An update? What a novel idea!
Let's see, where to begin...

My internet connection has been.....[understatement]frustrating[/understatement]...

It will work fine for a few minutes, and then randomly stop working. I can either test the connection repeatedly, and then get it back for about a minute, or wait several minutes until it fixes itself, and then be on for a bit longer. I keep telling myself to find out what's wrong and how to fix it, but I keep putting it off or forgetting about it. Eck...

Something of note: At practice on Thursday I fenced twice electrically. We use electric equipment to determine score, basically. Do you remember the team mate I lost 15-3 to at the JV tournament? Regardless, I fenced him last night, to five points. He got four touches on me. the score was 4-0, again, first to five would win.

I came back and tied the score, 4-4. Considering how he routed me at the JV tournament, I was impressed, as was he and everyone else I excitedly told. Heh, despite my great comeback, he got the last touch and won. :) But still, after coming back like that against an extremely good fencer, it truly felt like a victory.

I fenced again electrically, against another team mate. It took me a few moments to adjust my thinking from fencing a left-handed fencer to fencing a right-handed fencer. I was fencing my friend, Ryan, a Junior who'd been fencing for 3 years. I beat him 5-3, and boy was he ever ticked about it. We had done one-touch bouts earlier; first fencer to score a point won. I was the first person he fenced, and I got a touch about the first ten seconds. He was not pleased. :p

I sure was, though. It seems like a sure sign that I'm getting better. We'll see how things turn out tomorrow morning, when I have a competition. According to my ever-so-reliable coach *rolls eyes* I will indeed be fencing tomorrow morning. I hope, as always, that I do well.

I got my report card today, and managed to get Second Honors, as usual. I'd get my report card and explain our Honor Roll system, but I'm too tired to do it right now. :p

RPG News: I'm making this section to remind myself of what RPGs I should be posting in; maybe guilt myself into doing something.

Children of Sharess. I signed up for this, Raiha's RPG (finally :p). It looks interesting, and I was even graciously invited to take part. I really didn't know too much about the world it takes place in, but there's a nifty webcomic that explains most of the stuff; the rest I just pestered Raiha about.

Hunter The Reckoning. It looked really good in the Recruitment forum, and still looks pretty good, but I just can't think of how to introduce my character. >.<

Duel Monsters: Quest for Exodia. An RPG with good potential that's going nowhere fast. Lots of short, low-quality posts. Deathbug is trying, but the overall quality is poor. I like it, though, because I play the part of a clown with a country accent. :)

OtakuBoards and the Quest for the Holy Otakubot. I've been trying to find a copy of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so that I'd have a better idea of what to post. Ishap could be a little more unfortunate, as well...

The Silmarillion. My character is at sort of a stand-still until Boba Fett does something. *hint* *hint*

When Humans are the Enemy. *cough* Right, got to work on that. >.> Silly Ben, help your own RPG.

I've been toying around with another idea for an RPG. One where people pick fairy tale characters to do something. (Note to self: Develop a plot) Sort of like how they are portrayed in the movie Shrek. Robin Hood shows up, as does Peter Pan, Pinnochio, etc., etc. It just seems like it would be fun.
