It's finally subtitled!
Posting mainly to do a teeny bit of pimping for a drama that I and apparently a lot of other people have been anticipating for a while: Proposal Daisakusen. I can only hope it lives up to the hype. @_@
The text doesn't show up well on camera, so I'll just type it out: Happy birthday, Sangome! You can't eat a paper cake, but it's the thought that counts, right? Comments (5) |

A few points to knock out of the way
- There's a BJD meet in Mitsuwa again on the 29th. I really want to go, though I'm very unsure of whether I can.
- On my few days on LJ, I've learned: an old friend of mine from the Naruto fandom also attended the con Shinkiro went to, MTAC; another old Naruto friend is now living in Japan and is convinced she recently saw KAT-TUN on the train station. DAMN. I still refuse to like anyone other than Jin, but DAMN. (On that note: my Yamapi layout > you. *spent hours on it like an insane person*)
- Who's willing to bet that, somewhere down the line, someone is going to ask me, "Who's that hot Korean girl on your icon?"
EDIT: And yet another one of my friends is moving to Japan in three weeks. And then there's little ol' me who's never even been to Japan before. *lame* Comments (4) |

Updating at an odd time of night in order to make a fairly big announcement.
I find that whenever I make a major switch in fandoms that heavily involve LJ communities, I end up switching livejournals, mostly because there's too much baggage (for the lack of a better word) in my previous LJs for me to really continue posting on them.
It's become pretty clear to me that JE is in all likeliness not something that I'm just going to get over and forget about in a month or so. And in order to get really involved in the JE community, the best option for me would be to start being active on livejournal again, since the fandom there is huge. So just a few hours ago, I made a new account.
Mind you, I don't currently intend on abandoning my myO. Admittedly, I have a horrible track record when it comes to keeping up multiple journals over a long span of time, but I really don't want to lose track of this community, so I'll try my best to balance both.
For those of you who are thinking of friending me on LJ, don't. Not unless you think you can handle me in full-blown fangirl mode; believe it or not, I've been holding back quite a bit the past month or so. I lied about having standards in my last post. I won't have any inclination to do so on LJ, so just consider yourself warned.
Though in the mean time, I'm sure the only two things that will change are: the URL listed under Website on my sidebar & that I'll be posting on here less obsessively... which is probably more of a good thing, all things considered. ^^; Comments (2) |

What's this? Bell saying something negative about JE? Say it ain't so!
I have officially decided that I don't like KAT-TUN. I know that fanservice is a big part of JE, but there comes a point when it's just too much. And KAT-TUN crossed that line when the members were all, like, fifteen.
It's a pity, since they do have some good songs, and I really, really like Akanishi Jin. I think he has a lovely singing voice, but it bothers me that every time I want to hear him sing, I'm forced to sit through five minutes of him dancing provocatively. And he doesn't dance in a funny way like Yamapi; he dances in a "stripping is SRS BUSINESS" way with generic porno music playing in the background. I know that sounds funny, but it becomes really excruciating to watch. I DO have a few standards left, despite some of my recent posts, yet KAT-TUN violates and then spits on all of them.
I don't care how popular they are, my final verdict is definitely still: kanjani8 >>>>>> KAT-TUN.
Although I still like Jin. He's just so wonderfully charismatic, and he has such a pretty, silky singing voice. Honestly, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't even touch KAT-TUN with a ten-foot pole. (The video skips past the dancing, thankfully.)
EDIT: Looking back at it, I think that might be the best fandom-related rant I've written in a really long time. See that? JE inspires you to write well! :3 Comments (2) |

Uchi Hiroki is a girl.
Pink goggles = GIRL
Girly dancing = GIRL
Singing voice = GIRL
Cooing over babies = GIRL
Thinking fish are icky = GIRL
Running from a pack of dogs screaming his head off = GIRL (Here's the clip of this--it is WAY more amusing than it should be.)
GIRL
Conclusion: HE IS A GIRL. And he's prettier than I am, the bastard. Comments (4) |

Arashi PVs are all about individualism. See how they're dramatically removing their glasses? That's them breaking free from the oppressive chains of society. It's really deep if you think about it.
Today I found out that a friend of mine is a fan of Ryo-kun as well, also because of 1 Litre of Tears! (See? It's not just me! Ryo-kun ate her brain too!) And I think I've managed to make her a fan of Yamapi, Arashi, and kanjani8 all in one day! Am I good or what? *waves the VICTORY flag*
And on that note...
Earlier I found out that Youtube deleted my favorite kanjani8 video. So I decided to get revenge by inflicting upon them the most utterly shameless video of my entire collection of JE clips:
Ryo-kun doing something very very very special. Though on second thought, maybe it's typical. God why do I like him And yes, I realize it has no sound. Forgive my suckiness. Comments (0) |

Rem's new pants came in today:
It came with a lolipop! How cool is that? :D
Funny thing is, when I first took the pants out of the package, I was surprised by how long they are; to put it in perspective, they are about as long as my Dell computer monitor is tall. But when I put them on Rem, they actually came up about 1 cm too short. Lesson of the anecdote: Remy has freakishly long legs.
I also had a lot of free time a couple nights ago, and so I made a fairly quick papercraft.
Zelda - Majora's Mask
Never noticed this in the game, but when I lay the mask on its back, it kind of looks like a bug. :3 Comments (0) |

I thought that would be too explosive... no pun intended.
I am SO glad that new episodes of The Office are showing now. I'm actually watching TV again! At this rate, I might make an effort to keep up with Lost. :3
For those of you who don't watch the show and are thus missing out, here's one of my favorite scenes:
Think Avenue Q's "Everyone's a little bit racist": The Office-style.
EDIT: Aw crap, apparently it was Yamapi's b-day a couple days ago, and I was totally unaware. *is officially a terrible fangirl* :( Comments (1) |

I might be getting a free mp3 player soon. I can't say anything for sure yet, but it seems pretty likely to happen. :D
As for ACen, I've decided to try to attend two concerts now. I was originally only planning to go to the High and Mighty Color concert, but I checked out the other Japanese band Spiral Spiders, and they seem pretty interesting as well. From what I've heard, their songs are largely hit-or-miss with me, but in the end, I love Bob Dylan was enough to win me over. ^-^;
Now here's a short clip of NEWS on a recent episode of Utaban being forced to answer trivia questions and getting electrocuted when they answer incorrectly. Also featuring: further butchering of the English language!
