Now that was good.

I just spent the past hour or so lying in my bed with the blanket over me, reading. It's been so long since I've relaxed like that. Too long, probably.

It. Felt. Great.

Hopefully I'll have more of an opportunity to do that sort of thing over the vacation. Incidentally, mine starts tomorrow after school. ^_^

*content sigh* I've now got to write an essay and a critique for Photography, but I don't seem to be slamemd with the usual kind of stress that I normally have.

I'm just unusually content right now. It's an odd, nice feeling. I could get used to it.

Let me see what I can remember of my day...

B Period: Chemistry. I had a test today. The fact that it was open book hurt more than it helped, I think. Too many things that I couldn't be certain about, even with the book right in front of me.

C Period: Theology. We had some sort of discussion going on and then I left and went to the nurse's office. My stomach was hurting; I knew it was hunger pangs. Sometimes I get severe cases of hunger that incapacitate me until I eat something. So I told the nurse that I just needed something to eat, and she got me a pass and let me go to the cafeteria.

I bought two small cinnamon buns for seventy-five cents, my normal resolution to spend no more money on that food than necessary overcome by the need for something to be in my stomach.

I went back to Theology, where my teacher was defining people's names with a baby-name book.

D Period: Photography. Spent some time working on my critique. I went to the library under the guise of typing it up. Instead I located a listing of Pinky and the Brain quotes for a friend of mine. Funny stuff, heh. I'll post the site if I can find it again.

E Period: Algebra II. Test today. I can almost guarantee a 100%. I checked it over tiwce, something that I never do. I caught myself on a slip-up or two. I wish I were in Honors.

F Period: Honors English II. We did a presentation or two. I critiqued them. They should be finished tomorrow. That's pretty much it.

Second Lunch Period: Eh, I'll explain the whole First and Second Lunch thing later...

I bought a small cup of French fries and a cup of soda. Either the boycott worked, or they only took away free refills for one day. After wolfing down the fries and downing the soda, I joined three of my friends and we had a 2 on 2 duel in a secluded (freezing) staircase. Mark and I were doing fairly well together, but my current deck isn't made to win, so I'm uncertain as to the probable outcome. I'll tell you one thing though, having one Cyber Jar activated right after another is an unsettling turn of events.

Period G: Honors World History II. Note-taking. Five section reviews due the day we come back from vacation. Not much else.

Period H: Honors French III. More dozing off, I'm afraid. Whenever Mr. Ayres turns off the lights and I hear a monotone voice, BWAM, I'm struck with weariness. Got the essay question for a test we're taking right after we get back from vacation.

As one of my friend's so adequately put it: "Geez, these teachers don't want us to open any presents Christmas morning."

Or perhaps I'm the only one to interpret the comment correctly.

After school was team pictures. Maybe, if it's a good picture, I'll post it. Maybe I won't. We shall see.

Eh, went to Sacred Heart (my old school, in case you didn't know) after pictures. Hung out there for an hour or so. Came home, surfed the Interenet for a while, and then got into bed.

Perhaps tonight I'll get to bed at a reasonable hour.

Random Item in Ben's Room: Crocodile Claw back-scratcher. A real crocodile foreleg at the end of a thing wooden stick. The claws are used to reach those hard-to-get places on your back. Quite interesting to look at.

Ben's friend In Real Life:

I'm making this short and sweet for now, as my contentedness is shifting into apathy.

John. Yu-Gi-Oh duelist. One of the top in my school, has not had any victories over me in the past 4-5 duels. Has fewer inhibitions than one would normally have. Is incredibly good on a piano, I am told.

I'll get a more in-depth look at John later. Apathy is tightening its hold.

Arcadia must fall. :p

No, really, help me beat her, please.
