   The End is Near
Well, I'm limited on time and stuff to talk about, so I'll fall back on the schedule of my day, and embellish as necessary. I think I'm good at that. Or maybe it's just the sleep deprivation totally whacking out my senses. Who knows? :0

So, first period today was Sociology. I used the first five minutes to finish up my last two problems for Pre-Calculus. I didn't get them done last night because of "Mr. Procrastinator." He reared his oh-so-similar-to-mine-and-therefore-handsome head and prevented me from completing my work. Bah, I say to him. Bah!

The rest of the period was the usual notes and kooky discussion that always generates from it. Sociology is such an interesting topic to study because it has so much practical application in today's world. Examples of deviant behavior are everywhere in our society. This, consequently, makes it a bit easier to teach for Mrs. Bednarz, because for the most part we can relate to what it is that she is saying.

French was...well, French. =p I got back my guided composition, with a 9/10 grade on it. I had a bunch of accents backwards (I've never been very good at them) and I think I missed a subject-verb agreement somewhere. So, all in all it was pretty good.

Pre-Cal. Yech. I understand how to do the problems, and how to set them up. It's just these random facts that Mr. Pukstas wants us to know that I simply don't see the relevancy of. I mean, why can't the Sine of a number be considered "Opposite over hypotenuse" instead of "Y/R"? That's the way he talk it to me in the first place! SOHCAHTOA! And now he's changing things, and it's making me confused.

We corrected some take-home tests in English. My friend Gillian and I had been debating an answer yesterday in our Off period, and as it turns out my answer was correct. ^_^ She argued it, though, and so Mr. Lamoureux threw the problem out. =/ Points of mine down the drain. But, it proved that I had interpreted the poem correctly whereas she had not! The support she had for her argument was spurious and falsely based. I didn't realize that her support was faulty at the time we were debating it, otherwise I could have swept her whole position out from under her. Nuts.

We got some information about purgatory today in Theology, although not the entire argument for it. I'd really like to get this stuff in my notebook and readily accessible so that next time some thread in the Otaku Lounge brings it up, I can defend the faith. Yay-ness. ^_^

Psychology was interesting; we were given a sheet with optical illusion stuff on both the front and back. We took some notes and more kooky stuff was brought up. =p

History was my final period of the day, and I knew that we had a test this period. I had expected, though, the same sort of test we've had all year. Lots of multiple choice (guess) and fill in the blank questions. Maybe an essay or two.

The test was about 2-4 pages, front and back. Everything was mini-essay/short answer. There were lines enough for a short answer, but the answers themselves required a short essay. It was a fine line to walk. The thing about this test was that it required you to have an intimate knowledge of this chapter from the book. I didn't know everything from the chapter, and so I don't expect I did as well as I would have if the test had been in the regular format. u_u'

I stayed after for a couple of minutes to finish up the test, and then got changed and went to work on the Drama set. Today I laid down tape on the lines I drew yesterday, and somebody painted over them, as they were supposed to. Then I rolled some water/glue solution onto a large piece of fabric in order to stiffen it and made it more susceptible to paint. That's about it, I believe. Then those of us who were left just sort of hung out onstage and chatted for a while. Anastasia (Sophomore girl, plays the main part in the play) was there with a bunch of other Freshman/Sophomore girls so we talked with them for a while.

I stepped out for a little while, and was accosted by a girl in my class, Britney. Well, not so much accosted as stopped and talked to for a very long time. She was rather hyper, and she was stuck at school for a while before her sister would come and pick her up. We talked about random stuff, and my ingrained manners prevented me from telling her to leave me alone. >> She talked endlessly, and I really wanted to get back to the auditorium.

Eventually she went and got some chips from the vending machine, and I made a break for the auditorium. When I got there, though, nobody was there! O_o;;

I later found out that they (Ryan, Zach, Anastasia, and...somebody) had gone out to dinner. Without me! Anastasia said that she knew somebody/something was missing, and apologized profusely. Ryan was apologetic too, and said that had I been in the auditorium he surely would have invited me along.

So, sometime after play practice began, I wandered around the lobby, eating my dinner of packaged vending machine-bought dried fruit and a bottle of water. =p

My mom was on call tonight, and was busy at work, so she couldn't pick me up. My dad is still recovering from the surgery he had last Friday, and is unfit to drive. So, I got a ride home from Tyler's (Freshman, used to go to SHS with me) mom and watched Whose Line is it Anyways? with my dad and sister.

Tomorrow morning, 9-1 I have tech crew stuff. More set building/preparing and such. And then, tomorrow night I had fencing practice from 6:00-8:30. It'll be fun to fence again, but my day isn't left with much time to do homework or other important stuff.

Like laser tag with David. =p
