WoW: Day Two
I got up this morning and walked down to Mass. My dad was working at the golf course, and my mom was already down at Sacred Heart setting up for Coffee and Donuts. Thus, no ride for me.

So, yes. An hour and ten minutes of mass, as per usual. >_<

Following that, I retired to the cafeteria for Coffee and Donuts. I read through the newspaper circulars, and had a couple donuts. Victoria, Melina, and Melina's sister Nadia showed up, so I talked to them for a couple of minutes. Then my mom decided to put us to work collecting presents around the school for the Youth Ministry's Christmas Drive.

What we do is collect a bunch of toys and such from the church-goers and students, and then we ship them down to the less fortunate people down in Selma, Alabama. We've done it every year for....a lot of years.

After that, Victoria went to Mass and the sisters had to leave. So, I went back to the cafeteria and got a headstart on my homework. I worked today from 12-5, so it was best that I get some homework done A.S.A.P.

I did a bunch of flash cards for my Sociology and Psychology classes, and then my sister came to drive me to work.

12-5....work.

Slow days at the library suck.

Especially when you have these people coming up to me and asking me for help.

I'M NOT THE ONE WITH THE DEGREE IN LIBRARY SCIENCES! GO ASK AT THE INFORMATION DESK!!!!11!1!!11!

Sheesh. I'm a 16 year-old page. Leave me alone. I'm just trying to do my job, which does not involve helping you. >=/

Whee, I'm bitter. =p

Anyways. It was a slow day at work today, which was not fun. Fortunately, all of the hours I've been putting in will pay off this Thursday, and the second Thursday to follow, and two Thursdays from there, and so on and so forth. Yay for incentive.

Most of my homework is done, I've just got a bunch of loose ends to tie up. A question or two in Theology, a couple of problems in English, etc.

When I got hom from work, I got right onto my computer and started playing World of Warcraft. It's been the source of much entertainment and frustration for me. I finally got to harvest something with my Herbalism techniques, and then I get killed before I can use the Herbs for anything. Fishing is fun, though. It's free, and I can sell the fish for a modest price. It's really very minimal but *shrug* it's something to do.

And did I mention it's fun?

I joined up with somebody from the Phantom League, the Guild I signed up for. With my signature, the Guild Charter became official, and I became a founding member of the guild. w00t!

I'm a bit behind the others as far as my Level goes, though. The guy I met up with, Orclin, was somewhere in the neighborhood of Level 13-15. I just got to 8 this evening. But, hey, I don't have as much time as he does, and my computer lags.

I cannot wait until the Christmas break, where I can play this game for hours on end. ^_^

I'd very much like to get a new video card by then, though, so that my game doesn't run so choppily.

Anyway, that's what went on today. I'm off to play more WoW. As soon as I figure out how to take screen shots, you can be sure I'm going to post a couple of neat ones. ~_^
