My mom is sort of attached to the house. Attached isn't really the right word, she's pretty much wedged in.
I think this is a semi-appropriate time to dig this up.

The above is the first five minutes of the not terribly well-known film What's Eating Gilbert Grape, which stars Johnny Depp as Gilbert Grape and Leonardo Dicaprio as his mentally challenged younger brother. I first watched this film a little over a year ago, and since then I've primarily used it as proof of two things:

1) Dicaprio can in fact act
2) Johnny ages extremely well

In any case, the film is worth watching if not just to see Johnny in one of his few not-so-out-there roles. (And he's stated that this character reflects his younger self in a lot of ways, so I suppose that alone would interest most fans of his.)

IT'S KAWAII.
