Hey, whoah! After 10:00!
I lost track of time, and almost ran out of it before I could get a post in for today. *shakes fist* I'll not be knocked out of TehSillyCircus2 so easily!

So, yes. That is what this MyOtaku longest consecutive day posting thing is being called. Shin conveniently had Syk3 make a picture, banner, advertisement thing for it. Hopefully he'll put it up soon, if he hasn't already. Heh, it's a neat picture.

Today, I got some reading done in Flags of Our Fathers, which really is an interesting book. I just would rather do other things more than I would like to read it. >_>

Even though it's required reading for my class. :p And I start on the first of September, I believe. Before that day comes, however, I've got to finish Flags of Our Fathers, find and read: The Scarlet Letter, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Red Badge of Courage, and one other great work of American literature, which I don't remember even what it is.

In addition, I have to find, buy, and read a large book for AP History, and then write a section by section summary on said book. Our teacher estimated at 16-22 pages.

Difficult? Of course.

Impossible? For some.

Impossible for me? Of course not.

I have been dubbed the Procrastinator King in several circles, because of my uncanny ability to complete large academic projects over very small periods of time; in most cases, overnight. And with a passing grade on every single one to date.

It's time to pull off another amazing feat in the next two weeks. Can I do it?

Who thinks I can't?

It'll get done. Eventually.

In the past hour or so, I've dueled my friend Chris twice. Both times I've won, with 5000 or more of my LifePoints intact. I faced John earlier, and he walloped me once again. I think I just got a bad draw against him, because Chris is not a heck of a lot better than John. Heh, Chris is more fun, I think. He and I will get little snippets of conversation in between turns, and because of that, my AIM acting skills pay off a lot.

Reading both Solo and Mimmi's accounts of their meeting in London only strengthens my desire to meet somebody from OB in person. Unfortunately, nobody seems to vacation in Connecticut. v_v

I tell you, they should build a Disney right here, or something. Get a second Eiffel Tower or build a slanting tower. Something that could be used as a tourist attraction. The only things we have really are the Subway Franchise headquarters, Pfiser World Headquarters (or something like that), and our submarine making businesses (We're the submarine capital of the world! Yippee!)

I'm sure there are people who live on the East Coast other than me, but the ones I've noticed I either don't know them well, or they're at the lower end. v_v;;

All of this talk is a bit ridiculous, however, as I'd be a bundle of nerves should I ever actually meet anybody. :p I don't think I'd do too bad as part of a group meeting together, but one on one just isn't my thing usually. But still....ergh....it just sounds like everybody from OB who gets together seems to enjoy it so much, you know? =P

Hehehe, I should try to meet up with somebody who fences or plays Yu-Gi-Oh. We could have a "Clash of the OB Members" or something cheesy like that. Heh, that'd be fun.

Moving on...

I've been getting Olympic ambitions, believe it or not. O_o' It may just be all of the frantic moving about I've been doing to watch the Olympics, or the fact that my mom gets so hyped up about them every year, but something has definitely put the desire in me.

A lot of the athletes I see on TV are either my age, or only a few years ahead. A few of the fencers there, I think I read, they had only been fencing for about a year or two! I just know that it would be a lot of work, and I don't know if I could take that in addition to Junior year, with all of the college searching and stuff I will be doing. And then there's also the question of my writing. If I wholly devote myself to fencing, will I have time to write?

There's a lot of considerations I'd have to take, and there'd be a lot of commitments I'd have to make. I've never been good at committing to something, really. Maybe the Olympic hype will wear off, and maybe it won't. We'll see what happens, and whether or not ambition will lead me anywhere.

I've got another duel with Chris lined up and waiting, so I'll leave now and post up the results probably tomorrow.

Good night.
