Along with Totenengel, I'm also writing a backstory on the story on Earth about the Invasion of San Francisco and the Battle of the Bloodlands. This won't get in the way of Totenengel, I can multi-task.

   PSAT IS OVER!!! AND CAL KICKED WASHINGTON'S ARSE!
Wow, what an unusually good day today. Not only were PSATs easy, but Berkeley beat Washington in overtime! No miracles for Washington fans, I'm afraid. Oh well. Go Bears!

P.S. I need to get a Trenchcoat, a black cloth, a patch with the German Flag on it, and a blue wig... you'll find out why. =P

Timeline
(Unknown- approximately 40 billion years ago)-Universe Created

(Unknown)-Guardian Angels assigned to Planets.

(Unknown)- The Betrayal- Lucifer creates Arcane and begins his own Empire of Angels against the Greater One known as "Demons."

1458- Thorronam begins using arcane- Destroys own planet when Arcane experiment involving Gravity fails.

1462- Engel hears of this and allows Thorronam to be Reassigned to his planet.

1467- Thorronam Betrays Engel and leads Kro to destruction- Engel evacuates what few would come to him

1501- Engel Arrives at Earth, hides the Kro, and hides himself in Present-day Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony).

1544- Engel marries a German woman named Alice- Begins desire for normal life

1545- Thorronam Followed Engel through Engel's portal and kills Alice. Pursues Engel for 3 years

1548- Engel stops at French Alps and faces Thorronam. Thorronam kills him and Engel banishes Thorronam to the Netherworld.

2018- World breaks up into Coalitions- America and Middle East form opposing Imperial Coalitions.

2024- America Pulls out of Middle Eastern Battlefront, M.E.C. Increases aggression against American Coalitional Territories and Europe.

2036- Middle East begins preparation for invasion on America- target undecided.

2038- Target for Invasion decided as San Francisco, American Intelligence finds out and evacuates the city.

2044- Invasion of San Francisco- Biggest Amphibious & Aerial Invasion since Normandy- Casualties in the millions.

2046- Middle Eastern Coalition loses bulk of Armada, commences hit-and-run aerial raids on America.

2048- Engel Awakens

   Paraphysics
Paraphysics is a pseudoscience that explains a lot about how things work in Totenengel.Here are some basic rules derived from Paraphysics-

The Polyplanar Declaration-

In Creation there are several Realities or "Planes" of Existence. Planes are divided by their Dimensions, which is a measurement of Reality and the ability to move about in it. In this Part of the Mortal Super-Plane, there are 4 dimensions- Length, Width, Depth, and Time. However, we are unable to travel through all of them in this Plane, so it is only 3.5 dimensional units real. The bonafide "4th" dimension inhabitants have the ability to move throughout the course of Time itself. Since this plane only has 3 and a half dimensions of existence, it's difficult to say what's higher up in the Dimensional Scale. However, like mentioned earlier, Planes and Dimensions are different. A plane is simply another form of Existence, while a Dimension is its level of Reality. But as far as perception goes, only a certain race's own plane is Real to it, with the exception of Higher Beings, who can move throughout all of the Planes at any Dimension at will. Also, all of Creation is divided into 4 Super-Planes- Heaven (origin of all existence), The Mortal Plane (Created by the Greater One, home to all Sentient Beings), The Netherworld (Arcane realm created by Demons), and Hell (A place created by the prescence of evil in both Mortals and Demons, also where the spirit goes after being left in Limbo or the Netherworld for too long without Ascending). The reason this isn't studied is because it's too confusing for humans or any other Sentient race to handle.

The Netherworld and the Barriers of Reality

The Netherworld is the most Recently Created Super plane that is, in one word, Chaotic. Since it's forged from Arcane of the Highest Power, it's extremely unstable and all of the dimensions of Reality amalgamated into eachother creating a world that can be shifted just by someone thinking. However, it also has a curious ability to poke holes into the other Planes and seep through, creating holes in the Barriers of Reality, which keep all the planes in order and from Colliding like in the Netherworld. However, Arcane practiced in the Mortal Plane has pieces of the Netherworld ripping through Reality through a Portal that is created with a Pentagram, or a Demonic Seal. In other words, Arcane practiced by Mortals is really taking a piece of the Netherworld into this one and manipulating it at will. An Arcane Portal is easily the simplist form of Arcane Power, since it is the building block of all Arcane ability through taking a piece of the Netherworld. Demonic Arcane however is near infinite since it doesn't take a piece of the Netherworld with them- The Demons themselves are fountains of Arcane. But when a Demon is Summoned from the Netherworld, it tears a bigger hole in Reality than that of a conventional Arcane ability, thus making bigger holes in the Barriers of Reality.

