   Whoo Hoo and stuff...
Since I really ought to study right now, I'll summarize my day in a bunch of phrases.

Wake up, go to school.

School Administration = Incredibly stupid.

Exams + Two classes.

One class = 16 minutes long.

Exams: Algebra II = :)
English = o.o

Went home.
Went to S.H.S.
Saw Christina and Victoria.
"Hello." "Bye."
Went home, again.

Surfed net.
Went to practice.
Got nicked in the finger by Steve Castaldi. Much initial pain.
Lost to a Novice, 5-2. >_< I impaled myself far too many times. He scraped my leg, badly, painfully.

Ow.

Went home, ate healthier than normal. Got online, checked OB, talked to some fantastic people.

Haven't studied yet for History and French. Need to do that, need to take a shower, too.

Hopefully more in-depth look after exams....

I feel pretty good right now.
It might be from arguing with my sister. She wanted to use my computer, utilizing, of course, vast exaggerations and feigned ignorance. She was telling me heartbreakingly about how she hadn't been online for four months, when I've seen her on AIM since I got my connecton back on Saturday. Even now, she is signed on.

Here's a little exchange we had after I saw that she had logged on:

Legoboy1: "OMG, I haven't been online in four f***ing months!" :-\
Dugley: dont talk to me
Legoboy1: k
Dugley: for a couple of weeks if possible
Dugley: right now i really hate you

She didn't take my refusal too nicely, as you can see.

Anyways, I actually got a good amount of sleep last night, from about 1-1:30ish to 11-something. I woke up and went to my computer. My sister told me to contact a mutual friend about something.

That "something" was laser tag. I went with my friends Eric, Steve, and Matt a.k.a. "Majewski", "Jewski", "The Jew." They're all Seniors at my school in my sister's class.

A few of my Sophmore friends were there as well. 6 games for $10 sure did attract a number of people. We played two of ours and then got vouchers for the other four.

Eric, Steve and I went to the mall so Steve could get his car sound-proofed at Tweeter's. That was at about four o'clock. The car would be ready at seven.

So, we walked around the mall, grabbing Maui Waui's. Maui Waui's are a kind of blender-made fruit drink sold at the mall. Eric and I got large refillable Tiki cups, Steve got a small.

We wandered about, eventually ending up in a video game store. We played Mario Kart: Double Dash, rotating after each race. If I had the first controller and Eric had the second, after the race I would step back, Eric would grab 1P and Steve would get the second controller. It went on like this for a good while.

After playing, we headed to the food court. Our friend Charlie showed up, and we showed him the wonders of Maui Waui. Eric and I got refills, Steve got a refillable Tiki cup, and Charlie got a Mango Orange Maui Waui.

We wound up spending roughly the rest of our time on the escalators. We went up, we went down, and continued on for quite a while. Charlie and Steve eventually dropped out for fear of being recognized and taunted. Eric and I continued onward. It was a fierce competition, and we didn't trust each other enough to say: "Let's just both get off at the same time."

We eventually made a "gentleman's accord" to continue the competition later. After several steps and an equal number of double-takes we moved onward. Basically, we went home.

Well, actually, I got dropped off at the Confirmation class I had forgotten about. I was half an hour late already. I went there, did that, and was driven home by my older brother. I ate dinner (which you can view in my AIM profile until the next time I update) and came upstairs.

I know there are more meaningful things to talk about, but I have exams tomorrow (I think; I've heard conflicting views)

The newest of my alter-egos has yet to have a designated title. He speaks in a small font and Italics, and sinuously threatens to kill people. Any ideas?

Chat Ben is freaking out at the moment because of an extreme lack of anything to steal.

My alter-egos are so cool sometimes.....

   Self-discipline......ha......
8:30-9:00ish: Yeah, I guess I'll just go to bed. There isn't really much for me to do.

10:00ish I'll just re-read a few of these webcomics. Just a few, though.

12:30AM: I should be asleep by now. I haven't slept, like, at all this weekend.

Here's a rough record of my sleeping for this weekend...

Friday, stayed up until about 4:30AM Saturday morning, slept until about 7:00. Went home. Slept from about 7:00AM-9:00AM.

Saturday passed by. Saturday night rolls around. My Uncle fixes my Internet connection. I'm up until 1:30AM doing stuff on the Internet. I get to bed.

I get woken up a little before 7:00AM today so I can go and work at a fundraising breakfast. I am now typing this particular line at 12:36AM.

*tries to wring out something coherant*

Christina and Victoria came to the breakfast after Mass. So I sat and talked with them while they ate their breakfast. I drank lots of tea this morning, incidentally.

It was very nice to talk to the two of them. They would both like to go to St. Bernard's next year (my High School) but neither of them knows if their parents can afford to send them there. It would be quite disappointing if they weren't able to go.

