   Halloween......-athon!
Tomorrow is the day of my school's "Halloweenathon." It's a five mile walk to raise money for our school. In the past couple of weeks, we were supposed to go out and ask for pledges of money from people; family, friends, neighbors, strangers, whoever. If you get $30, tomorrow you can come in a costume, to fit the Halloween theme, or you can just come in out of uniform.

Those who do not bring in $30 are not allowed to walk. Instead, they are assigned to hand out water at designated stations along the path. The thing is, they'll be stuck at that station with one of the teachers. For an hour, or so. :p Most students would rather be out walking, talking, and fooling around with their friends.

I've got $10 from my mom's friend, and my grandparents sent a $20 check in the mail. Unfortunately, it has not come yet. >___>;; So, I'll have to somehow finagle my way around that.

I may have mentioned this before, but tomorrow I'm going in costume as my friend Matt. Our teachers and even classmates get us mixed up all the time. We thought it would be pretty funny to trick them up a bit. ~_^

We're wearing relatively similar pants, and we're each bringing in duplicities of shirts we have to choose from. We've each taken our school photos, made a copy of them, and we're turning them into masks to wear tomorrow. I did this last year, and got some rather interesting reactions. ^_^ I can't imagine what it will be like with me and Matt in the same class. :D Other than: hilarious. I can just see some of our teachers double-taking, or calling one or both of us Ben, or Matt. We had also considered really screwing with people by switching the masks throughout the day. So, while people think the Matt-Mask is on me, it will really be Matt underneath. I can see people being surprised by that, heh.

Classes tomorrow are all a half an hour long, I believe, except for "the long period" which is thirty-two minutes long. We have all of our classes in the morning, then lunch, and then we all walk around the grounds multiple times. 'Tis fun. ^_^

But, as usual, I've put off my homework until the late evening. I still need to go out and make a copy of my picture after that, too. Fortunately there is a CVS nearby that's open 24 hours a day, and has a picture modifier thingy.

Maybe tomorrow night I can get some adequate sleep....
