When it comes to modesty, I'm the greatest!
I dueled my friend John today on AIM. I had made my Deck accommodate the new Ban-List that will be coming out soon, so several game-breaking cards were absent from my deck.

But not from his.

Even so, his confidence wavered. He had faced my Beatdown deck several times before, and he hadn't held up well against it. 3-4 turn victories often went to me. =P

legoboy1: Want to duel? Or do you have to get off soon?
enricopalazzo24: no im not getting off but ur insane beatdown/GIANT ORC deck will kill me

(Yes, lovely. Now watch how modestly I handle it)

legoboy1: :p
legoboy1: That's why I want to change it.
legoboy1: To make winning harder. XD

(*cough*)

legoboy1: Since my deck is post-ban, you don't have to worry about Raigeki, Change of Heart, Harpie's, Cyber Jar, or Imperial Order.
enricopalazzo24: what about....
enricopalazzo24: giant orc!
legoboy1: Well, yeah.
legoboy1: He'll still be a pain in your ass.

And so, the duel commenced. Early on, there was some discrepancies in the ruling of my Kaiser Colosseum card. As long as it was on the field, he couldn't have any more monsters than I did. What I discovered partway through the duel was that I, in fact, had to have a monster on the field in order for KC's effect to work. So, the whole thing could have turned out differently. But, we continued on anyways, taking into account the correct ruling.

I got in a lot of damage early on in the game. I brought out a monster than could attack twice, and I powered him up. Teamed with one of my Giant Orcs, he took out a chunk of 4700 LifePoints from the starting 8000, bringing John down to 3300LP in one fell swoop.

Then he played Dark Hole and destroyed both of them. v_v

I got out my second Giant Orc and attacked directly, bringing him to 1100LP, at which he would remain for a good portion of the duel. John tries to frighten me with his Black Luster Soldier, a favorite of his with 3000 Attack Points.

I destroyed it the turn after he brought it out. =P

With his field now clear, I drew my third and final Giant Orc. :D I attacked directly for the win, but he countered with (the often overlooked) Mirror Force, which negated the attack and destroyed my Orc.

On my next turn I summon another monster, but again he stops the damage. This time, by discarding a Kuriboh. Kuriboh's special ability allows it to reduce any battle damage done to 0 when it is discarded. Bah. Delaying the inevitable.

He takes control of my monster, and I discover then the official ruling of Kaiser Coliseum. Since we knew the correct ruling, he summoned another monster and attacked me with both. I was brought down to 4000LP, half of the starting amount.

We trade some minor damage back and forth with little monster skirmishes, and then he plays Swords of Revealing Light to stop me from attacking for three turns. I play my Spirit Reaper in defense mode to bolster my forces, and a good thing too. On his next turn, John destroyed the monster I was using to attack with.

On what was close to the last turn of Swords of Revealing Light, John brings out his powerful Summoned Skull.

Due to an ill-conceived move a turn or two before, I had a monster in Attack Position, and John was able to inflict a good amount of damage. I was down to 2400. He was still at 1100. The tides were shifting, and I didn't like it.

I had been toying with him, bored with the whole thing. Suddenly it wasn't just for fun; my pride was at stake. If I let him defeat my Beatdown Deck, my prized deck design that has only lost twice; well, that would just be intolerable. So I put my head back into the game.

I had three monsters on the field protecting me, but the Summoned Skull still loomed large and imposing. I tried to activate my Dark Hole spell card to clear the field of all monsters, but he was prepared for such an act of desperation. He countered my attempt with a Magic Jammer trap card, which stopped my Dark Hole.

I then tried to bring out my Airknight Parshath by offering my facedown Witch of the Black Forest, but he countered my move again with a Horn of Heaven. My knight wasn't strong enough to beat or match his Skull, but he still didn't want it around, for it's special abilities made it invaluable to me. Not to mention that it is quite possibly my favorite card. John can be spiteful at times.

Fortunately, my deceased Witch reached out from the Graveyard with her special ability and allowed me to pull on monster from my deck and add it to my hand. I pulled out Exiled Force, a monster that I could offer to destroy one monster on the field. I was obviously aiming for his Summoned Skull.

