Naruto Cards!
The long awaited Naruto Collectible Card Game CCG is within your grasp. Command your ninja, focus your Chakra, master the Jutsu, and achieve victory over rival ninja on your way to becoming a true shinobi, and perhaps one day, the Hokage!
The Naruto CCG introduces new gameplay and deep strategy allowing players to bring famous and infamous ninja into play to combat and defeat an opponent's ninja. Suffering defeat may mean giving away battle rewards to your opponent in the form of cards from your draw deck or suffering nasty injuries to your ninja. Ninja can be made more powerful by the use of jutsu such as Naruto's "Shadow Clone Jutsu" by storing their chakra or mystical shinobi energies. But your must be careful. Your draw deck and the chakra energies within it could run out, causing you to lose the game! Just like the rigorous training of the ninja academies, the Naruto CCG requires planning, balance, and courage.
To achieve victory, one must have the proper tools and training. The following details the three card types in the Naruto CCG: Ninja, Missions, and Jutsu. Naruto CCG Card Types
There are three types of cards found in the Naruto CCG this section will outline the following: Ninja, Missions, and Jutsu card types.
Ninja: Ninja cards are the primary type in the Naruto CCG. The key attributes of a Ninja card are the power stats at the bottom right hand corner of the card. The first number is the Ninja's combat number when it is at the head of a team. The second number is used when a Ninja is in a team, but is not the leader. When a Ninja becomes injured, the card is turned clockwise one quarter turn, so the combat numbers have game effects, too.
Missions: These cards represent the various events and tasks in the world of Naruto. Since only one card can be played per turn per player, they have various powerful and strategic uses.
Jutsu: These cards are unique Ninja Arts that are studies and used in combat. Jutsu are based on certain elemental energies and when used in the game must be paid for with chakra: the symbol in the upper right of every card. Th five different Chakra energis are Lightning, Wind, Water, Earth and Fire.
