I am a weirdie
Have you ever gotten into one of those moods where you just want to clean everything? I have been in one of those since yesterday, and the only reason I stopped last night was because I had to go to sleep if I wanted to wake up at a decent hour to get Blas and Jerm-nuts to work.
I have been having a ton of trouble with the bank I use, but I got a statement yesterday telling me I had 30.01 in there instead of the 8 bucks they told me I had (after I deposited 40 and they took nearly all of it for "fees"). So I had to find my check register so I could update it, but it was nowhere to be found. That is what starte it all. I still have a bunch of crap in boxes from moving back here from my dad's. Just stuff I have no clue what to do with. So my mission today is to empty those boxes and find homes for the stuff inside. Or get rid of it if there is no puppose for the item. Just dump the boxes off at one of the charaties here in town. If I can't use it, there has to be someone out there that can get use out of whatever it is. Especially clothes. Since my weight has gone crazy and I lost a bunch (thank you vitamin B50 complex) I have given most of my clothes away. I am the type of person who can't stand to see someone needy. I grew up never wanting for anything, so it breaks my heart to see people who don't have all of the things I had, or have to break their back to get it. Like in Winter Haven, I used to sneak food from the kitchen out to a homeless couple that I befriended after they started staying in front of the theatre a lot. I even conned my boss into letting them into the theatre when it was cold so they could get warm. I always used my comp tickets to get them into a movie and bought them something to eat so they would have a little bit of a break from the life they lived. They became good friends of mine, and then one day they just disappeared. I miss those two. I can't remember their names right off hand, but they were probably the sweetest people I have met in a long time. They didn't sit on the bench and beg from people like most of the homeless there did. And they had the cutest dog. A little thing that looked like a pit bull and german shepard mix.
Oh, a little tidbit, did you know that in Dade county (Miami and I want to say Ft. Lauderdale) it is illegal to have pits unless you had them before the law was made? And if you have them from before the law, you have to have a sign on your fence that is state approved that says "beware, (whatever breed) pit is in this yard". It is insane! I just brought this up because I am extremely lucky. A guy that works with my boyfriend is bringing down five pits from Alabama and selling us one. Pure white! Blas wants to name it Isis after a pit one of his cousins used to have...I hope it has a pleasant personality...I love doggies, but I am so much of a cat person.
Alright, now that I have bored everyone with that meaningless rant that jumped from one subject to another, I am going to get a shower and start to get things done today!
Again, thanks to those who put up the ribbon. Together, we can make a difference!!
Hugs,
V.