Spiritual Movement Throughout Planes

When a Sentient Being's Soul runs out of life force to feed off of the body to give it Spiritual force, it is forced to leave the body when it dies. When it does, it goes into the highest Dimension in Existence known as the Spirit Plane in which it rests before it either Ascends back into its origin (Heaven) through its ability to open the Gate of Heaven with its purity or Descends into Hell (Also known as the Absolute Darkness, True Death, and the Infernal Plane) after it is unable to Ascend. Ghosts are actually Spirits that seep through the Barriers of Reality and appear Randomly in this Plane, then just as quickly disappear. And since Spirits are on the Highest Dimension of Existence, it's only natural that they can, however limited that may be, control parts of this plane. That explains phenomena such as Poltergeists. However, a Spirit possessing an inanimate object is a Result of a Spirit that didn't, in rare circumstances, go to the Spirit Plane.

Guardian Angels (Look over planets and aid in its growth and development. Engel and Thorronam fell under this category)

Angels (Normal Angels who are assigned specific tasks according to ability. Some of these include Holy Emissaries and Soul Harvesters)

Sprites (Lower Angels which are usually the result of an extremely powerful Angel giving off so much power, the excess splits off and becomes a new Angel, with the exception of Sentient Beings' souls who wish to become Angels and thus become Sprites)

Demonic Hierarchy

Lucifer (The most powerful Demon of all, the initiator of the Betrayal)

The Seven Higher Demons (Otherwise known as the Demonlords, or simply the Seven, these are Great Demons in the service of Lucifer. Their purpose is to lead the Mortal Plane Takeover. Their names are Dhomicran, Thorronam, Sepremptt, Tromos, Natacifar, Sacrinox, & Degred)

Mizer'Than (Vampiric Demons that start off at the power of an imp but grow in power and once it absorbed enough Life Force, usually through blood, it can easily match the power of the Seven. The only new kind of Demon to be created by the others)

Deciever Demons (Demons that coax Sentient races over to their side)

Destroyer Demons (Exceedingly Powerful demons whose main purpose is to destroy all Sentient races who disobey the Decievers)

Netherworlders (Ethereal Demons with extreme destructive capability and can affect the Mortal plane directly unlike their Ethereal counterparts)

Summoned Demons (Demons which are powerful enough to take on a Corpreal form, use Arcane at any time and at times summon more of their kind. They include Succubi, Chaos Guards, Djinni, Radere, Afrits, etc.)

Ethereal Demons (Spiritual Demons who cannot affect the Mortal Plane but can possess any kind of body, Sentient or otherwise, and take complete control)

Imps (The Demonic Equivalent of the Sprite, Imps are created in the same way sprites are, but can't come from a willing human)

Well you'll have to wait a little longer. =P However, I would be happy to lend the drafts of... whatever Armara's finished with. hahaha, seriously, it might take a bit. He's very precise. Now, as for another thing a thought popped into my mind: I think I need to show the complete Military System of the Earth's Coalitions. I'll get to the Angelic and Demonic hierarchial chart later. For now, it's mortal focus.

Totenengel- The Story
Totenengel- as you know, the title means "Dead Angel" in German, because that is essentially what it is about. it's set on Earth in the year 2048, and the world is split up into huge continental Coalitions (The American and Middle East went imperial, so South America, Central America and Greenland are all part of the American Coalition, while Africa has joined the Middle Eastern Coalition) and the world is ruled by Paranoia. In the midst of the fighting an unusual thing is found- a man Frozen in the alps, perfectly preserved after more than 500 years. His name is discovered to be Feuersturm Engel (throughout the story called simply "Engel"). At the beginning of the story, he's on display in the Alps in a French Museum as the "Anti-Deterioration", but as the leaders of the French, Russian and German territories pay a visit to the "Pride and Joy of the Alps Musee D'histoire", he awakens and leaves his icy prison. When the Curators and the Territorial Leaders find him, they ask him to tell his story, and it turns out he was actually an Angel being hunted by a Higher Demon named Thorronam, who is after him because Angels are assigned to look over planets by God to help the sentient beings to move forward (i.e., Gabriel is the Guardian Angel of Earth), and in that time the Angelic world was divided into those who affiliate themselves with God (normal Angels like Michael and Gabriel) and those who affiliate themselves with Lucifer (Arcane Angels, or Demons, like Bartimaeus or Beelzebub) who betrayed God (as the Angels call him "The Greater One) and Engel (as he was called on his planet, "Lamisar") is unaware of Thorronam's joining of the Demons, and he allows Thorronam to be "Re-Assigned" to his planet (Kro) when Thorronam destroyed his planet after a failed Arcane experiment as the Sun of his planet exploded and consumed everything (the gravity was too weak) and Thorronam tempted Engel's sentient beings (who have uncanny abilities to shape the Earth and control the Weather) to use it without caution, and that destroyed Engel's planet. However, before that happened, Engel evacuated (using a dimensional transport) his people and hid them on Earth. Thorronam found out and hunted him down and killed him, but when Angels or Demons "Die" they merely become Mortal (with a 700 billion year life span, doesnt' seem too mortal to me. =P) and Warlocks on the Earth are attempting to summon a Demonic invasion, with Thorronam as the leader. What Engel has to do is find the Warlock's Summoning Pits and destroy them before the Demons can get through. Don't worry, this is just the skeleton of the story. There will be funny little moments and more characters to come.
(I apologize for the extremely long explanation, it's a big plot. it's hard to just summarize it for someone who overcomplicates things like myself)