I had already summoned that particular turn, though, so I couldn't bring out the Force just yet. Instead, I switched my defending Slate Warrior to Attack Mode and wiped out John's only other monster besides the skull. Slate Warrior's ATK power was only 100 under the Skull's, so I would not lose much should he attack.

He attacked, and I was down to 2300 while he remained at 1100. I wasn't trying hard enough. I had to win! Fortunately, Slate Warrior helped out again and used its ability to drain 500 Attack and Defense points from the Summoned Skull, weakening it.

He ended his turn after setting a facedown Trap card. I didn't know it was a Trap, though, until I tried to destroy his Skull with my Exiled Force.

enricopalazzo24: counter
enricopalazzo24: with
enricopalazzo24: face down
enricopalazzo24: trap hole
enricopalazzo24: BYE EXILED FORCE

(His Trap Hole trap card destroyed my Exiled Force the moment it came to the field. So much for my plan, eh?)

I ended my turn, having nothing else to do. John activated his Spell card, Raigeki, which destroyed my only remaining monster, Spirit Reaper. He then attacked me directly with his weakened Summoned Skull, bringing me down to a measly 300 LifePoints.

On my next turn, I did all that I could. I set my Sangan monster card in defense mode and hoped that I could use its effect to save myself. Sangan is similar to Witch of the Black Forest, in that it allows me to bring one monster from my deck to my hand.

He played Heavy Storm, a Spell card that destroyed my Kaiser Colosseum and my facedown Horn of Heaven. With my Colosseum gone, John could now outnumber my puny Sangan. And he did, by bringing back my Airknight Parshath with his Monster Reborn card. When he played the card, I tempted him. Airknight could have won him the match, had he attacked with it first.

I played off of his arrogance, suggesting he take his Black Luster Soldier back and totally annihilate me. When that didn't work, I suggested he attack with the Summoned Skull first, and then finish me off with my own monster.

While he ignored my suggestions, he could not ignore the underlying suggestion of arrogance. He sacrificed both of his monsters to bring out his Magician of Black Chaos. I twitched nervously. MoBC special ability would let him bring back a magic card from the Graveyard. If he chose Monster Reborn, he could revive Airknight again and win the duel. He told me to guess what card he would choose, and so I guessed something else.

enricopalazzo24: ill take back....
enricopalazzo24: ill let u figure it out
enricopalazzo24: what magic card im goning to take
legoboy1: Raigeki? v_v

He fell for it, and went along with me. He took back Raigeki and used it to destroy my Sangan. My superb AIM-acting abilities paid off.

legoboy1: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
enricopalazzo24: what
legoboy1: Sangan!
enricopalazzo24: so
legoboy1: I pull out KURIBOH!

And so, I was able to prevent the damage to my lifepoints that his Magician would have done, and I was spared for the turn. I drew Swords of Revealing Light! I activated it, and bought myself three turns free of monster attacks. I felt just like I was in some life or death game, weighing so much in the next few turns. I had to make every card count.

The turns passed, and I drew cards. On the final turn of my Swords, he offered another monster he had brought out to set one in defense mode. I've faced John many times before, and the only card he ever sacrificed for to set facedown was Catapault Turtle. If he weren't so arrogant as to try and set me up, he would have summoned the Turtle and finished my off using its special ability.

On my next turn, I played a Magic Card to stop his Magician from attacking; The Mask of the Accursed. Besides halting his attack, it inflicted 500 points of damage to his LifePoints at the beginning of my turns. I flipped up one of my defending monsters, a creature with enough attack points to destroy the Turtle, if indeed that's what it was. I attacked, and destroyed hi Catapault Turtle.

He lost 500 Lifepoints on my next turn, bringing him to 600LP. I switched my monster back into Defense mode. I had no room to take chances.

Because I didn't attack, John had a monster on his side of the field. He sacrificed it to bring out his Curse of Dragon, a Dragon-Type monster boasting a decent attack of 2000. He attacked and destroyed one of my defense position monsters. Faced again with a strong monster and a shortage of cards on the field, I put my trust in the next card I drew.

Monster Reborn.

I activated it, and revived the strongest monster that had yet been played in the game, John's Black Luster Soldier. I attacked his Curse of Dragon, inflicting 1000 points of damage and ending the duel. Against the odds, I had won.