Fortunately, they both are planning to join the Church Youth Group, which would keep me in touch with them.

I've developed a new alter-ego, it seems; one that is bent on killing people. Shinmaru especially knows what I am talking about.

Okay, I've actually managed to exert enough willpower to force myself to wrap up this post and get some sleep. Good night all.

Or rather, good morning.

   Must....update...
I finally got my Internet working again! As it turns out, my virus-protection software was the problem. ¬_¬ I uninstalled it and installed Norton's instead. That cleared things up after a few hours of toil. My Uncle was over for my dad's birthday party, and he helped me get it back together.

Oof...a bunch has happened since I last had a meaningful post.....

Well, I fenced in the JV Tourney last weekend. After a few bouts to get an approximation of ranking, I was placed 28th out of 67 participants. Only the top 32 were permitted to continue on. I was lucky to scrape through. ^_^

Unfortunately, my first Direct Elimination bout (you lose, you're out) was against one of my own team mates. He's a lanky left-handed Senior. Neither one of us liked the arrangement, but there really wasn't much we could do. Either way our team would lose a chance at winning. I was in a mental bind. If I lost, I was out of the competition; if I somehow mirculously won, I would have knocked out one of our better chances at winning.

I lost, 15-3. I had somewhat expected to lose, but I struggled to keep that thought from dominating my thinking. He had already had 5 points when I got my first one. Having gotten the point, I raised my arms up and hopped giddily. Yes....yes I did...:p

Since then a tentative rivalry has formed between the two of us. (*rolls eyes* Just what I need, another rival...) We give each other mock-evil looks and glare. It's fun. :p

Um, let me see. What else....

I had an overnight Lock-In with my church Youth Group last night. From 7PM to 7AM we could not leave the building. We had pizza, snacks, and drinks. Some of us played video games, others played basketball; lots of stuff happening. Every Lock-In we have, we play Man Hunt at Midnight. We turn off all of the lights in the building (it's actually a school) and hide. It's really very fun. I actually made it back to the base two or three times. Heh...good fun....

I had another fencing meet this morning, so I got a few hours of sleep at and after the Lock-In. Not enough that I should be up right now, but hey, I just got my Internet working again. A post is due.

Anyways, I didn't end up fencing at the meet this morning, as only Varsity was fencing today. I was already suited up, so I just did a few drills to improve my point control. Basically, I poked a doorknob a heck of a lot of times.

The Seventy-Five Cent Empire a.k.a. the S.F.C.E. has actually been pooling its resources. People within the organization have actually begun collectively gathering their money towards a hitherto unseen common goal. I'm glad that it is actually beginning to work. Surprised, but glad. Anyone else interested in joining the S.F.C.E. contact me for details.

W.H.A.T.E. is lacking posts, as usual, and my hands are tied since I made the last post. I could edit it and repost it, but it's already a hefty post. Heh, that and I like cliffhanger-ish posts. :p I'm actually looking for more people to post in it if anyone is interested....

I fully intend to post in Shinmaru's RPG tomorrow but I will make no promises. It would be possible to do, since my internet is functioning again, but I don't know if I'll be up to it with little sleep and a busy day. Bah...intentions are useless...

I'm going to repeatedly make use of the line
"I was cursed by a wizard named Random." in the RPG.

I really must be going now, I have a Pancake Breakfast to work at tomorrow morning and sleep to catch up on, too.

Seeing everyone writing letters to each other makes me want to get into it, too. Does anyone want to be my penpal?

Exams.......w00t....
Yes, exams. And an Internet connection that doesn't work. I don't feel particularly comfortable posting from this computer, too many prying eyes...

*shifty eyes*

I must go now, to Drop-In. And to study for my two exams tomorrow. I will hopefully get my connection fixed tomorrow after school.

Hopefully.....

EDIT: Whoah...I passed Manic. Yay for me.

Next thing you know he'll scoot up to page two, leaving me once again in the dust...

Bah! Hum (Read: Internet) Bug! (Read: Trouble)
Eh...I did something and my Internet connection, which was already sporadic and messed up, just plain isn't working.

I'll have to get back to you all later, I guess. Au revoir!

"It is not always a fool who sends another on a fool's errand."
I think I might have just posted the topic of this twice, but no matter. I couldn't think of any topic to put, so I just tossed in that quote.

School today. Yeah....Um...It was a day F.

Period G: Honors World History II. Notes and such. I managed to make a few people laugh, too. What made it particularly nice was that they were popular people. Yay for me. >.>

Period H: Honors French III. Went over our exam study guide and got the last fifteen minutes to ourselves. It was pretty nice. I got my painting critique in on time, too.

