my summer school is done for this year. yippee. so today i got to spend all afternoon with my fiance. and he helped me beat Kingdom Hearts! so now i can move on to KH2 after four frickin months!
but today, when i went out with Bryan, we went out for job applications. mine are both found online. i want to apply to Fred Meyer and Reel Theatre. it's one of the many dollar theaters that we have here. not like EDWARDS. Bryan also got one for Fred Meyer and the Reel, and i also got him to pick one up for the gelato stand in the mall. for those who don't know, gelato is italian ice cream. it's not as hard as our ice cream. he also was going to apply to Edwards, but then he didn't. we both have to choose jobs that are nearby in the event that we might not have cars. and yeah, i know, it would be bad for us to work the same shift at the same place. i know i would get distracted. or i'd resist majorly and just be like, "Squires! go do that!" or "Squires, did you get that done yet?"
oh yes, and Bryan has dyed his hair black tonight. i was giving him step-by-step instructions. but i had to leave before the 25 minutes he needed to leave it in had even really started. so poor Chris is going to get a heart attack when next he sees him.
i've been getting into a lot of books lately. a few weekends ago, i bought MeruPuri 1-4, Dazzle 1-2, Absolute Boyfriend 1(regular manga), You and Harujion, La Esperanca, Little Flower (yaois), and Maximum Ride, which is just a regular book. of all of these, i would highly recommend MeruPuri. it's just your normal fairy tale story of the girl falls in love with a prince, they go through some trials, and at the end they marry and live happily ever after. both Bryan and i loved it, and can't wait for it to come out, if ever, to anime. and the best part is, all the volumes are out. actually, it's sad, because i loved it. but yes, it is a total of 4 manga. and i recently checked out a book from the library called Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and i loved it so much i bought it and the book next in the series. i would have bought the 3rd book, but it was hard back, and as we all know, hard back is more expensive than paperback. Hawksong's plot is there's this clan of bird people and a clan of snake people who have been at war for hundreds of years. after all the siblings and a lot more of the royal families have died, the princess of the bird people and the prince of the snake people decide that to end the war, they should marry. after many attemps at suicide on the princess to stop the union, they slowly fall in love with each other. the marriage scene had vows that i changed around a bit to use as vows for my wedding.
and that's basically it. i started rereading HP 5. so in the time i need to pass, i'll be playing KH2, reading HP, and cleaning my room, cause it really needs it. oh, and training with Chris
