   Quite an Odd Lunch...
(Leftover) Wanton soup lightly poured over (leftover) white rice.

With two slices of pizza on the side? O.o

I have an extremely tolerant stomach, it would seem.

Anyways, now that I've eaten lunch, I've got some work to do. Rather than do it first and then tell you all about it, I'm going to put down in writing what it is I need to do.

1. See if I have any homework, and if so, do it.

2. Get my laptop hooked up to the Internet. My dad has alread made mention of it today, which is a very good sign.

3. Shovel snow. Where? When? Why? How? *shrug* I don't know, but I feel like I should be shoveling today.

4. Talk to godparents about being my Confirmation sponsers. I figured they'd be the best choice, as they're the ones who took repsonsibility for my Christian vows in the first place.

5. Decide on a saint and write a paper about them for Confirmation.

About numero five-o: I need to choose a Saint and adopt their name as my Confirmation name. The Saint is supposed to have some special significance to me.

I've narrowed it down to four based on a book of 365.

Saint Vincent of Lerins-He had trouble remembering things, so he wrote the Commonitorium to ensure his sanctity. The passage about him in this book is all about "special places", somewhere you can go to get away from everything and think. I feel that this is connected to me and my walk. I enjoy going on my walk, as it gives me an hour away from everyone and everything to just be by myself and to think about whatever I want to. I lose all the anxiety I feel about school projects and the like. My walk is my special place.

Blessed Brother Andre-The patron saint of laughter. I very much enjoy making people laugh. It just stirs some wonderful feeling deep inside me.

St. Cuthbert-patron saint of stories. I feel a link to St. Cuthbert because he is directly linked to imagination and the use of it. I love to use my imagination, whether it is writing something or losing myself in a character in a video game. When I was younger, I used to love pretending to be my favorite characters from movies or TV; it was just so great to be someone or something different than myself. To be able to do or be anything I wanted, just by thinking it. I love to listen to my mom dad, friends, siblings; whoever, I just like to listen to them tell stories about what has happened in their lives or their dreams. In a more biblical sense, Jesus taught people with stories.

St. Peter Canisius-patron saint of the overworked. Heh, there are a lot of times where I feel like I have far too much to do; but at other times I'm at a total loss at what to do. So for those times that I really just can't seem to have enoug hours in the day, I would take St. Peter's name.

A penny for your thoughts?
