yay! i got the job at Reel! and it only took them 2 weeks to get back to me! but it is 2 weeks to the day they interviewed me. but i got the job! i keep screaming that inside my head.
today, i went over to Chris's to train just for the hell of it! 8D and now i'm really feeling it. he had me run on his treadmill for 1.5 miles (6 meters, for you math wizards) and i curled with some small wrist weights, but even though i did 20 minutes (with breaks), i'm not sore. but maybe i'm just not feeling it yet. and we rode bikes a short way to Robert's house and we trained with his bo staves for about 10 minutes. but i didn't stretch before i ran, so now i'm really feeling it!
marching band starts soon! i'm so psyched! cause this year i'm a junior! not a sophomore who doesn't know what's going on. i can't wait to be marching, and play my clarinet, and go to competition. then switch to oboe. i so can't wait for school to start, amazingly. i'm gonna help out the Japanese club as much as i can, and i'm gonna take the SAT sometime this year. get me into the city college.
what's an amazing thought is, you all know how school years can actually go by pretty fast, right? well, i keep thinking that this year will pass fast and next thing i'll know, i'll be a senior! senior pictures, not playing pomp and circumstance at graduation, my big prom, where i'm gonna get a limo and a $300 dress...high school really is the best years of your life. no wonder you go to reunions for it, and not jr. high. jr. high is evil! but high school is awesome!