John had a card in his hand that could have stopped my attack and wiped out my own LifePoints, but he had been afraid to play it; thinking that I would somehow destroy it before its activation. Lucky me. ^.^'

So, yeah. This was another fun post to write. I'm off to Groton City Day....for the evening. :p See you all later!

   Finally......a fitting opponent.
I just had one of the most incredible Yu-Gi-Oh Matches of my life not a full half hour ago. Deathbug signed onto his AIM name some time ago, and I challenged him to a duel.

He beat me the first Duel, and I thought I was in over my head. I hadn't even reduced his Life Points by half when the game ended. I suggested that we continue, though; to play a full Match. I.E. Best two out of three. He agreed.

The second duel was even fiercer than the first. Monsters raged back and forth across the field, thwarted by traps and affected in various ways by the effects of other monsters. Deathbug was a skill adversary, and he made me earn my victory over him.

At every turn, it seemed that he would have a powerful monster out. After he got one out, and I somehow managed to destroy it, one of his recursion cards would simply bring it back, or in some other way enable him to get it back. At the end of the duel, my LifePoints were at 800, and his were at 400. The only reason I won was because I drew my ridiculously powerful Giant Orc and overpowered one of his average-strength ones. The whole thing was tooth and nail.

Having proved my worth to both Deathbug and to myself, we continued on for the third and final duel.

After a short bathroom break, that is. >.>;;

The third duel started innocently enough, as we traded some damage back and forth and destroyed some of our weaker monsters. Then he Special Summons a stronger monster by displacing some of his vanquished monsters.

Now, while this monster (Dark Necrofear) is not exceptionally powerful, it's a risky task to destroy it. Because if I did, he would be able to take control of one of my monsters. So, I defended until I could come up with a specialized plan of attack.

Meanwhile, Deathbug summoned another powerful monster. (Summoned Skull) I had a monster immune to other monster attacks (Spirit Reaper) defending me, and I had a good chunk of Life Points left, and so I was no more worried than I should have been.

Then, I drew one card that could have turned the duel around. Raigeki, the lightning bolt that destroys all of my opponent’s monsters. I played it to destroy his Necrofear and his Summoned Skull. He activated a Trap card, though, and snatched the triumphant cry straight from my lips.

His Ring of Destruction detonated his Summoned Skull, inflicting damage to both of us. However, his second Trap card (Barrel Behind the Door) deflected the damage he would receive right back at me. So, from 5500 LifePoints, I was reduced to a measly 500. That meager amount lessened even further to 200.

Once again, the Beatdown nature of my deck saved me. Deathbug pulled up several weaker monster that I was able to plow through with my own, and then I got a lucky Direct Attack with my Giant Orc. He went from 2300 right down to 100, half of my own pathetic amount.

On his final turn, Deathbug activated a card that revealed to him my hand. He obviously knew the cards he himself possessed, and what I had on the field already. His omniscient view of the game forced him to surrender. He had no monster with which to defend himself, and the cards in my hand were both monsters that could be played to beat him.

He admitted defeat, and I won the Match.

Deathbug: 1 Duel won.
Ben: 2 Duels won.
Majority: Ben.
Victor: Ben.

Aye, that was great fun.

Some fun quotes:

Legoboy1: What sort of Deck are you using right now?
Legoboy1: Fiends? :-P
Xavier Osborn: Well....yeah. ^^;
Legoboy1: Do you have it nearby?
Xavier Osborn: On my desk, to the left of me. =P
Legoboy1: In that case.....
Legoboy1: I challenge you to a duel!
Legoboy1: >:D
Xavier Osborn: Unless I am mistaken you are asking for a CHAAALLLEEENNNGGGEEE!!!!

*pause* There is some humongous bug in my room. I'll return shortly.

*miss*

*miss*

*PING*

*SQUASH*

Bug hunting is another of my hobbies. I use rubber bands for the most part. I missed twice, and then hit the rim of my light cover, where the bug was perched. It fell to the ground, and I caught it in a paper bag. No more annoying beetle.
Anyways, on with the quotes...

Xavier Osborn: Monster is flipped.
Legoboy1: Slate Warrior.
Xavier Osborn: Nutty fusgekins.

