*send Mimmi a Hershey's Kiss, and then ships the candy that Solo didn't wrest away to Florida* >_______>;;

Have a ball.

Today was okay, as far as school goes. I made up one of my two missing Sociology tests and got an eighty-five or so, which is better than I had expected, after taking the test. >.>;;

I had the first period of the day Off, so I studied for Sociology and did my Pre-Calculus homework. Second period, the Seniors left and I had no real class. I made up my Sociology test, and realized that I really did need to know the names of the people from the book. *ahem*

Next, I had another period of nothing-ness that I used to work on...um...ah, right! I started working on my *cough*overdue*cough* Psychology homework. Then was Pre-Calculus, which was moderately boring, and lunch.

Skipping right along, after classes were finished we had an assembly, celebrating the academic achievement of a bunch of people in the school. We (the academic achiever-people) got to walk up on stage and receive a generic "Academic Excellence" certificate. Yay, don't I feel special? :D

Well, not. Not really. It was dull, and pointless.

I went home, and managed to avoid doing homework until 6:00, right when I had to leave and go set up for my church's new Youth Group's informational meeting. I'm on the "Board" of directors, I guess you could say. We make the plans and such, and try to get the youths to go along with them.

Now, I'd missed the last few meetings of the Board, and so I didn't really know what to expect. I was under the impression that the project of building a new Youth Group was falling by the wayside. But tonight really showed me what I hoped to see. We had a bunch of people; several from the old Youth Group, and a handful of new people. ^_^

Christina and Victoria were both there. I'd given Victoria a flyer about it on Sunday, and she'd dragged Christina along. Not that Christina didn't want to be there, she just hadn't really heard much about what was going on.

Heh. It was a fun night. We did some pretty goofy activities in order to get introductions across and names memorized. Everybody had a good time, from the looks and sounds of things, and I just felt really good about that. I enjoy having a group of people I can hang out with outside of school. I may not like all of them, but I can deal with those that I don't particularly like. I don't dislike them, they're just rather bothersome at times.

Christina and Victoria both expressed an interest in continuing on with the Youth Group, and a definite interest in some of the activities we had planned.

*huge grin*

I'm just really happy right now. Something is actually coming together as it should.

Ha ha, now if only I had done my homework. =p