Period A: Off. I spent my Off today in the computer lab, what I often like to refer to as "The Nerd Lair." It's nice, because the lab is usually open to students when there isn't a class. I went and played Flash games, hanging out with a few of my nerdy Senior friends, who were playing Risk online.

Period B: Chemistry. More review for the exam. I know this stuff, gosh darnit...And the teacher of the class; this is his first year teaching. He's not sure enough of himself, I think. He is too easily interrupted and/or drowned out. He needs maintain discipline.

Period C: Theology II. We went over the exam, and got our quizzes and tests back from the year to help us study. This might be one of the more difficult exams, simply because of its size and the wide range of essays. There are many varying topics that our teacher could pick, and I know that there are some topics I will not be prepared to discuss in an essay.

Period D: Photograpy. We went over the exam today, pretty much question by question. The study guide we were given will definitely be very helpful in preparing for the exam.

Period E: Algebra II. Review, review, review. I was glad to have some revision of the materials we covered in the beginning of the year, as there were ways of doing things that I had almost forgotten. After one example on a certain type of equation, I was back in the loop. I knew what I was doing. The exam for this class is going down. :p

School ends. I get a ride from school to Sacred Heart from my friend Charlie. I wait for classes to get out, and then gather my younger siblings; our aunt was bringing us home today. My aunt, incidentally, teaches third grade at Sacred Heart.

Apparently something happened with my younger sister today, but no one seems to want to tell me about it. From what I could gather, she was taken out of the classroom to talk with one or more teachers, and it was assumed that she got in trouble. People were talking with her like she was made of glass. I don't know what happened, and it bugs me.

Anyways, I came home and fought with my Internet connection for some time on OB and AIM. I had little success. I really need to find out just what the problem is. I'm getting tired of being kicked off just before I post something or reply to an IM.

Tonight, instead of our regular practice, my fencing team had a scrimmage against another high school. They were fairly new to the sport, and it showed in some of their fencers. I defeated one of them 5 to 1 in my first bout. He got the point because he had moved before I did, basically.

So I waited until my next bout came up. We had many more people than they did, so each one of us only got up to fence once. Except me, and the new team captain. I wonder if something was meant by that, now that I think about it. Maybe I need more practice? Or maybe they just wanted someone good to go twice? *shrug* I don't really know.

In my second and final bout, I swear that their was something amiss. There was no way that he had applied enough pressure to compress the tip, which is how we determine who gets the touch. I just barely felt the touches he got on me, and he most obviosuly wasn't applying any/much force to his blade. His arm was bent almost the entire bout. I lost, a humiliating defeat of 1 to 5. I swear, there was something different about that foil. My teammates who fenced the kid agreed, the tip was super-sensitive or something. They also knew that I would not make up a lame excuse for my loss.

I got home a bit later than I normally do after practices. I had to help pick up all of our equipment and put it away.

So, I came home and began posting this. I think that without logging on to AIM, just having this window open doesn't crash teh Internet connection. Bothersome, but necessary, I suppose.

Boba Fett and I may be seeing each other on Saturday, maybe even fencing one another. If we do see each other, we'll have to be sure to get pictures. ^_^

And if he doesn't show up....ooooohhh....he will face my wrath. At some later date..... -_-;

I'm waiting for someone to post in W.H.A.T.E. so that I can keep the story progressing. I really want to write something. I don't quite know what, but I just need something to write. Writing here helps, but it's not quite the same. I need something new to write about. A new, good RPG, or a new short story or fanfic. Something.

36 days until I go to Disney World and Universal Studios. ^-^

Arcadia must fall. :p (And we must meet, in Florida...)

Let me see what I can manage for tonight....
Let me just start by saying that any and all typos in this post are probably due to the gloves that I am wearing. I am wearing gloves becuase the temperature around here has dropped, and my room does not yet have heat. We've definitely got to get working on that. >.> (I like the gloves though, they've got Spongebob on them, and when you move them, the picture changes. ^-^)

So let me see, where to begin. School, I guess. I'll go through my schedule, that seems to help. Today was a day E.

F Period: Honors English II. I got the unpleasant news that unless I want to get an Incomplete and be tossed in Study Hall, I need to have in my possession on the day of the Midterm every single test and quiz we've taken since the beginning of the year.

Now, our teahcer has offered after every one of those test and quizzes to hold them until our exam. We all just assumed that was for our own good; so that we could study for the exam. We were only partially right. Having kept some of them, we put ourselves at risk of losing them, and thus getting an Incomplete; a possible failure, I think it equates to. I just didn't think it was fair. My friends and I have agreed, if she fails us because of that, having not warned us of this at the beginning of the year, that we would take it up with our Principal.

