I have anime expo report day 3 and 4 but I'm not sure I feel like posting it up.
I think I need to take a internet hiatus or something. Senior year is really hard. I'm going to be still active on MSN, soompi, livejournal, but that's about it. I'm going to work really hard this year! lol

So I'm back from Anime Expo! Uhm to be honest this year kind of sucked. But it was still fun to go to? Haha like I liked seeing old friends again and there were some super-cheap goods that were good buys and stuff, but, there were a lot of not-so-good things too like SO MUCH DRAMA and stuff like that :/
Anyway here's days 1 & 2~
Setsu had summer school so I spent the morning finishing up my cosplay! My mom helped me and even though our iron died my auntie brought me a new one. It was a little hectic, but in the end we finished~.
So, I was ready to go by 10:30, but it turned out Setsu didn't get here until around 12-ish. So I ate lunch and didn't have to pay for it at the convention center XD Luckily, Richard had saved us a place in the registration line because if he didn't, we would have been waiting for 3 hours at least! It was really a crazy line. We got to Artist Alley and looked around and there was a lot of good artist this year. Not as many people as last year, I think though. No one from just the con seemed to know who I was cosplaying, but all the artist alley people did! XD There was one table that specialized in Gintama and they were so good~ And then I met Haku from deviantART (and tabulas? XD)! Her art is so cool *____*
All of a sudden Richard disappeared and so we looked for him but couldn't find him at all~ We waited around for Setsu's friends 1/2 and Haru and Sutefu and people, and they were all really cool *___* But Ricahrd still didn't come back. So, I waited while they went to artist alley and saw a giant Elizabeth walking around! The giant Elizabeth came up to me and said hi to me an d then walked away xD; When Richard came back he told me that the Dealer's Room kind of sucked because you can only enter one way and you can only exit one way, and if you exit to get back to the entrance you have to walk all the way around the convention center again. So he was kind of tired and mad :/
^^^That's the giant Elizabeth I saw, we saw each other again when I had my camera xD
Anyway we met up with Rykku and Sunny and Krista and Yuna (and their other friend.. never found out her name sorry!) outside Artist Alley. They were all so cute! It was really nice seeing everyone again! It was the first time I had seen Yuna since the SAT XD; So of course we took pictures:
After that, we also met Ryan from JRC this past November. Richard was still tired so we rested a little while in a corner so that we wouldn't get run over by a lot of crazy Naruto fans xD'
When we got to the Dealers Room my first impression was that it was a much more spacious Dealers Hall than last year. But thinking back, I think it's because some of the big publishers like Tokyopop and Viz weren't there (too bad, too because I wanted to look for an internship :/) The first thing we saw was:
That and "WORLD OF HENTAI" on the other side of the booth haha. Anyway we started wandering around the Dealer's Hall and we found a lot of cool shops. There was this one cosplay shop with really nice people and cool clothes. They did gothic lolita and cosplay as specialty but they also sold merchandise from anime like Tshirts and stuff.
I really wanted cosplay from them but of course quality is expensive! XD; So I couldn't afford it lol. After, we passed by this one shop and Richard had to stop because he saw a Christmas Gloomy! He's really into Gloomy Bear lately haha. It was $35, but I think he got it down to $30. Before he bought it I thought it would be cute to make a family of Gloomies since there was 2 big Gloomy and 2 small Gloomy.
While we were in the dealer hall, Richard started playing a game on the Wii that was Naruto or something and Setsu and I went out to find her friends. I waited at the exit for Richard and she went ahead to go find her friends. While I was waiting I saw a lot of cute cosplays! :D Not so much inside the Dealers Hall though lol Uhm I'll put most cosplay pictures at the bottom though. While I was waiting I was against a wall and this group of Japanese girls came out and they were like "Okitaaaaa" and started pointing at me. It was so awkward xD; So I was like "Hi.." but they just kept pointing and walked away o_o;
Anyway Richard and I met up and we ate.. and while we ate I heard someone scream "OKITAAAAAA!!" And I stood up and looked around and I saw another Okita with a Hijikata! :D And we took a picture together and talked about how no one knew who we were except Japanese people xD;
Richard took me back to Artist Alley and bought me those cute stickers from Haku! I love them so much :'D I bought presents for my friends too :] Afterwards we went through Dealers Hall again and we got a call from Roscoe. When she saw us she started running towards us and gave me a kiss on the cheek, and Richard looked like he was going to slap her xD But it was fun meeting up again :] And she had the cutest little Mario toy. You hit it on the head over and over and after about 20 hits it makes the "game over" song XD; It was so cool *___* We walked around Dealers Hall for a while and Roscoe kidnapped me once and we met up with Kaori and then Richard kidnapped me. And then we walked around for a little longer and found a giant balloon dog! XD;
Exhibit hall was closing soon, so we went back to their hotel room and got Subway sandwich for dinner! *____* At first we were going to eat the Korean instant noodle they had up there but it burned my throat so I couldn't eat it xDD Meanwhile James and James were playing football on the PS2 and stuff... It was weird being in there because everyone seemed to know my name but I couldn't remember people's names... sorry everyone ;;
