Tonight's tally...
Eleven "lol"s, one in her away message, and one "lok".
I evoked that sort of response from someone I've never met before tonight. I got her name, number, general location....
I feel guilty about doing it; I might not have learned so much if I hadn't asked. But it was just...exhiliarating...to be able to subvertly pry this information out of someone.
I intend to talk with her again, to talk about more normal things; less personal. I'd like to make a new friend, but I can't do that if I'm being dishonest about it.
So...yeah. I met someone new tonight in a chat room. Shin made the room, and apparently someone had made a chat with the same name. The two merged, and we met three or four people who had been in the other chat. The creator of the chat ejected just about all OB members except me, Azure, and Petey. We managed to keep a discussion going and eventually scared them out of the room outlasted them.
One of them contacted me before she left the chat, wondering who I was. I bantered with her for a while; deliberately being vague and evading her questions. Then the idea came to learn about her. It turned into a sort of game. I subtly questioned her, informing other OB members of what I managed to get.
It was an interesting evening. Heh. Azure couldn't believe some of the stuff I was getting, and that I was getting it at all.
