LONG AND RANTY .___.
WHEEEE. DORAMA SUCKS YOU KNOW.
Okay so I'll start out with the first day of El Camino classes. My mom and I were looking kind of lost so this guy came up to help me find my class, and he did, and my mom talked about her parking ticket and I went off to class and she went to the library to wait for me. SIMPLE AS THAT RIGHT? Apparently not.
A couple of days ago I received a message on myspace:
"Subject: Hey
Body: hey cutie i remember u from elcamino a few weeks ago :). ive been hopin to see u around lol. im the guy in the wheelchair who helped u and ur mom that one day. well ill talk to u soon kid. ;)
mikey"
So I kind of just skimmed it and thought, "Oh we never introduced ourselves! XD!" (which is why I assumed he called me cutie... I'm used to people who don't know my name calling me some nickname or something)
So I just replied:
"Haha hi :D
Wow I didn't expect you to find me~ haha
Well maybe we'll see each other at elco~
May I add you? :D

So it seemed all okay and whatever. Those of you who know me know that I use :D at the end of almost every sentence. And that I like making friends, so it seemed perfectly normal to me.
(I just realized for the past three paragraphs I've started with the word 'so' XD!)
Anyway he replied:
"hehe of course cutie :) i hope its ok for me to say this but i like lolita asian girls :) and im glad ur a lolita girl hehe
mikey"
At this point I thought "WTH" but then I just was like "whatever guys can like lolita too so it doesn't matter" (Wouldn't want to be sexist after all, right?) But I didn't want to make things weird, so I just said something REALLY REALLY GENERIC:
"lol lolita is fun but expensive.
I'm jealous of lolita girls.
They're like ;djk;jfakf;afj rich.
Rich enough for digital SLR.
*envyyyyyyy* "
Because cameras are always less awkward than lolita girls! Right? XD!
Well he ended up sending me another message right before I sent the one about lolita girls that said:
"gotta go text me ill be able to chat on my phone "
And of course he left me his cell phone number. To which I replied simply, "I don't have a phone." I had to go out to dinner, so I kind of forgot about it and when I came back, two messages were waiting for me in my inbox.
"Subject: :)
Body:hey cutie pie miss me much :P"
The second one read:
"Subject:...sorry.
Body: ..."
At that point I realized he was... probably hitting on me. And so I turned to Richard and Ricardo and Sakura to help me out. They basically told me what I had planned to tell him in the first place, which was to let him know I don't want to go out with him. I felt a little guilty because I always feel guilty well.. rejecting people.
But I knew I had to do SOMETHING about it so I said, "Um.. I don't think my boyfriend would like it if you called me cutie." To which he replied, "im very srry..". Just so that things wouldn't be too awkward if we saw each other on campus, I replied "It's okay." and thought that was all done and over with.
BUT NO OF COURSE NOT BECAUSE YOUR LIFE IS A DORAMA AKENON DID YOU FORGET ALREADY?? (sorry that didn't make any sense..)
After, he replied, "well if u was single that would be awsome"
AND OMG YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT a;fdjdaf;ja So I freaked out and didn't say anything and went to school and ranted to my friends (Ricardo and Katie) about it.
So then I go home and I get a message:
"Subject: This is weird but..
Body: i dont remember writing that last message about being single in fact i went to sleep at 10 30"
YEAH RIGHT WHAT HAPPENED? HE SLEEPWALKD TO HIS COMPUTER AND TOLD ME IT WOULD BE GREAT IF I WERE SINGLE? YEAH OF COURSE. I was like WTH but Richard told me that he was probably just embarrassed.
Lucky for me Richard has been very understanding, especially considering he's my ride home from class. I was kind of expecting him to get mad or be all emo or something but he just used it as an excuse to explain that I really AM cute and should stop being so self-conscious XD! I'm really glad because I wasn't sure how he would react to the whole thing.
I, meanwhile, have no idea what to do.
YOU KNOW IT WOULD BE NICE IF I COULD RECOGNIZE WHEN A GUY IS HITTING ON ME. Richard told me that just the fact that he went to help me find my class meant he liked me. OMGWTH?? I NEVER KNEW THESE THINGS.
I DON'T NEED DORAMA IN MY LIFE KTHXBYE.