Anyway we hung out in the girls' room after and watched VH1 about famous people on the internet... like Tom from Myspace and those Chinese guys who did the Backstreet Boys thing. XD;; It's pretty amazing how you can get rich just from stuff like that. If I could I would just start a blog that 941984198109 people read and make lots of money for the rest of my life xDDD; But that's not going to happen. Uhm... after that was pretty much the end of that day so~ End day 1 xD
So the morning of Day 2 I signed on and found information about a Gintama meetup! It didn't seem like a lot of people were going to be thre but I thought I would try to make it just in case, and if I could I'd look for more Gintama people to make a more fuller meetup. xD; Also that morning Aries IMed me. He owed Richard $40. And he told me that I had to get it back from him only while he was in cosplay or else he wouldn't give it to me, and that he would probably only be in cosplay from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM :/ At first I was like WTH HOW DO WE DO THAT?! but then Richard was already running low on money... So I was like OK WE HAVE TO FIND HIM.
Well we met up at the hotel room around 10 and found a giant Gloomy Bear xD
He was with this little kid who was about 3 or 4 maybe? He was cosplaying a heartless from Kingdom Hearts~ And he was so cute! He was jumping around everywhere and saying "I'm a heartless!! I'm a heartless!!" He was jumping around too much for me to get a picture though xD;
We went to Vons to pick up some Gatorade and look for cheap places to eat and went back, but we found out Setsu needed a water gun so we went back to the Vons. Except when I was coming out of the parking lot I tripped on a parking lot block =A=;; I scraped my knee and my arm and I felt really stupid because I tripped in front of Richard and James and James and ... forgot but there was one other person.. and I had to get tissue from Ducky James' car because my arm was bleeding =A=;; Anyway we went to go get that and came back and stuff... and then Richard gave me Neosporin and some Hello Kitty band-aids (had to stay in character with my little kid outfit ;D)
We got to Dealer's room and hung out with Richard and Ducky James. Richard insisted on James being there in case any guys hit on me because I was in my kindergarten uniform xDD (short skirt) But yeah.. James wanted to buy a Gloomy Bear so we found the one with a little bird on his nose. And we decided it was a duck and named it little ducky. xD; We shopped around for a little while and then Setsu had to meet up with her friends again. In the end we separated but not before I got a picture of Ayumi and Kaori's gorgeous cosplay. It was so good that Ayumi got put on camera~~ haha I took a picture of her talking to one of the filmer people.
We walked outside for a little while and I found a Gintoki cosplayer! I asked if he knew anything about the meetup but he didn't, so I told him to wear his cosplay again on Monday and if we saw each other we could find the rest of the meetup.
After we met him I saw a big green box. It looked a lot like what Aries said he would be and I thought it could be him. But I wasn't sure. We had spent the whole day looking for him and it was about 1:45 so we had pretty much given up. But we followed him for about 20 minutes and decided it was the last chance we would get. But then we spent another 10 minutes trying to decide how to ask for the money. I have a really hard time trying to ask people anything, and since we weren't even sure it was him we were a little nervous. But finally James and Richard said something and he gave Richard the money.
After that we went back to Dealers Room again and looked around for a little while but we were getting pretty hungry for lunch/dinner. So we went back to Jame's car and I got my chicken katsu and we met up with Pervy James and went to CPK. The line to get in was supposedly 40 minutes, even though it really took an hour. And, to make the pizza took about half an hour. It was a long wait, and it ended up costing a lot but it was so good!! :DDDD
Setsu called and asked if we could meet at some balcony? But we didn't know where the balcony was so we just went up to the 2nd floor right above Artist Alley. While we were up there we pictochatted for a while and Peach and Daisy walked by. Since Peach is James' favorite character, they had to take a picture together~. After I took it Peach was like "Don't tell Mario ;DDDD" and we all thought it was the funniest thing~
After that we met up with Setsu and headed back to the hotel room. James and Richard intended to leave and expected to only have to pay half price because, they only stayed 2 of the days. But it turned out to cause a huge fight between everyone! Everyone was saying that James and Richard planned to do that and that because of them they would all have to pay more and that they were ignoring the policy that no matter how much days you go you pay the same price. But they never heard the policy before so they were like WTH. I was stuck in the room with James and Richard and Zach and Daniel. Later on they said they mostly blamed Richard and not James? Daniel was pretty cool about it but Richard and Zach kept kind of arguing about it and stuff.. It was really stressful and I kind of just wanted to leave and forget about it for a while but then I'd be abandoning James and Richard. I really didn't want to be involved :/
Because, I could see both people's points in the argument and I didn't want to have to take sides ;; We spent 2 and a half hours in that room just arguing about the prices and everything. In the end, Richard decided to pay his full amount but James wanted to only pay half. But later that night, Kaori and Richard worked it out somehow, still not sure what exactly happened. But at least things worked out okay I guess. It was so stressful =A=;; Uhm... after that I went to go pick Setsu up from the girls' room and looked at their doujin covers and then we left. The end! xD

