   My Day...

[6:42AM, February 22nd 2004]

Well. Here I am folks. What to say this time?

Ok. Yesterday, I awoke at about 6:10AM. I can’t rightly remember what I did until 6:50 when I hopped online though. Anyway, I surfed mO and OB for a while. OB is really growing on me now. I even tried out the Geisha skin, but switched back to Liquid ASAP. Bit too purple and bright for me. I chatted with Mitch, Cloricus…. I think that was all.

Mitch wrote up a hilarious mO entry yesterday. Very good stuff. Also, you will now find that my links to other people work! Thanks very much to Justin who informed me that I needed to put the ‘http://’ in front of the address for it to work. Also, thanks to Semjaza Azazel for helping me construct the table which allows my Mona Baron and Shoutbox to be side-by-side.

Anyway, yesterday. Well, seeing as I am going to be away from Tuesday until Friday, I am going to miss my indoor-hockey and needed to arrange a replacement. So I rang various people, and one of them put me onto a guy who lives only a few houses away from me. So, at about 10AM he came over, and I did my best to show him the rules and stuff. I reckon that he’ll go well. Then at about 11, I felt peckish for some jellybeans. We had some here, but… I guess I kind of wanted to go for a walk. So I ambled down into town, grabbed my jellybeans and came home. Got back at 12AM. My damn watch battery died while I was down there too =\.

Nice jelly beans though. Heh.

My mum wanted me to do up an ad for some stuff she wanted to sell, so I did that up on the comp. I also uploaded all of her Electric Light Orchestra songs, as well as her Tchaikovsky CD. I love ELO! Plus, I have a growing classical collection. Next to my rock, pop and other kinds.

Eclectic, huh? ~_^

Then a friend rang up so we went over to his place at about 2PM. We sat at his computers and played games/chatted. I played Caesar III and he played UT2003. It was fun.

We stayed there for 3 and a half hours.

Then I came home, and hadn’t done any packing/studying/chores/anything all day. So, today is going to be a busy one, but I can manage. Easily.

Once again, I’ll remind you that I am away from Tuesday to Friday this upcoming week, OK?

Mood: Cheerful. I am always cheerful lately.
Song: Dance the Trance by 303-Reactor.
Births: 1732: George Washington, first president of the USA
Deaths: 1512: Amerigo Vespucci, Italian navigator after whom America is named.
Occasions: Feast day of St Baradates, St Margaret of Cortona, and Saints Thalassius and Limnaeus.
On this day in…: 1879: US storekeeper F W Woolworth opened his first 'five-and-ten-cent' store in Utica, New York.

[Lots of American stuff today, huh? Also,
1889: North and South Dakota, Montana, and Washington were created US states. Helluva lot of US related history today.]
