   Well, well, well.

Time: 2:17PM Sunday 18 July

I'd very much appreciate it if you would take the time to visit and reply to my new thread on Evolution.

Anyway, what have I been doing? Well, not much. Yesterday, I finally got around to watching Finding Nemo, which is a gorgeous movie. I don't know how many of you Americans/Brits have seen it, but it is a great movie. And then I spent an hour watching all the bonus features, lol.

Last night we went to the cinemas and I saw King Arthur. A very good movie, in my humble opinion. It looked good, the storyline was good and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Does anyone know if it was actually factually based though?

When we got home, I saw the tail end of Men In Black, and I watched the first... 40 minutes or so of Predator 2.

This morning I woke up and got online. I got off around 1:00pm and went outside for half an hour, just with my hockey-stick and ball. I also think that I am going to need to get a new hockey stick. My current one is getting a bit beaten up. I'll have to ask my dad about it though.

Also, I heard today that Tony resigned about two weeks ago. I think it's sad that it came to that. He's a good guy.

This morning I spoke with Radaghast for about an hour and a bit, and we have chucked together a plotline for the RPG. Slowly, but surely, we're working on it. We'll probably speak tommorrow and we might start drafting up a signup thread and stuff. At the moment, it is a highly action and mission based RPG. Hopefully we'll get some good interest in it. That's all I have to say for now folks. Oh, except for this: If you're any good at webdesign, head over to CRH's and check what he has to say about a possible upcoming competition.

This is just a quick post. Just a fill-in, I'll put up a proper one later. But does anyone here think that I should try my hand at some Fanart? I don't even know where the hell I'd get a scanner from, but it'd be interesting. Especially as I am 95% sure that I can't draw.

:p

Edit: I've just realised that as long as I've had this layout, nobody has been able to read my post headings. Highlight and read them!

   Boating...

Comment | Permalink

Time: 12:40 PM Friday 16 July

I want to get my post in early so it will be up for as long as possible. Anyway, you get to hear about the fishing I did yesterday. My dad owns this 23 footer, so we went and got it from the storage place, where I learned how to set up a trailer, and what you need to do for it. That was the first thing I learnt yesterday. Then, we had to do a complicated maneuvre to get the trailer out of the carpark place.

Once we got to the Launching ramp, I learnt how to...dismount a boat from a trailer, and exactly how difficult it is to maintain control of it. I had to stand on the jetty, with a rope attatched to either end of the boat, and try to stop it from bashing the jetty when it slid off the trailer. And you see, to get it off, the trailer is reversed down the ramp, and braked hard, and the boat slides off. Fast, too. >_< But anyway, that was new. Sadly, we didn't leave until about 12:30PM, and the wind was getting up. We were out for about half an hour [I mean, out fishing] but it isn't much fun just staying still... because the swell rocks the boat. I started to feel sick, so we turned around and drove back. Well, actually, I got to drive back, and around, for about an hour. We took her out left of the harbour, and went for a bit of a run, and then we went into the marina/harbour thing and dad made me drive up and down all the jetties looking for his old boat. It was a bit hairy, especially because I needed to turn this 23 foot boat around at the end of each 'aisle'. But, the driving was fun and good experience. And then, we came home. We were going to go out again today, but I didn't really want to, and I also wasn't feeling up to scratch this morning. So we stayed home. Thats all I did yesterday.

Oh, and in response to the OB thread "Can you speak Japanese?" I'll get rid of my spamminess here;

No.

Time: 8:28AM Thursday July 15

Hey. I've meant to put up an mO post for the past few days. So I'm just going to clip in something that I emailed a good friend of mine. Synopsis of my time so far.

I may as well start from Tuesday when, as you know I watched Kill Bill and Shrek 2. I didn't think Shrek 2 was as good as the first one, and I laughed more at Shrek. S2 felt a bit...weak in comparison, whereas Shrek was more sharp, I think. Shrek 2 had it's moments, but it was a poor sequel to Shrek. Kill Bill was pretty good, though only about half as good as I expected. I'd give it 4-4.5 stars. So, it's good but don't see it as being that great. Anyway I watched Shrek 2 on Tuesday Arvo, and Kill Bill that night. I also had a Magnum Vicecream, which are the nicest things this side of planet Candyland lol. Yesterday I sat at home for a while, chatting to people, doing email etc. In particular I chatted with Radaghast about the whole RPG idea...and this may actually come to fruition ladies and gents...

Then I went shopping with my dad. I had a list of stuff I needed to get while I was up here. I got new shinpads for hockey [my old ones had the foam worn off at the bottom, and cut into the top of my feet when I played. And I mean cut], new socks, some shaftguard for my hockey stick [which is a plastic tape that you wrap around the main part of the stick] though I probably could have done with it when I got it lol, a new hockey bag, some new jeans, a new jacket, a jumper and a new pair of shoes. Then we went out to my dads boat [he's got it in storage] and flushed the engine as we were planning to take it out today. I don't know if we are though. See, last night we didn't get to bed until like midnight or something, because we watched Out of Time. Then I woke up at 4AM with a blocked nose, and was up for half an hour ;_;. Oh well. It is a lovely day outside anyway.

