I FOUND ANOTHER!!! I think this one is better than the other one though. Okay, okay, okay...too much is too much, but I couldn't modify my last post and just had to put this one up!! I really would have put this one here instead of the last one. I'm not SO obsessed that I would PURPOSELY put two sexy---*can't help but giggle like school girl*--videos of Gackt here. I LOVE MY GACKT BABY!!! He's so CUTE and HILARIOUS!!!

Gackt M.S. Camui (ƒKƒNƒg, but most often written in English, even in Japan) (pronounced "ga-ku-to" or "gak-to" ) is a songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist. He is very popular in Japan but has fans from all over the world, which he calls his "Dears". Gackt claims to have been imbued with certain psychic powers after nearly drowning in the Okinawa sea. He is a former singer for Cains:feel and Malice Mizer. It was during his time with Malice Mizer that he began to achieve national recognition, attracting a large number of fans to the group. Gackt enjoys egg salad and curry, and has been married once before.

He plays the trumpet, tuba, horn, trombone, piano, guitar, drums, bass, other standard orchestral instruments, and most traditional Japanese instruments.

Gackt can speak Japanese, English, Mandarin, Korean, and French, with varying degrees of fluency.

Life:

Early life Gackt has never released his real name or birth date. Since his Malice Mizer era, Gackt joked to have been a vampire born on July 4, 1540. Media speculation states that he was actually born on July 4, 1973.

Gackt was born in Okinawa, Japan and was raised by strict parents. At the age of seven, Gackt nearly drowned in the sea of Okinawa. According to his autobiography (Jihaku), Gackt developed paranormal abilities after being saved, seeing things and people that others could not. As a result, he was sent into isolation at a mental hospital. In the same autobiography, Gackt claimed that he did not want to have children so he wouldn't pass these problematic abilities to them.

Gackt is and has always been extremely competitive and has stated, "It's not that I want to win; it's just that I don't want to lose." His parents, both musicians, began his formal lessons in classical piano when he was three, even though it was physically impossible for him to play. After many years of having no real interest in these lessons, his competitive nature made him want to master the piano after seeing a friend play better than him. His musical preference later shifted to brass instruments after seeing his father play the trumpet. When Gackt turned seventeen, his taste in music changed from classical to rock. As a result of this, he began learning to play instruments that deviated from the classical standards of music, eventually focusing on contemporary rock.

Gackt started as a drummer for both a Japanese recording studio and an unknown band. Later on he formed the band, Cains:feel.

Solo career:
After leaving Malice Mizer, Gackt began a solo career with a band he created called "GacktJOB," which consisted of several members including:
You (violin/rhythm guitar), Yukihiro "Chachamaru" Fujimura (lead guitar/effects), Masa (rhythm guitar), Ren (bass), Toshi (drums), Yosh (choreographer/dancer), and Igao (keyboards). GacktJOB later added Ryuichi Ryu Nishida on drums and Ju-ken on bass. Gackt's live concerts often included homoerotic play (fan service) with some of these members.

Gackt's solo career has been a great success as he continues to maintain a level of popularity far greater than what he achieved with Malice Mizer. His fans (whom he calls "Dears") are from many different countries around the world.

In addition to music, Gackt has been involved as an actor in various TV commercials (usually playing himself), and in the Japanese drama Hero's Hero. He also co-wrote and co-starred in the hit vampire movie Moon Child with HYDE, vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel.

Gackt is also officially an author, having written Moonchild: Requiem, and several as-yet unpublished short stories. In 2003 he published his autobiography titled Jihaku, in which he displayed deep thoughts and described events that had a profound impact on his life. Gackt has worked as a runway model for his favorite designer, Yoshiyuki Konishi; designed his own stage-wear and clothing line; and opened his own private, members-only restaurant and bar, Tamaly Bar, complete with his own personal and family recipies.

Gackt was also involved in the PlayStation 2 game Bujingai, for which he performed some of the voices as well as doing motion capture for the game's protagonist. He has also appeared in Japanese commercials for the hit game Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and his name appeared on a dog tag in the game. Other voice-over work of Gackt's included the character 'Seiji' from the anime New Fist of the North Star (Shin Hokuto no Ken). He also performed the ending theme �uŒŽ‚ÌŽ��v, ("Tsuki no Uta") for the anime Texhnolyze.

Rumors on the internet cite Gackt as the model for the Final Fantasy VIII lead character design of Squall Leonhart. Said rumors state that the designer of Squall Leonhart was a big fan, but Gackt has never been officially credited.

