"I set my priorities, and you weren't first."

*points up* I've always wanted to say that to a teacher, believe it or not. A couple of my teachers say they understand how time-consuming some of our extra-curricular activities can be, and they know that we have to set priorities. And yet, they still come down hard on people whose homework is late. I would just so love to throw a line like that right back in their faces. *vicious grin*

I've been juggling my homework around set construction and play practice for the past week, or week and a half, maybe. It...hasn't turned out that well...

I tried so hard to enjoy my weekend that I totally forgot about the History homework I was supposed to do, and so I didn't have it ready for Monday. I handed it in today to a frowning Mr. Currie. He accepted it, but I really don't like to disappoint him; he's such a nice guy! =(

I still haven't done my English outline, even though it was due last Friday. He forgot to collect them Friday, and he forgot to collect them yesterday. I was late to school today, and so I was late to his class. I guess he had collected them in the time where I was not present, as at the end of the period he handed back everybody's corrected/reviewed outlines. Except mine, as I hadn't turned one in. (Un)Fortunately for me, he didn't ask for mine. It just slipped his mind, I guess. And, I don't have English tomorrow, so I don't have a strong obligation to get it in to him tomorrow, either.

It's almost like "the system" is helping me out. Hmph. Weird.

I nearly fell asleep in Theology class today. We were watching a movie about cults, and a fascinating as the subject was....well....it was dark, and the person on TV was droning...and...and.....Zzzzzz....

Okay, I didn't actually fall asleep. But I came pretty darn close. I started quite suddenly when Mr. Leone made a comment on the movie. That kept me alert for about ten second before I began slipping into a stupor.

The Saints Players aren't faring very well, considering tomorrow night is the dress rehearsal. There were still a bunch of instances tonight where people were calling "Line"! Far too many! They should have this stuff down pat by now!

Grrrr.....we've still got stage stuff to do tomorrow afternoon. Some last minute painting has to be done on the walls, and I need to make a convincingly dead garden. (Yay, I have a project to call my own!) I have all of the dead plants that I need, and I have some scaffolding. I just need to go and tie the two together tomorrow after school.

I actually left school today, before 8:30! At 4:00, when we're scheduled to stop working on the set (we often run over) my dad came to pick me up. He drove me home, where I grabbed a bite to eat and changed my clothes. He then drove me over to "John's," a local barbershop. I got my hair cut, and then Whoosh! I was driven back up to St. Bernard's for play practice.

Once again, a girl commented on how nice I smelled. >_>;; And it wasn't Amanda this time, it was Lisa! We went to sit in the "audience" so we could perform our "stage manager" duties. We provide lines when they're needed, and critique positioning and tone and such. So, I sit down, and Lisa's still standing. She's looking this way and that, sniffing here and there. "Is that you? You smell nice."

"It...might...be." 0_o;;

*sniff*

"Oh, it is you! Sorry, I wasn't flirting or anything, you just smell nice." ^-^;;

So...yeah. I smell nice, I guess. Irresistible to women. *snicker* Riiiiiight. >>

I should be doing homework now. I don't have much to do, and so I may be able to get more than five hours of sleep! =O!

That would be cool.
