I've been pronouncing the word watashi incorrectly for all these years! I should've caught on to this earlier, since I've lectured/ranted about stressed syllables to people before; I've been saying waTAshi instead of wataSHI. And I have to somehow correct this habit by Saturday. I'm screwed!

And on the exact opposite side of the spectrum, here's kanjani8 attempting to MC in English:

For those of you who can't understand that babble (not that I blame you, haha), here's a quick Engrish translation:

"English talk only, okay?"
"Okay!"
"All English! All English!"
"Oh, very difficult!"
"I am hungry!"
"Hungry?"
"I'm... stomachache. I'm stomachache!"
"What!"
"I am... (chouberiburu? I have no idea what he's saying here.)"
"Oh, sorry! I wish!"
"Oh geez!"
"Geez!"
"Oh, Jesus!"
"Jesus!"
"THOMAS!"
"You are funny!"
"Oh, thank you!"
"Are you a comedian?"
"No, no, no! I'm Japanese idol!"
"He's a liar!"
"Liar! Liar!"

--I have no idea what they're saying for about 20 seconds.

"What's your name?"
"Mike?"
"Mike?!"
"Mike!"
"No, Smith!"
"Smith!"
"Okay okay, Smith okay. Mike? Smith or Mike? Smith or Mike?"
"Okay okay okay. Everything okay."
"English talk finish?"
"Finish!"

Forgive their dorkiness; they're Osakan. XD
