Afternoon! I just wanted to do a quick post before I rearranged my bedroom. Blas and I were sitting in bed this morning discussing what we could do to maximize the semi-small room we have. He came up with an idea, so we are going to do it today!
Last night, I used the DVD burner in my computer for the first time to get some of the inuyasha episodes I have off of here. It worked brilliantly! Just took about four hours to do. Eh, all I know is the DVD works perfect in my PS2 so I can watch my movies and stuff on my TV instead of watching them on this itty bitty 12 inch screen, hehe.
Off to clean! I'm going to take pictures as well today and hopefully post them later. Give you all a glimpse into my boring ass life :)

Howl's Moving Castle was a really good movie. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but it was amazing. Everyone fell asleep so I stayed awake to see the ending. I had a lot of questions since I hadn't seen it before, but it was really good :) That little fire was a pistol, hehe.

For some reason I have been wanting to get back into drawing and writing again on a full time basis. I figured a good start would be offering to beta someone's fanfiction. The girl asked for replies, I introduced msyelf and gave a brief background. I was a journalism major, I picked up on some things in my classes before I was forced to quit!
I picked up one of my old notebooks and founds some of my old drawings. I suck even worse now than I did, lol. It's brilliant. The only thing I ever did draw that came out super good was a picture of Kohaku from Inuyasha. It was a cell from the manga, of just the side of his face. He had his exterminator mask on (which I paid a little too much attention to detail on). The drawing was smaller than the palm of my hand. Loved how it turned out, sent it to a friend of mine in Berlin. (We used to do drawings and send them back and forth. Some of her drawings I want to incorporate into my own for my tattoos that I am too much of a wussy to get!)
Off to go watch Howel's Moving Castle with my boyfriend and Jeremy. We haven't been able to sit down and watch it without the kids being here, and they would like to see the movie in it's fullness without interruption. So I am stuck watchign it with them, hehe.

I am so tired today. I have been on the go since 7 this morning, running on maybe three or four hours sleep. I had to drive 30 minutes away to pick up a friend of mine and her kids, drive back so she could take care of some business here, watch her kids for an hour, drive her all over town and then back out to her house. So I've spent a total of about three hours on the road today. I have her son here with me so I can get him to school in the morning. We are eating soba now! I love my wireless internet connection. I can sit here at the kitchen table to make sure he doesn't get into anything. He's watching that Dora spin off. Diego I think it is called. I don't really watch a lot of daytime kids tv since blas's kids are all in school. Then we watch Billy and Mandy when they get home. They are such cartoon network heads!
I have about two hours before Blas's son gets home, so time to keep my friend's son entertained! I'll see everyone laters :)

I had the strangest dream last night. I was watching American Idol (which I haven't done since last year), and there was this drag queen that was a contestant and he was singing "Sorry" by Madonna, but looked like Christina Aguilera until he took off his wig and then he looked like Anthony Stewart Head. He went from Christina to GILES! Talk about a shock to the system.
Then to make things all better, in a a way, I have had the song Sally That Girl stuck in my head. Oh yeah, some classic Gucci Crew.
Advent Children comes out today! I get to bug my boyfriend to buy it for me :)
I went around, visited sites, commented in some. Reno, I couldn't find the box to post a comment on your page, sorry :( I am excited about FFVII too! ::squeals:: I can't wait to see it in English!!!
Ok, I'm out! It's too darn early to be awake!

After a lot of fighting, I finally got rid of that darn DSL modem and switched to cable. I love my connection :) It's faster than the DSL, and cheaper!
Then I spent a while with my router that we bought. I finally got pissed off with it and told Blas he could do it himself. He got it, and has it working. Now I can go all over the house and go online! I am sitting in my big comfy chair in the living room right now :) And my cat is sitting with me.
I have to get my caserole made. I promised to make a broccoli casserole for a party today, and I need to get that done. Fun fun fun.
I'll post more later when I get a little bit more energy! It may be almost 9AM, but I was up until almost 2 getting this router going!

I was moving stuff around in my room and I found my jacket from when I went to a con as Arisa from Fruits Basket. All nicely painted with the writing on the front and sleeve, complete with the butterfly on the back. Left in the sun for a week to give it an aged appearance. I am not sure if I should keep the ratty thing (it's gotten messed up from age). It does bring back memories though ::sigh::

I stayed up late to watch Inuyasha, but leave it to me to be ill and spend half of the episode MIA (don't ask). I am pissed about that. Time for bed I guess, now that I am all disappointed. I Haven't watched Inuyasha in ages. Pooh.

I made shrimp fried rice last night for supper, and just made some more for lunch with the left over white rice. I am stuffed to the brim. I am in a rice phase, so if anyone has any good rice recipes gimme a buzz :) I hope the boys are ready for a week of nothing but rice meals for dinner, lol. I already have a friend sending me a recipe for Mexican rice and I can't wait, lol.
Sorry, I'm in a rice phase, and playing around in the kitchen. I'm having a blast. I just need some better knives...

Hi all! How have you been for the past few days? Sorry I haven't been to any sites really, but this weekend has been busier than ever. That, and the asthma attacks late last week that have been keeping me down...grrr!! ::shakes fist at the twisted gods that thought asthma would be a funny joke to play on the human race::
Saturday was house fixing day! Jeremy and I ended up pulling up the last of the carpeting (that the cat thought would be a fine place to pee when he was too lazy to cross the house to the litter box) and bleached out the area it was in. No more cat smell, hopefully no more asthma attacks. I found out it is only when I have mercrutio with me I have the attacks, but I am not getting rid of my cat. He is my baby. Maybe if I try to keep him inside (which will be like trying to pull a fish out of the tank and tellling them to breathe) it wouldn't be as bad. And forget giving him a bath. I like myself scratch free, thank you very much. Oh, and then Jeremy fixed the kitchen sink finally. We have cold water again! :) Next is the hot water heater. It is 20 odd years old, heats water like nothing other. But unfortunately the hot water doesn't last more than 30 minutes at a time. We are SOL if we all need to get showers in the morning, lol. Jeremy usually gets stuck with the cold water LOL
Of course, yesterday was Easter, even though half of my household doesn't celebrate it. I dragged Blas to my aunt's house for a little bit before we went to his cousin's for a while. I had to see my cousin Halie. She is adorable! She's probably about five months old now, if not a little more. It's funny, she doesn't like grass. After we went to blas's cousins I went back to my aunt's and they had halie out on a picnic blanket in the front yard (since the party seemed to move outside) and somehow Halie ended up off of it. She pulled up about four handfulls of grass before she realized where she was and spazzed. She wouldn't get back on the blanket because it meant having to crawl back through the grass. So she would look at all of us around her, pleading for us to pick her up. She wasn't moving, lol.
It was strange. I haven't really celebrated easter since I was 13. And Jeremy is a Jehovas Witness so he has never celebrated it. I guess it was more something for my mom and blas to enjoy, since I don't even really remember why we were celebrating. Oops!
Well, I don't really have anything else to say. Other than never have an ice cream and have a beer soon afterwards. I got home and I was sick as hell.
If I think of anything else to post later I will!
