Vacation
I got back from the Alton Bay Christian Conference Center in New Hamshire late saturday night - haven't gotten around to updating until now. So anyway, on monday a family friend brought his water ski's and we took those out on my dad's boat and had some fun. I think only him, I, and another family friend in his 20's were actually able to get up out of the water on them.
We went to surf coaster on tuesday, for the forth or fifth year in a row. That place is literally falling apart. The walls in the wave pool are crumbling; it probably won't be long until the park closes. One of the employees my father talked to said the problem was the management. After that, we went out for dinner at Bonanza, along with two other families that we knew that went up for the week. We ordered seperately, so we would be able to pay individually, but we sat together. Anyway, my family - there's seven of us - ordered first, yet we did not recieve our food even after the other two familes had recieved theirs and an hour had passed. My father went up to complain, and the cook looked at the receipt and threw some meat on the grill. My father was so pissed. We even considered gorging ourselves at the free salad bar (other than salads there were soups, ice cream, other desserts, and even some meats there) then leaving and calling the credit card company and telling them not to pay the bill since we never recieved our food. But we ended up waiting, and after about twenty minutes, during which my twelve-year-old brother spilled Coke on my father's leg, just adding to his pissosity, we recieved our food, which at least was good.
Then on wednesday, I finally talked my father into renting a wake board, we got it at 2pm that day, and it was due back at noon thursday. So, we used it all day, and for a few hours thursday morning. Once again, though, only I and the before mentioned family friend in his twenties were succesful at getting out of the water.
