Cue a squeaky fanfare!
Whee, I'm back!
Vermont was a nice chance to get away. It was much like I expected; nothing really to do except hang around the condo. I got a good deal of reading done, though, and progressed further in my Soul Calibur II game for Gamecube.
So, the weekend isn't really worth mentioning. I got more prescriptions on Friday to hopefully cure me of this long-standing disease. I've got pills to take twice a day, an inhaler to use twice a day, and then a different inhaler to use randomly throughout the day.
Not to mention the Advil I take to abate the pain in my chest.
(Isn't it kind of pointless to say "Not to mention" and then say what you weren't going to mention after it? Puzzling...)
I've paid off my whopping debt to my parents finally. I owed them somewhere around $200 for helping me pay for my laptop. After I was Confirmed, I got a good chunk of "congratulations" money which I used to pay back the debt. A few babysitting jobs later granted me some spending money. ^___^ I dislike being in debt, but I like being penniless even more.
After we got home from Vermont on Sunday night, I got straight to the History homework I had put off. It took me until 11-something to get it done.
Not that it was hard; it wasn't, really. I just could not sit and focus. Whenever I sat and tried to start working on it, I'd find something else to do. I think my problem goes beyond simple procrastination. I simply cannot do my work until it absolutely has to be done.
I don't like it. Not one bit.
I have an English paper due May 25th. I pray that I can somehow get that done. -_-;;
Going to school for te first time in nine days was a little weird, but I soon got back into the swing of things.
One of my classmates matted one of my pictures for me in Photography today. She didn't mind, so long as she had someone to talk to while she did it.
In Algebra II we had a review of everything we've done so far this Semester, in preparation for the exam in June. Basically note-taking.
In English we went over our plans for the next few days and then read a story about two fisherman who are killed by Prussian soldiers. If I can remember the title or author, I'll let you know; it was certainly an interesting read.
In History I turned in my homework, and found out that I had forgotten to fill in a map to turn in. I have yet to do that, still. :p Then we took notes. Yay.
After History I had lunch. I sat with Eric and some other Seniors. I stole a couple of fries and listened as they made plans to destroy my sister. (Long, long story...) I managed to snatch fifty cents off of one of them during the discussions. ^_____^ I love being devious.
In French we discussed the history of the French monarchy, which we've been doing for some time now.
During Off I found twenty eight cents in the cafeteria, scattered around the floor. Scrounging can be profitable sometimes. ^___^
Then I went to the computer lab and played games. :p
Next was chemistry. We've become stoichiometry. *snort* Easy, easy stuff.
After school I stayed after to work on the scenery for our upcoming play "Godspell."
Ack, I've got to go before I can finish. :p I'll try to get on later, probably tomorrow, and I'll fill you all in.
Thank you so much for visiting. ^______^
