The Oscars
Pan's Labyrinth didn't win for Best Foreign Film! THAT'S BULL.

But otherwise, it was all good. :D

I'm happy about Scorsese finally winning, although I feel sorry for poor old Peter O'Toole. I don't think he should have won just on the basis of the Academy making up for past mistakes, but it still sucks that he never won anything. (And at this point, probably never will.) :/

Oh, and I like how the announcer said Infernal Affairs was a Japanese film. Good job, America.

I found out something veeery interesting about one of the doll heads that came along with Remy; it's limited edition! And because of that, I decided to sell it off for $85. :3

The reason why I've been selling things like crazy as of late is because a few days ago I decided to buy a whole bunch of clothes for Rem before ACen. I'm also planning to get a tripod within the next month or so, since I'm tired of taking, like, 6 pictures just to get a single non-blurry shot. So here's for hoping that I can raise all the money in time!

Today I rewatched some episodes of Princess Tutu with a friend, and it pushed me towards rereading the old Fakir/Ahiru article I wrote almost 9 months ago. After reading it I decided that, while I still admire the ideas put into it, the article as a whole is begging to be rewritten. It's not as concise as I now think it should have been, and I don't spend nearly enough time developing some of the points in my argument.

So akin to what Fasteriskhead announced a little while ago, I want to revise the whole article. I desperately need an excuse to start writing during my free time again, and I think this would be a good start.

Wow. I didn't think it was possible, but Le Chevalier managed to create a legitimate, dead-serious context for an awkward crossdressing scene. It was so well done that I almost prevented myself from giggling like an obnoxious 10-year old throughout the whole thing. :3

In other news: I went to the market today and bought a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponge to get rid of some stains on Rem's headcap from his Leekeworld wig--and it worked! Rem might also be getting a handmade knit cap soon. :D

EDIT: I like how the counter for the Over Night mp3 jumped from 600-something to almost 900. (I bet most of it was my doing, haha.)
