuesday). And after Rockies, mom drove to Bryan’s house cause his house was mentioned as one of the most decorated in the city, so mom wanted to see it, then we drove by DQ and I looked for Bryan and I saw him at a table with Don, I think it was. The person he was sitting with looked female, and the only female I can think of at DQ was his manager, Don. And I saw Tom running around in his football jacket
Okay, I should probably shut up now. Anyone who read this post all the way, I thank you for listening to my long complaining and random facts. Ching’s b-day party on Sunday and the Japanese Club eat out on Tuesday.
