god...so tiring. i had to go in at 5, and it took me less than an hour to read it. then, i was assigned to grunge work. i get to rip people's tickets (when they aren't even really supposed to be ripped. really, if you're going to be sneaking around a $2 theater, why bother?) and once everyone is in the theater, i get to sweep the lobby and the halls. then, when the movies are over, i get to go in and help someone else sweep the theaters. and people, don't let your kids throw popcorn around PLEASE. it's SO hard to sweep up. especially when there's a lot of kids. and take your fucking drinks and candy with you and throw them out yourself. lazy asses. oh, and i get to clean off the outside benches and glass displays of candy. yep. it's going to be a while before i can do concessions, because i think i need to get through my 90-day probation first, and then i have to get a food service license. oh, and i don't get paid for overtime. aren't i lucky? but at least i get free movies to any Reel Theatre in town. even the Northgate one, which gets the new movies, like Pirates 2. hopefully, i can get enough of my employee stuff (like my pass card and a NAMETAG) by Bryan's b-day. he hasn't seen Pirates yet, so that'd be good.