So I'm sure that some of you have seen this, as it's been going around on facebook or livejournal or whatever you happen to read. Basically, it's a short essay answer about the topic "Is hell endothermic or exothermic?" I believe it started on bash.org
so, at this college there was an extra credit question "Is hell endothermic or exothermic"
this is what one kid wrote:
First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.
As for souls entering hell, lets look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell. Since, there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.
So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose (i.e.,Hell is exothermic).
Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over (i.e.,Hell is endothermic).
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given by Ms.Therese Banyan during my freshman year, "That it will be a cold night in hell before I go out with you," and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having a relationship with her, the second case cannot be true. Therefore, hell is exothermic.
the kid was the only one who got credit But I have a small problem, and I would like someone to confirm that I'm not crazy.... or that I forgot all of my chemistry within a short week of not having school.
Here's the problem:
So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose (i.e.,Hell is exothermic).
Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over (i.e.,Hell is endothermic). I'm not quite sure about the first paragraph, so I'll work on that later. First look at the second paragraph in the quote:
If Hell is the system (which can be assumed, because it is the part that we are studying), then the following is true: If hell freezes over, that means that heat is leaving the system (hell) and entering the surroundings (everything else), causing the system to drop in temperature to the point of freezing. By definition, an endothermic reaction is one that absorbs heat (more specifically, heat leaves the surroundings and enters the system), and an exothermic reaction is one that releases heat (heat leaves the system and enters the surroundings.) That would make the quoted process exothermic rather than endothermic.
As for the first part of the quote, I don't quite know what to make of it. It would seem that if temperature and pressure increases, that means that heat is entering from the surroundings (unless in an isolated system), then that means that it's endothermic. However, this leads to possibly a combustion reaction ("all hell breaks loose" could be seen as an explosion), which is actually exothermic.
Given the two situations, both reactions are exothermic, so reasoning that lacking a date with Ms. Banyan means that hell is exothermic is unnecessary.
...am I crazy? :x

