I have a long story for anyone who decides to read this.
Monday night, Chris and I had decided that we would go see Nightmare Before Christmas 3D after school. We knew Bryan would have the day off so we could go. I called Bryan on Chris's cell and left a message that said we were going to try to make a 4:30 one, so call Chris after school to help make plans. He gets ahold of me after school and says he can't make that one, but there was a show we could make at 7:30. He's starting work on Pumpkin House and was getting the pumpkins that afternoon. He recently got a car, so was willing to pick up both me and Chris because he gets better gas mileage. At about 7, I realize I don't know a plan, but everytime I try to call Bryan, he talks for about 5 seconds before he had to help with the pumpkins. So I had Chris call him and get a plan. By 7:15, I left and called Bryan saying that if he wasn't leaving in the next few seconds, I was going to pick up Chris. He said he was almost done, so I should just head over to his house. So I do, and I sit in my car for 10 minutes before he's done. And it takes 10 minutes just to get out to Chris's and then 10 more minutes to get back to Edwards. I'm getting really upset cause we're gonna miss the movie and Bryan finally finishs and tells me to get in his car. At first, I refuse, wanting him to just get in my car, cause I'm all ready to go. But he tells me to get in his car, and I park kind of at an angle next to his car, because they have so many cars and not a whole lot of room left for me. He's rushing, with a stick shift car, and he backs out quickly and we suddenly hear this screech of metal on metal. He slams on the brakes and we freeze. I know I was the one thinking, "you did not hit my car, you did not just hit my car, you did not hit my car." He pulls forward and he hits his grandparents car. But I'm just mostly still angry at him for hitting MY baby so I just order him to get in my car. Amazingly, we're both near tears for that and when I try to back out, I do start crying, cause I can't back out with his car so close behind mine. It made me start crying, cause my dad's always forcing me to back up the car when it's close to other's cars and it makes me afraid that I'm gonna hit the other car. Once we get out, he's apologizing profusely, saying that he'll pay for the damages. By the time we get to Chris's, it's 7:40, and it will take us 10 minutes to get back to the theater. I ask if we want to make the 9:30. It doesn't matter for Bryan to, because he doesn't have school in the morning. Chris calls his house asking if he can and he gets the go ahead. When I call, my mom says no and that I have to be back home by 9, cause it's a school night. After I hang up with her, I turn to the guys and say, "screw her. I've worked too hard to see this movie today and I'm gonna go see Nightmare. I know the consequences and I'm gonna take them." So we went and saw the 9:30 Nightmare. Bryan and I were still high on emotions, but we calmed down. After the movie, we briefly spotted a Jack and Sally cosplay pair. I wanted to go glomp Jack, but he was too far away. When we got out to where I'd parked the car, I looked around...and it was gone. I was just like, "shit, don't tell me the car got stolen now!" But after looking around for a little bit, we found it a few feet away. Either my parents knew when I wasn't home by 9 where I was, so they moved the car so I'd call them and be like, "yeah, the car got stolen," then they'd be like, "well, if you had come home like we said, this probably wouldn't have happened." and would have been all smug. But my whole night was full of "if I hadn't done this, this wouldn't have happened" so it's a good thing I found it. When I got home, mom demanded my car keys and said I was grounded. She was like, "what part of 'you couldn't go to the 9:30 movie' didn't you understand?" After being supressed for 16 years I snapped back at her, "the part where I worked all day to see that movie and I wasn't going to miss it." Then she was like, "you disrespected me," and I was just thinking, "oh, she wants to get started down the path of disrespect now?" When she demanded my car keys, I just shrugged, handed her my key ring and said, "Okay. It was in an accident and it needs more gas anyways." Didn't even phase her. But it was all totally worth it to see Nightmare in 3D on the big screen.
Okay, my long story is over. Now to start on another one. There was practice after school until 5, even though it's the 2nd to last practice. So mom came and picked me up and I took my shower. By the time I come out it's 5:55, I have to leave for work in 5 minutes and my parents were just then starting dinner. Since I don't have keys, I go up to them and eagerly ask, "so, who's taking me to work?" Mom says I can take her keys and drive myself. That's why it's bad for them to have taken my will to drive. They've just become my car slaves again. After the sets, I'm telling Garren my Nightmare story, my back facing the register and Garren suddenly reacts and there's a customer right behind me. Oops. I didn't treat the customer immediatly ^^; Then we had a sorority and a fraternity come in and watch Beerfest. The 68-seat theater was almost full. I went upstairs to see it, then while I was leaving, I heard the Superman music and watched Superman for a few seconds. Then I get back into the office and Gary starts scolding me for leaving my post when the set isn't over, even though it was, because Rodney's told us that the set ends 10 minutes after the last movie starts (last movie started at 9:50. It was then 10. sets over). He also scolds me for talking to my coworkers while there's customers around (didn't see the customer!) and for not making more popcorn, "making a game out of how long we can go without having to make more." even though both Garren and I don't want to wash a hot popper and wait for it to cool, allowing us to leave even later. Then I check my cell messages and find a message from Bryan, so I call him back and he's out driving (I try not to drive and talk on my cell when possible. I did it for the first time on Monday). He realizes I'm at work, so comes to visit me finally! I've been to see him at work at his new job about 5 times now and he's only come in to my work once for about 2 minutes to tell me he's sorry he couldn't make it the first time, when I REALLY needed him that day. So I was happy he finally came and saw me at work. I don't trust his car anymore, so when I got out early, I waited with him while some cars moved away from his. So I was out late with him. Oh, no.
And if you read this really long post, then thank you, peoples.
