Busy day
Unfortunately, I have a busy day ahead of me. I still have to finish the laundry I had started last night. Damn my boyfriend and impromptu wallyworld trips. But I got to see Eric and Beida and talk about videogames, so that was good. I love having a friend that works in Game Stop!
Today I get to take the boys to football practice to get their pictures taken. The breakup is still fresh, so I don't know how they are going to take having someone else starting to take them places instead of mommy. Zach is 10 and my boyfriend is going to try to explain all to him. He should understand. But the six year old is probably going to think "oooh! Another aunt!" I wonder how he is going to take possible step mommy instead of aunt, lol. The babies should be fine. His little girl shared a cookie with me once, and he said that she doesn't share her food with anyone. I guess I should feel special.
We are still trying to figure out what we are going to do for the boys when they stay for the weekends. First of all I need to get a new matress for the futon so they can sleep. It sucks only having a two bedroom house. The house is damn huge, but there are only two bedrooms, and the apartment that we started for me before I graduated high school fell flat and ended up being a storage place for my dad and his tools. Unfortunately when he left it became storage for thing my mother pulls out of my boxes to send to charity. Because she can possibly use them, but they end up down there never to be used again. It is like a black hole. Once something goes down there, it doesn't come back out. Except the cats. They find the boxes fun for hiding!
Anyone in the South Florida area interested in a half breed siamese cat, let me know please! There is a male and a female not spoken for yet out of five and I have to get rid of them. Even their mother, so if anyone wants a full blooded siamese cat Roxanne is up for grabs too. I don't want to get rid of them, but I don't really have any other choices. They require more time and attention than I have to give. That, and my boyfriend and I are getting a pitt bull pretty soon. Mercrutio can hide, but I can pretty much guarantee that Roxanne and the kittens will probably pester him until he eats them.
This post ended up being a whole lot of nothing. May as well continue with it!
What I started with about the futon, we need a place for the boys to sleep when the come over for the weekends. I also have to find a converter box for the TV with the RCA jacks so I can hook up the PS2 and XBox 360 when we get it. I already have the PS2 in the bedroom. I am playing FFVII right now and sometimes I'll figure out solutions to puzzles in my sleep so I keep the game on my TV in the bedroom. I would just move my tv out there for them, but the thing weighs damn near 100 lbs. The only reason I got it was for the RCA jacks built right in. So that will be fun to figure out. I also need to dig out some of my old toys for the babies when they come. They won't be staying the night as much like the boys will, so it won't be as hard to figure out. My b/f and his ex-wife had a nice long talk last night, and he said he has a feeling that eventually we may possibly end up being friends. She may be snappy at first (hell, I would be too) but she is warming up with the idea.
Of course all of that is piled on top of a bunch of other crap that has been piling for a while. Before I moved back here my life was so simple. Go to work, come home, spend time with family, go to sleep, repeat. Over the last two months everything has gotten so damn complicated. I need a break to just breathe.