Today I was taking a break from studying and browsing crunchyroll. They have a lot of movies that I've been wanting to see like "All About Lily Chou Chou" and "Welcome to Dongmakgol." Anyway while I was looking through the movies they had I found the impossible. There was a drama where the main character was sick with cancer (no surprise) but---! The main character was a guy! I thought that wasn't allowed in dramas or something *not really* XD; It's always the girl who gets sick and dies o_o;; So yeah I was surprised. The title is "Sukoshi wa, ongaeshi ga dekitakana" (少しは、恩返しができたかな)
"Ewing's sarcoma is different from cancers of the same kind. It occurs in the bones and flesh, and spreads through the blood. It is a malignant tumor common in children below 10, and in teenagers. It is rarer than cancer..."
Kitahara Kazunori was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma in the fall of his second year in high school, and thereafter spent a year and 10 months battling the disease. Although he studied hard for the university examinations and was successfully admitted to his first choice, [the prestigious] Tokyo University, he only managed to visit it for a day before passing away.
After that, last January [i.e. 2005], Kazunori's mother compiled the thoughts he had left behind and published it as a book, and it was adapted into this drama.
Even as Kazunori had to fight his serious illness, he received support from his friends, school teachers and family members, and had warm relations with many people. This drama illustrates the 1 year and 10 months young Kazunori persevered together with the people around him."
The main guy is from Arashi (the one who was in Letters from Iwo Jima) so I'm surprised I didn't hear about it before. I think I'll watch it after finals week is over. But, it's not complete.. only 3 episodes are on crunchyroll.
My dad was watching Letters from Iwo Jima tonight while I was studying for my math final. War movies are distracting. I didn't really look too much but from what I listened to it was really sad. I glanced over a few times and I really loved the way it was filmed. Except since I wasn't watching it with all my attention, I kind of forgot the names of some of the people. The one white guy they captured~ When they read the letter from his mom it was really sad to me ;A; Overall it seemed really well done though. I just don't know if I could handle watching all of it ;; I flinch easily and violence isn't really my thing. (@_____@);;

JRock Revolution was this weekend but I didn't go because I couldn't get tickets. I only wanted to go the first day because I don't like the bands from the second day.. I'm half glad I didn't go and half regretting not going. It sounded fun, but sometimes people at stuff like this get on my nerves (@___@);
I regret not going to Fanime too, but there's nothing I could do about that ;; Kind of too far for me.
Lately I've been into pretty ghetto music. Like Brian Joo and SE7EN and Bi/Rain. I think it started when I watched a parody on Bi on the Colbert Report. It was so funny.. but a lot of Koreans were kind of offended by it. I think its just that our ideas of humor are different so~ ;;
Yeah. Anyway here's the important stuff

Since the last time I was active around here I got a tablet. It's fun. I also got a cosplay website but I don't update it all too much. You can sign the BBS though. Japanese language site but the BBS you can sign in English too. xD wow my grammar sucks.
Finals are this week. SAT Subjects the day after. Not prepared for anything.
I became addicted to House and Cold Case. Mostly Cold Case. There are two showings tomorrow on CBS. They're reruns but I've only seen about 10 episodes so it's okay.

"Host"보고싶어
한국하도일본영화이에요.
구래두,R이라서,호자몯가요.
영화는"Horror-Comedy"이에요.

Anyway:
(HOPEFULLY) CORE CLASSES:
-AP Physics
-AP Calculus BC
-AP English Literature
-Government and Economics [might be honors?]
* If I don't get into AP Physics I'll be taking normal CAMS Physics and AP Calculus AB :/ I better get in or I'll cry D:
DURING-SCHOOL ELECTIVES:
-Japanese 7-8, Period 6
-AP Statistics, Period 7
-School Annual, Period 8
AFTER-SCHOOL ELECTIVES:
-Drawing and Painting 3-4, Period 10
...:x I should have chosen at least one college course because I haven't ever taken classes at CSUDH, but then I wouldn't be able to take AP Statistics. Ideally I would have been taking either FRN101 Beginning French or PSY101 Understanding Human Behavior, but French was during my Japanese class and Psych was during my statistics class. It was really hard to choose between AP Statistics and College Psych. But Richard says there's no point in taking college Psych if I'm not going to go into Psych when I go to college, and that AP Statistics will probably be more useful because you use statistics in more majors. Maybe next semester I can convince Baker to let me have a full schedule and I can take some CSUDH class 5th period? But there's nothing really interesting :/
I think I should have joined Anatomy/Physiology instead of School Annual, but ever since I was in freshman year I wanted to work on the yearbook. I could have during freshman year, but then my mom told me not to ;; And then sophomore year I was taking AP Psychology, and this year 8th period is my Japanese class. Since it's my last year at CAMS, I think I should take at least one class that I REALLY want to take.. right? ...
Rethinking having UCLA as a dream college. I still like it though.
