Oy...I'm so very tired.
I'm still having trouble getting to sleep at a reasonable hour. I usually post an update here somewhere in the 10:00 hour, which takes me a little while to flesh out. Then I sometimes go and get ready for bed, or I'll stay up to talk to people on AIM.
I just wish I could do it. I wish I could make myself be ready for bed and be able to fall asleep before midnight. Especially when I get up at 6-something every morning.
I don't really feel like talking about my day; from what I remember it was just another monotonous day of school. Tomorrow will be even worse; tomorrow my Off period drops out of the schedule rotation, meaning I will have all of my classes one after the other. It will certainly be the suck...
I went to fencing practice, as usual. I didn't really do much, as we're getting our novices ready for the Novice Tournament this Saturday. (The bus leaves at 6:30AM, yikes)
We wound up doing a footwork drill. It was basically running back and forth with swords pointed at each other. I was partnered with Steve, our left-handed senior. He ran me ragged, as I expected. I refused to stop, though. I felt like I couldn't keep going, but I continued on, despite having to slow down and limp. My persistence paid off, in a small way. Our captain made note that we were the only ones consistently moving. That made me feel a little better.
After the drill, I caught my breath and drank some water. I got a faint twinge in my stomach like I was about to throw up. It's an extremely rare event that I exercise to the point where that happens. I took a nice long break, since the Novices were the focus of the practice anyways, and then free fenced with John, a team mate of mine. (This is not the same John who plays Yu-Gi-Oh) Me went back and forth, trading points on and off. I'm happy to say that I tricked him several times. Multiple feints drew his blade out of position, and I struck! It was rather fun.
My dad came and picked me up from practice, and I came home. I've been wasting time ever since.
Nothing has changed in the Digipeep votes, unless people have edited, in which case I will be slightly disappointed.
I'm not up to an RPG update right now. Meh, I'm tired and I need a shower. Two girls at practice sniffed me for some reason while I was all sweaty, and thought that I smelled good... O_O Weird? Oh yeah, that's weird.
So, yeah. Must be going. Maybe get some decent sleep.
*cynical laughter* Yeah, right....