(I had just activated a Trap to protect my monster, and DB discovered that the monster I was hiding was a powerful one, and was powered up when it was flipped face-up)

Xavier Osborn: Hahahah!!!!
Legoboy1: :p
Legoboy1: DOn't mock me.
Xavier Osborn: I removed Newdoria, SS and NA from the grave to summon Dark Necrofear in attack mode.
Legoboy1: >_<
Xavier Osborn: Soory...evil laugh. ^^;

(I had just gotten rid of my last monster to destroy one of his more powerful ones. He laughs, because he was then able to summon another one using the monster I had just destroyed)

Xavier Osborn: Summon Slate wArrior.
Xavier Osborn: Attac Orc.
Legoboy1: Magic Cylinder
Xavier Osborn: Damn.
Xavier Osborn: ...
Xavier Osborn: LP: 1600
Legoboy1: ^.^

(I managed to stop his attack at a crucial junction, and he lost over half of his LifePoints in the process. I was happy as pie.)

Legoboy1: MST on facedown card.
Xavier Osborn: Activate Scapegoat.
Legoboy1: Bleh.
Xavier Osborn: ^__^

(I was trying to get rid of his defenses, but he pulled a fast one on me and brought out even more)

Xavier Osborn: Anyway, Goats everywhere.

(he'd just activated Scapegoat, again, so he had a bunch of weak little Sheep Tokens to use)

Xavier Osborn: Sac NA for....
Xavier Osborn: Goo n, guess. ^^;
Legoboy1: You calling me a goon? >:|

Xavier Osborn: Shoulda' been "go on".
Legoboy1: Summoned Skull.
Legoboy1: Heh, I know.

(a typo turns into a mock insult, or something....goon is a funny word)

Xavier Osborn: I activate ring of Destruction on the summoned skull.
Legoboy1: -_o
Xavier Osborn: Any response?
Legoboy1: Ouch...?

(He'd lessened the damage my Raigeki had, and hurled even more back at me. Things got even worse when he doubled the damage with his next card)

Xavier Osborn: Well, then I trigger Barrel Behind the Door to Ring, giving you my damage. 5000.
Xavier Osborn: Game.
Legoboy1: I have 500 left...
Legoboy1: I had 5500
Xavier Osborn: Ah, right.
Legoboy1: =/
Legoboy1: That's right, RIGHT.
Legoboy1: :p
Xavier Osborn: ^^;

(One of the many times I had to correct Deathbug on math. He's not very good at tracking LifePoints...)

Legoboy1: I sense impending doom.

(This is when I had 200 LP left, and a monster on the field that he could have overpowered with one of his stronger monsters. I thought for sure he would get one out and defeat me)

Xavier Osborn: I give.
Legoboy1: Surrender?
Xavier Osborn: Yup.
Legoboy1: Whatever for?
Xavier Osborn: I have nothing to defend myself with.

(Deathbug admits defeat, so that on the next turn I won't force it down his throat. =P)

Legoboy1: This was an awesome Match. ^_^
Xavier Osborn: Yes. ^__^ Good show.
Legoboy1: Especially the last two, where we got so close. o.o;;

Legoboy1: Fan[t]astic to duel you.
Legoboy1: ~_^
Xavier Osborn: Ditto.

(Just a few last respectful remarks before we parted)

So, yeah. It was a fun time. Unfortunately, it kept me awake longer than I had intended. So, good night everybody. ^_^;;

If I weren't so tired, I'd put in colors to make the AIM quotes look realistic.

Duelists of AIM!

   I <3 AIM.
Today was a rather unproductive day. I had a tough time getting to bed last night, and eventually wound up taking an Ambien at 1:40AM. A little while after that, I actually got to sleep; yay.

I got up this morning and did a bunch of things that weren't productive, and then I received an IM from another OB member. I think his OB name is Dark Assailant, but I'm not sure.

He had seen the plea in my signature, calling out to all my fellow duelists. I needed someone to play, and he was available. And so, we dueled.

I was winning the first duel, but he blew up one of his monsters and did damage to both of us, and the duel ended in a draw. The second duel, I changed decks. Instead of my fun little LifePoint gain deck, he had to face my Beatdown deck. >:D

Victory was practically assured. :p

And I did, in fact, win the second duel. But the rules of the game said that we had to play the third duel, to determine whether the Match would be mine, or if it would be a draw.

Dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn.......