And, aside from the bit about Radaghast, thats how my email went and how my days have been. I hope you enoyed your visit here.

   The End has no End...

Time: 12:12PM Monday 12 July

I have been on here for hours, heh. Chatted to heaps of people. I have been chatting with Radaghast for about an hour and a bit...and Raiha, and KoTR. And with some other IRL friends of mine. I intended to write up a really long thing, but I only have a ltitle bit to say.

1) Kill Bill is sitting downstairs, waiting for me to go and watch it...yippee!

2) Balancing several chat windows is wearing.

3) Cold Mountain is a very enjoyable movie.

4) An RPG between myself and Radaghast may be in the works...

5) I have posted more in the past few hours than I have in the past month on OB.

Today is a good day...and it's going to get better.

Mood: Happy.

I posted a reply to the "Sex-Why?" thread. Which I linked here. So, Hello if you came from there.

I am at my dads now. I can't actually think of much to say. Sorry to create this pointless update, but hey, at least you know I'm alive, right?

Got a hole in my head...

Comment | Permalink

Time: 1:30PM Thursday 8 July

I am rather disappointed with the lack of replies and interest in Tony's RPG, and would suggest that some more people go and check it out, as it is an innovative and highly interesting RPG with enormous potential.

Got it?

Also, I don't think that I will sign up for KAV2. I think I have as much chance as anyone else, but I have read through a lot of KAV1 and just don't feel up to it. Plus the fact that I would like to focus on Torment and Hero more, and might even think of coming up with my own RPG over the hols. I don't want or need to overcommit myself at this stage.

Anyway, I am not on the hockey team, and couldn't give a rat's arse. lol. I don't care- I'm over it. Waste of time, but it doesn't matter. Also, we may have lost our hockey match last night, but I scored a goal, so I am happy. That is my last match until the Narrogin games at the end of our school holidays.

I am going to my dads on Sunday, and I'll be there all holidays, but the really annoying thing is, unless I buy some R/W cd's soon, I won't have any of my music with me. Which really bugs me. I listen to my music as often as I can- which is an inconvenience, when I keep it on my computer. Heh.

Aah well. I'll be online heaps up there- which should allow me to participate a lot in Torment and Hero. Provided, of course, that I do get into them.

Today is my second last day of school for this term and has been pretty enjoyable so far. Nothing in particular to report, but we have been looking at course selection things for both University and kind of planning... where we'll need to be for next year. It is scary- we just got loaded up with booklets and crap, and we went through a bit of it...but it is still overwhelming, especially as I have no idea what I actually want to do. At the moment, I am aiming for something in Media and Business. Namely Economics, Mass Media, Marketing Areas, and Digital Media. You know, all that kind of stuff. I am interested in it.

I expect to be reading a lot during the holidays, heh.

   Oh, this is gorgeous...

Time: 11:01AM Wednesday 7 July

I love this. Much thanks to John for the link. Priceless.

Last night I didn't get home until 8PM. Errk. Coz, that Busselton State Team thing? Well, we had to go there for a training session...and whilst hockey normally has 13 players, our team has 15. So, during training me and a friend got taken aside- we'll probably be off, as we are the 'weakest players on the team'. Which hurts, but hey, it's true. Plus, it doesn't sound like the trip would have been much fun anyway- very regimented it sounds. So, we'll get a phone call tonight...but I might turn it down anyway.

Doesn't help that 10-15mins into training a guy smacked a ball, which hit me in the chin, and then smacked into my shoulder. No damage to my chin [thank God for mouthguards] but I have a seriously sore lump on my shoulder. It really hurts. >_<

Oh well, a good training session if nothing else. Tonights indoors session will be my last hockey game for... about two and a half weeks. Also, this is my last week of school. Yay ^_^

That debate on open markets [did I mention it ever?], well, we had it today. Didn't go too badly, for me anyway, and I am happy with my work on it. Better than anyone elses, at any rate.

Thats all I have to say.I will be checking the KAV2 site today, might sign up. I have already signed up for Torment and Hero.

Haven't been online for two days, so I'll check it out now.

Mood: Okies.

Macaroni Man ~_^

Comment | Permalink

Time: 6:02PM Sunday 4 July

Just a quickie. That... man, is from a site I found. I won't give you the link to it, but know that the secret is in the name. I'm sure an Australian would probably pick it up. Only we have that particular... event.

Also, I've been led to believe that today is Independence Day. Hope all you Americans have a great time, and eat something, preferably chocolate, for me.

:p

I am very happy with the final result of this site now. Very happy. In other news, I signed up for Tony's RPG, which you will want to check out.

Nothing else to report. Aside form the fact I whittled away my time today and did little to no homework.
