I've really got to get out of this habit of posting late at night. I run the risk of falling asleep or something. =p That, and I wind up being pressed for time.

So, I woke up today pretty late. 11-something. I actually got up earlier, like 9, but decided that I should get as much sleep as I conveniently could. When I finally did get up, I turned on my heater and plopped myself in front of my laptop. I checked a couple of my friends' Away Messages.

"SNOOOOOOOOW!!!"

It took a couple of messages such as that to convince me to actually go over to my window and take a look for myself. Lo and behold, there was indeed snow! Not a heck of a lot, but hey, it was totally unexpected. ^_^

So, I'm sitting there at my computer for a little while, browsing OB and MyO, and then I hear footsteps on the stairs coming up to my room. I recognized them as my dad's footsteps, as his tend to be a bit heavier than the rest. He leaned into my doorway, and waved me over towards him. He held up a white paper envelope about the size of a good book. It was a little U.S. Postal Service package that just came in the mail today.

He pointed at the recipient address. It was addressed to me, at our house. He then pointed to the sender.

ALEIA!

My dad helped me to open it, as I was still waking up and couldn't see all that well without my contacts in. In it we found a couple different Egyptian candies, an envelope, and an Evanescence CD!!!!!

^__________^

I ate the candy for breakfast, and immediately popped the CD into my laptop. It's been playing ever since. =)

My opinion still holds: Evanescence is the only band/group/singer that I like every song I've heard by them. Partially because I don't seek out music, I'd imagine. I'm sure I could find some other entity that I like as much, or find some Evanescence song I don't like. But, heh, that has yet to happen. ^_^

I watched Pulp Fiction either last night or this morning, and I've yet to get around to watching Big Fish. I'll probably watch that tomorrow morning. I went to Mass this evening, so I have all morning tomorrow to do what I want. I work from 12-5, though, so some of that "whatever I want" ought to be homework. >>

Oy. I've already been told to go to bed twice by my dad, so I'd best be off.