G Period: Honors World History II. Our teacher was out today, and instead of leaving an assignment or a movie for us to watch, he gave our sub the go-ahead to just flat-out teach us. Mr. Currie, who was substituting for our history teacher, is a History teacher himself. Several people in my class thought that he did a much better job of explaining things than our regular teacher. While I did enjoy his style of teaching, as I did indeed understand it better and taking notes was easier; Mr. Currie didn't have the same bizarre quirks as Mr. Lacey, our regular history teacher.

So, yeah.

Period H: Honors French III. My test today on French painters didn't go so well. I managed to identify most of the paintings, but struggled on both the painters of the pieces, and the periods of art. If I made just one mistake in the chronological order, pretty much all of them would be wrong.

I think I got all of the maybe 8 multiple choice question though.

A Period: Off. I borrowed a friend's Bible to study for our Gospel test in Theology today. After looking over the first few chapters, and then all of them, I realized that I already knew the stories and teachings. I closed my book and helped a friend look for his wallet. He found it in his binder, where I'd thought that it would be. Lucky guess, I suppose; considering he had said that he put it in his binder....

Lunch: When I get the chance, I hurry along my lunch and then go to the computer lab a.k.a. "Nerd Lair" to play Yu-Gi-Oh with one of two friends. I lost today for the first time in a while, right at the last second too. He drew the last piece of an instant winning combination and I was defeated. I didn't do too bad considering he kept resetting the game (almost).

Period B: Chemistry. We reviewed for our exam. Nothing that I didn't already know.

Period C: Theology II. I aced teh Gospel Test, easily finding all of the passages that we were assigned to find in Matthew. Each quarter we're given a different Gospel to read. Eventually we (read: I) will read them all. My classmates rely on study guides off of the Internet to locate their answers. This is the second that I have taken and aced so far. I was the only one in my class to ace it, I believe.

Period D: Photography. We listened to more oral presentations and got a sheet of things that we would have to know for the exam. I don't think that it will be much of a problem; all we have to do for the essay is describe the steps to developing black and white film (or maybe is was photographs, I don't remember) which I did a great deal in the darkroom. Besides, Mrs. Kainz adores me.

And that was my school day, pretty much. I went down to Sacred Heart (the bus drops us off near its parking lot). Walking across the parking lot (which has to got to be a good hundred yards or so long) in a bitterly cold wind is not fun.

I hung out there for a while and talked with a few of my friends once they were dismissed. Then my dad showed up and we went home. I didn't do my painting critique for French like I had intended, instead I went to OB and MyO and such.

I brought my laptop down to the Drop-In in order to work on my critique, but ti just didn't happen. By the way, childproof outlets are a major pain to plug things into, especially a three-pronged laptop power adapter. It turns out I left some papers at home that I thought I needed. I watched "The Emperors Club", I think it was called. It was an intellectual movei, much like "Finding Forrester", "Good Will Hunting", and "Dead Poets Society". I liked it, but the others just didn't grasp its significance. I actually used my movie critics intuition and guessed what was to happen. I guessed right. *shrug* I'm not one to judge movies, but I can usually tell what is going to occur. Lucky me, I guess.

I came home at 10:00-ish and did my critique. It is a fine piece of work, in my opinion. I think that it will fetch me a good grade to make up for my abysmal performance on today's French test.

My room is quite chilly, so my parents forced my sister to give me one of the space heaters from her room. She had three, and I had none. I guess it was fair in their eyes that I get one of hers. Anyways, the heater smells bad and doesn't actually heat my room, but I suppose I can't really judge the difference now that I've been sitting here for about an hour.

Hmm...fencing practice tomorrow night, and the JV tournament on Saturday. I've finished all of my major projects, so I guess the only thing to do is last out the two days of review. And then the weekend, and then.....exams.

I'm not particularly worried about exams. Much of my work this year has been stuff I learned before. I took some chemistry in eighth grade. I've had religion since Kindergarten. I know the photography material. Algebra II I learned in eighth, maybe even seventh, grade. English will be my major stumbling block, though. I just can't think the way that I am supposed to in order to understand. And knowing my teacher the way I do, there will be nothing plesent about that test. Her idea of a "freebie" is vocab that only a few people understand. I am not one of the few. Some of the words I know how to use in context, but others I can't even determine their part of speech. :p

History will be okay, I know most of the material. French...eh...we'll see how it goes. This is the first year that we haven't really had chapterly tests.

On another note, the Seventy-Five Cent Empire has taken a new swing. Tim and I, co-dictators of the Empire have managed to start collecting dues from our so-called vassals. I'll keep you updated on further developments....

Another note, W.H.A.T.E. is apparently unkillable. After about a month of no posting, it came back and multiple posts have been made in it already.

Okay, it's quarter after 12. I'm going to bed soon, but first I'm going to sign onto AIM and see who's around.