I used my Beatdown again, but he brought out his Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning. That thing is just ridiculously powerful and rather simple to bring to the field. Add to that a slew of other monsters, and he had me beat.

But not before I took down his Black Luster Soldier. >=/

I summoned a special monster that weakened his BLS, and then I powered up one of my other creatures, an Archfiend Soldier. With the difference in power now shifted, his Soldier was Archfiend food. >:D

I had gotten myself into a sort of lock, though. He had a monster that could bypass my monsters if all I had were powerful ones. He destroyed the weaker one, and then attacked directly for game. Bah. Jerk. :p

The Match was a Draw, and we parted friends.

Shortly thereafter, my friend John from St. B's signed on. I was more than happy to introduce him to the world of AIM dueling. =P Our battle was soon underway.

As the duel progressed, he filled up his field with monsters and I just gained more and more LifePoints. I had at one point doubled the 8000 LifePoints I had started with. Unfortunately, I had few monsters that could deal damage to him.

With his horde of little monsters, he chipped away at the weaker monsters I played onto the field. They were weak in stats, but I used their effects to further my LifePoint gain.

And then, John wiped out my protective Spell cards and all hell broke loose. In one swift move, he dropped me down from 14000 LifePoints to 9100, still over the beginning mark. Then he got lucky, and summoned a powerful monster. I was out of cards in my hand, and only two on my field. I was topdecking, living off of my deck. The only monsters I had were those that were left in my deck, and I could only hope that I drew them.

In the end, he beat me with his Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and even then, his LifePoints were down to 3100. It was very long, very drawn out, and a heck of a lot of fun. ^__________^

I shall have to build more Decks for this. :) My love of the game is renewed! Yay!

I'll get the exact wording of all four duels up on my FreeWebs site soon. Then you can see the play by play action. ~_^

I'll bet no more than three of you out there reading would understand any of it. XD

But still, those who do will see how awesome it was. ^_^

Other than that, I mowed another lawn and made $20. A Subway opened up down the street from me, so I imagine that I'll be eating there a lot, just as soon as they start serving wraps.

I'm still very conscious of my eating, and I know I didn't eat enough today. I was just too busy having fun. :p

So, yay for Yu-Gi-Oh and yay for the new Adventure Underground. With the A.U., hopefully I can keep W.H.A.T.E. the RPG from going under and maybe I'll finally finish it. ^_^

I've also begun my Yu-Gi-Oh RPG, Yu-Gi-Oh: Worlds Collide. I've got a couple of good people working on it, so hopefully things will turn out for the better.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How could I come this close to forgetting?!

I'm going to Maine again tomorrow. It's just for the weekend, but I thought you'd all like to know ahead of time. >_>;;

We're going up for the annual family reunion, full of adults I never remember and cousins I swear I've never met. There's usually some good food, and I might decide to cheat a little from my healthy eating. Some of the stuff is very, very good.

Who knows? Maybe I'll be surprised and find that one of my distant cousins is a duelist. :D

And, yeah. I've rambled on long enough, I think.

   Fun & Informative
I just got back from my walk a minute ago. I decided to try something different, so I walked over to Fort Griswold. It's about a mile from my house (uphill, I discovered :p) and I hadn't been there in quite a while.

When I got there, I found that the monument was not open, so I couldn't climb up the huge spiral staircase to get to the top of it. Such a pity, I'm sure it would have been great for my legs. =P

So, instead, I walked around the battlefield, reading the numerous signs telling about the battle and about certain sites. All over the park are signs that said: "PLEASE stay off the earthworks." The earthworks aren't that hard to spot; they're manmade hills that jut up sharply from the ground. So, I complied and instead traveled through a little dip in between some of the earthworks.

It was like a little courtyard surrounded on all sides by the earth walls. On one side was located a narrow doorway, though, and so I went through. It led me out of the courtyard and into a trench set back in the face of a tall, tall hill. I went down through the trench and emerged at the bottom, where I proceeded over to the gun battery. There were no longer any guns there, but there were six or eight places where you could tell that an old-fashioned cannon once rested. All positions faced the harbor, where the British would be attacking from.

Going back up the hill towards the entrance (skirting around the edge of the trench), I could not imagine being a British soldier trying to run up the hill while under enemy fire. It's a steep hill, easily winding me when I tried to run up part of it, and a small earthwork guards the trench where the Americans would be defending. Shooting while running up the hill would be extremely difficult. Standing still would be suicide. Running up and not shooting would only bring you right to the trench, where enemy forces waited.

