Any Ideas?
Well, I've been studying up on html and my father just finished updating the software on our servers, but I'm still trying to come up with ideas for websites. I have a few things in mind, but I thought it might be a good idea to see if any of you had any good ones. Any suggestions?

Vacation
I got back from the Alton Bay Christian Conference Center in New Hamshire late saturday night - haven't gotten around to updating until now. So anyway, on monday a family friend brought his water ski's and we took those out on my dad's boat and had some fun. I think only him, I, and another family friend in his 20's were actually able to get up out of the water on them.
We went to surf coaster on tuesday, for the forth or fifth year in a row. That place is literally falling apart. The walls in the wave pool are crumbling; it probably won't be long until the park closes. One of the employees my father talked to said the problem was the management. After that, we went out for dinner at Bonanza, along with two other families that we knew that went up for the week. We ordered seperately, so we would be able to pay individually, but we sat together. Anyway, my family - there's seven of us - ordered first, yet we did not recieve our food even after the other two familes had recieved theirs and an hour had passed. My father went up to complain, and the cook looked at the receipt and threw some meat on the grill. My father was so pissed. We even considered gorging ourselves at the free salad bar (other than salads there were soups, ice cream, other desserts, and even some meats there) then leaving and calling the credit card company and telling them not to pay the bill since we never recieved our food. But we ended up waiting, and after about twenty minutes, during which my twelve-year-old brother spilled Coke on my father's leg, just adding to his pissosity, we recieved our food, which at least was good.
Then on wednesday, I finally talked my father into renting a wake board, we got it at 2pm that day, and it was due back at noon thursday. So, we used it all day, and for a few hours thursday morning. Once again, though, only I and the before mentioned family friend in his twenties were succesful at getting out of the water.

Vacation
Okay people, I'm leaving for New Hampshire with my family today, as I do every year. I can't answer any questions right now, but I'll be glad to tell everyone all about it when I get back.

Key Board, Mouse, and more
Well, my father, like always, has been spending at least five hours on eBay a week. Yesterday, we got a package, rather, we got two packages, both from the same company/person in California. In the first and smaller package was found a controller/keyboard for the playstation two, which will hopefully end the era of taking ten minutes to write a single name in RPG's. Plus, you can hook up the keyboard connection to the computer and type stuff while you play, like I am doing as we (I) speak (type). The second package then contained a wireless keyboard and mouse for the family computer, a wirless controller for the playstation 2, and a a web cam, for my dad's huge work computer in the basement that he doesn't let anyone touch (he works for a Federally Funded Research and Developement Center - FFRDC - and can access pretty much any computer on the four building complex since he is one of a group of network routers) All of which we recieved new/virtually-new and in shrinkwrap with instructions.
The mouse is kind of neat. Aside from being wirless, instead of having a mouse ball, it has a motion sensor on its base.

New Monitor
Well, I can officially report that I am exceptionally happy today. Why? Because my dad's company had some left over old, yet large-screen monitors. They auctioned them off, I guess, and my dad got two for $50 altogether - One being a 20" 1994 model originally bought at $2,000!
Yeah, I have been having a bit of trouble retooling windows so that all the fonts and stuff are readable - since the resolution on the monitor is higher than our old one. Right now, the width of this page, not including the marshmallow backround only takes up half the screen of the new one, with about a quarter on each side.
Well, I have to walk the dog, and then play cards with my family. Oyasumi nasai! (good night)
Edit: the screen resolution is 1600x1200, by the way.

Books
Well, my mom thought we should start our summer reading, so we went to Barnes & Noble yesterday. I chose to read "My Brother Sam is Dead" by James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier, along with "Rocket Boys" by Homer Hickam. Now, my brother had read the first book when he was going into eight grade, so I'm just going to use his copy. When we got there I went to the biography section and found "Rocket Boys" fairly easily, leaving me about an hour to wander around the store while my siblings sought out their books. Of course, for those who don't know, I have been intensely studying the Japanese language for a few months now, with a book with a very limited vocabulary. So I was browsing the language section when what do I come across but an entire shelf of English-Japanese/Japanese-English dictionaries. I eventually chose one that was published by Random House since it was compiled by a Japanese author and had over 50,000 entries. The cost? $12.95 plus tax.
The best part of course is that it includes the spellings of the Japanese words in both the Romaji, and Kana/Kanji.

Having a lazy old time
Well, I'm certainly enjoying this morning. I so far spent five hours playing Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles. It's a fairly fun game, not as great as some, but it passes the time and has an interesting story line. My brother just got a "Bastard Sword", which is kind of cool. It shocked us a little, but then we remembered the game was rated "T". I guess the graphical style and simplicity led us to believe that it was rated "E".

Fanart Voting
HA! I beat the system and voted for my own fanart! Actually, I don't think I really beat the system so much as tried something that all too many have assumed was restricted by the website.

Morning
Its been a long morning for me. I woke up at 9 and started playing vids with my brother. At about 10:30, my father asked me to run down to McDonalds and get some breakfast for our family of seven. Now, McD's is just up one street and down another from our house, so I ran there, but they weren't serving breakfast anymore. So, I ran to Dunkin' Donuts which is across town and maybe a mile from our house. Normally a mile is not much for me to jog, especially when its not competetive, but since I hadn't eaten breakfast, I began to get dizzy and my vision began to dim while I was waiting for my food. I rested my head on my arm at the counter, and I began to slide off of the counter, but the guy at the counter grabbed my arm and brought me to a table, where I drank the water I had bought. Then , he called the ambulance, and they tested my blood sugar, blood pressure, mental awareness, and such. In all of which I tested excellent. They called my father and he signed a release form and stuff and then we left. I then came home, ate my bacon egg and cheese bagel, and wrote this. It is now noon to the minute. It actually doesn't feel like three hours, but I can't decide if it feels shorter or longer, since so much happpened.