Today I wore my lolita dress to school. It's okay quality. Well kind of bad. But for me it's okay. Being in school with lolita makes me want to dress like that daily... too bad I'm poor and can't sew well ;o; I really want that Angelic Pretty lucky bag that ended its auction yesterda but it was $200 and I only have $9.
Oh by the way this is what my dress was:
One day I'll definitely wear lolita daily!!! Hopefully by the end of winter break That's my new goal, but I don't think I'll be able to do it - too much time and money to finish my goal by then, you know? .___.; But maybe I'll be able to if my mom helps me sew a lot XDDD I just need a few blouses (I have a plain black and a plain white that work, but I'd like some frilly ones too from French Toast and maybe sew one. xD), plenty of skirts (skirts are easiest yay!) and probably I'll want a few JSKs as well. Oh and petticoats and the like. ^^;
But my new pattern book actually looks pretty simple, so hopefully it will be easier to sew some things. I really really really want that jumperskirt. Katie says the model looks like me but I don't think so. She's thinner. And her face looks kind of different (@x@);;
Art class got somewhat better because I don't have to sit next to the super-pro girl anymore x.x; I mean she seemed nice and everthing but everytime I looked at her drawing board I felt like dying. And I met someone! He went to Anime Expo too so that's why he looked familiar lol xD;
There's a place online called "mydeathspace.com" and it's a place where it lists people who died and it gives the reason of their death and then their birthday and deathday or something and the link to their myspace. At first I thought it was going to be some weird emo thing like deadjounral but then I was really shocked when I found out what it actually was. Out of curiosity I clicked a couple of profiles.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT. In a WEIRD CREEPY MORBID SCARY way.... it's kind of fascinating. Some people leave those RIP messages like "You'll always be remembered" - and then for some people.. a lot of the younger ones who died really, their friends still talk to them like they're alive. They'll just come by every once in a while and it's like they never even died.
Creepy, isn't it?
I know, I have no life.
But now I'm kind of curious what people would say if I died. It's one of those things you'll never be able to find out, because to find out you have to die, and if you die you can't see what they say. Maybe it's just life teasing us, and we're meant to never ever ever find out. But who knows. I wonder if I died if people would still talk to me or send me email messages or give me comments or something like that. I can't figure out if that's really nice or really creepy to me. Maybe a little bit of both.

PHOTOSHOOT... image heavy
So we had our photoshoot on Saturday night. Didn't finish though. We never got to our bodyline outfits! And now I have a brand new dress I need to use as well.. haha. Well anyway here's the pre-photoshoot stuff...

Kathy came for the week.
Sat: Obon. Taiko. Odori. Went home and played PIU. Looked at GLB Extra 2. And gosuroris.
Sun: Church. JTown. Hapa exhibit. Saw Iseri's sign in the museum o_o; Bought things. Saw a band dressed in Tripp. Almost bought a parasol. But didn't. Got my first Dr. Grip pencil :]
Mon: Mall with my sister and Richard. Bought JSK + blouse! Mei spent a lot. Richard came over. Also played PIU. Lots of PIU.
Tues: Went to school. And found out my art credits = gone. Incredibly obsessive PIU in the morning. Knott's Berry Farm. Chicken. Lots of chicken. Bought a bonnet. Ride back = chotto urusai.
Wed: Watched "...ing". Went to 98 cent store. Bought almost $50 worth of stuff. Pier with Richard, Sarah, James, Norma. Cheap photos. El Torito. Sarah came to my house. Super Bust a Move 2.
Thurs: Walking. Gameland. Fancy+. Bought things. Lolita things. And some pencils. Save-on. Couldn't find bubbles. Walgreens. Bought bubbles and Easymac for the morning. Kings Hawaiian. Bought cake and muffins. Ate the muffins. Taco Bell. Bought drink. Got Ducky a cute ducky. A purple ducky. Took 11 tries on the dispenser thing. 2 dukys for Ducky. Red dog thing for Richard. Kept the rest for ourselves. Went to dentist. Curry House. Pillow fight. Photoshop Purikura.
Fri: Woke up at 3:18 AM. Left house at 4:16 AM. Got to airport at 4:45 AM. Waited in line until 5:30 AM. Left airport. Got back to house at 6:00 AM. [end trip]

My best friend from Bay Area is coming to visit!
It took forever for things to work out
First my family was going to go to Monterey
Then I was going to visit her in Monterey
And then she invited me to stay with her
And take a flight back later
But then we weren't going to Monterey anymore
Then she was going to come here
But she said her mom wouldn't let her
Then I was going to come up there
But then I had a dentist and school appointment
Then she was going to come here
Then driving lessons interfered
Then she cancelled driving lessons
And now she's coming!
I'm so happy!
We're going to have so much fun~

I joined a livejournal community
It's called icons100
The goal is to make 100 icons
based on a certain movie, show, or character~
50 are based on themes provided by the community
And 50 are artist choice
There are 10 weeks to complete the challenge

I spent a full 3 days on them haha
But for me I usually make icons faster
So it means I spent a lot of time on them!