I can't imagine that the British won by attacking the river side of the fort. It was simply too well defended, I thought.

So, having satisfied my curiosity, I walked back home. It was chilly out, but the cold air felt very nice after (and during) my exertions.

Time to take a shower, and then maybe I can get to bed early enough to go to the gym! :p

Adieu.

I got up this morning as usual, at 5:41. For whatever reason, I decided not even to attempt to rouse myself to go to the gym. Back to bed I went.

My sister came in and woke me up at around 12:00. I was well rested, and I hadn't gone to the gym or gone for a walk. >_>;;

I got up and made myself some eggs and (low-carb) toast. MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH. Breakfast was done, so I got dressed and ready to go to my interview at the library. I also had to help Michael get ready, because he couldn't be left alone at home. My sister Jess drove me over to the library. We got there early, 1:35. :p

I wandered around for a little bit, checking out display items and reading the titles of random books I passed. I got the idea into my head that I could go into the library every now and then and pull out one book at random off of the shelf and read it. It didn't have to be long, and it didn't have to be something I would normally read. I thought it was an interesting idea. Now all I'd have to do is find my library card. >_>;;

At 1:45 I went up to the front desk and told them I was there for my 2:00 interview. The lady at the desk called Joe from the back room (Joe being the man who has handled the applicants and such from the beginning). He told me to have a seat somewhere, and that he'd get me when they were ready. A few people who were to be a part of the interview were still eating lunch. :p

So, I went to the magazine rack and pulled out the latest copy of Writer's Digest. I think I might actually get a subscription to that magazine. It has all sorts of writing tips and neat little essays written by people on developing characters, plot, etc. Not to mention that every issue has at least two ads for a writing contest, with cash prizes. =P

Joe came over a couple minutes later. I shelved my magazine and followed him to one of the out of the way offices that the library possesses. There were two ladies already there. We were introduced, and I found out that one of them was the head of Circulation, and the other was head of the Children's section.

In turn, they asked me questions.

Why did I want to work at the library?
What hours would I not be available to work during the school year?
Did I volunteer anywhere? Did I have any other jobs at some point?

I think there were more questions, but whatever. They then had me reorganize a cart of books. On the top shelf were non-fiction books organized by the Dewey Decimal System, and on the bottom were Fiction books organized by the authors' last name. They talked amongst themselves while I systematically took apart the books on the cart and organized them. When I was done, they thanked me for my time and let me leave.

It was only 2:18, and my sister was coming to pick me up at 3:00. So, I went over to the Science Fiction section and picked out Elfstones of Shannara, the sequel to the Sword of Shannara, which I read while in Maine. But then I saw Mr. Fleury, Victoria's dad. He beckoned me to the table he was sitting at and showed me what he was working on.

It was job application for St. Bernard's. He explained that a Math teacher was needed, and he had spent several years teaching math courses at Electric Boat, a major company nearby. While he didn't have a teaching degree, he was certified by the state to teach certain Math courses. He figured that he had a good chance.

I was saved from any further conversation by my aunt, Sandra. She was there researching for a paper, and I asked her for a ride home, since Jess wouldn't be coming for a good while. She said she would, and I eventually disentangled myself from the conversation with Mr. Fleury. Quite a relief. v_v

Sandra called Jess, and we all met at Dairy Queen. Sandra and Jess got some sort of frozen treat, and I got a bottle of water. ~_^ I am so good sometimes.

After that, I went home with Jess and Michael. I went on my dad's computer to watch a movie, but spied a new icon on the screen. Battlefield: Vietnam. I clicked on it, and wound up playing this first-person shooter for a couple of hours. :D The game got rather choppy at certain levels, though, rendering the screen nearly useless. So, I quit out of it and had some supper. After that, I came upstairs to catch up on everything MyO-OB related and talked to Victoria on AIM.

*twitch* I'm still itching to duel someone.

Meh. That's about it. Noon awakenings make for short days and less activity. :p Maybe I'll go for a walk. Whatever I do, I need to go to bed early so I can get up and go to the gym tomorrow. >_>

And so, I leave for now.