However, a character with his likeness will appear in Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. The character will be created using video-capture and digitally inserted into the game instead of the more traditional animation. Although having little direct involvement in the game, his character is revealed through various G Reports hidden throughout the game. Gackt's identity in Dirge of Cerberus is thus known as G, the prototype to Shin-Ra's super-soldier, Sephiroth (or codename S).

In early 2005 he was asked to write and perform the theme songs for the Gundam movie Zeta Gundam: A New Translation, a movie eagerly anticipated by the anime-community. The songs were 'Metamorphoze' and a rearrangement of a previously released song,"Kimi ga Matteiru kara".

Gackt's next single, Redemption, is also the theme for Dirge of Cerberus, and will be released alongside the game (and its soundtrack) in January for Japan.

I had a B-, but that to the curve I got a B. I thought I was gonna get a horrible score at first and really felt like crying because I felt so lost!! It's feels like magic looking back on it now. LOL, it's one of the freakiest experiences I can think of. I wonder if my hand was possessed by some high form being. @__@ Man, okay I sound a little ridiculous there.<br /> <br /> N-E-Wayz, I'm doing great in my art history and got nothing but A's on the quizzes there. The only thing about that is that they aren't perfect scores. I know I sound a little ambitious, but it just ticks me off missing that perfect score by one point or two. I still haven't had a chance to talk with Professor Slaughter, but hopefully I can on Wednesday.<br /> <br /> Watched Advent Children with Angels and Gany!! ^__^ I couldn't control my laughing and squealing. *Slight Blush* Man, I feel a little embarrassed looking back at my behavior now. Aw, who cares right? I had a great time with them. The day after that Gany called me and asked if I wanted to go to East Hills Mall, Angels suggested the idea. LOL, they must have been reading my mind because that's EXACTLY where I wanted to go. <br /> <br /> My big brother can along too. He's always a little depressed and I felt so glad he could join us. After going to East Hills he took us girls out to the IHOP. It was sooooo fun. Although it was hard to eat and keep from spewing out food, it was worth the torcture. We were laughing so hard and it was just so fun. I missed Neko and Faye-chan though. *Sadness* It felt like eating at the lunch tables again. Poor Gany and her small portion lemonade. LOL!! Man, I'm never gonna look at lemonade the same now. I especially loved the comic idea we all made involving Angels finding a penny. LOL!! So many shirts and hats and jewelry and wall scrolls and anime that I had bought for around thirty dollars just eight dollars here. MAN!!! I wish I had came here first!!! There was sooooooo much stuf I was like a maniac giggling school girl stupidly jumping clapping my hands and squealing with so much joy. *Shakes Head* Oh well, I don't give a damn, I've never felt so happy before and it was just what the doctor ordered to get me out of this depressive rut I was in. <br /> <br /> So yeah, I had to touch everything at LEAST once to make sure it was real. So much joy I felt like I was going to either explode or have to rush and find a bathroom. I kept buying things coming back to the counter to buy more stuff. I had to bought some transparent collector's Sailor Moon cards Gany made a funny face. What can I say? I love to collect Sailor Moon Stuff because it was my first anime. I have a whole box of several sailor moon card sets, a barbie and plush doll of sailor moon, most of the mangas which are hard to find now, all the movies on VHS English and Japanese (I have to buy the DVD boxset of them!!!), several card stickers, The Super Sailor Moon DVD's (ones about pegasus), the first Super Sailormoon season (Uranus and Neptune) season recorded on tape, the Sailormoon marthon (Prince Diamond), and other sailor moon recordings which I've saved, a few posters, another doll set, but with her little bed too, a stuffed Artemis, and a Sailor Moon toothbrush which I've never opened.<br /> <br /> Yeah, I had thought of putting my collection in the fair competition for money, but I'm pertrified that someone will break in and steal my whole collection!!!! It happened before when someone entered their beanie babies collection. I would be sooooo devastated if it happened to me. Oh, I also have a wicked cool Sailor Moon Wall scroll in my room. ^__^ It's the only Sailor Moon thing of mine that on display. The rest is all neatly packed in a box hidden away at the top of my closet. <br /> <br /> Where was I before I got sidetracked? *Thinks* OH YEAH!! The store was soooooooo awesome!!!! I couldn't make up my mind what to get. I stayed so long with Gany that the store manager looked at me and looked surprised saying, "Oh! You're still here?!" I couldn't help but laugh and smile really big at him before running off to look at the Fruits Basket secetion once again. Man...there was the cutest anime purse that I would like sooooooo bad!!!! I try not to want a lot of stuff keeping myself under control, but this is something I just can't resist!!! THE SHOPPER IN ME NEEDS IT!!!!!!!! I hate to say I need something when I know I don't really. I just want it soooooooooo bad!!!!!! *Chibi Bena throws chibi tantrum.* *Teary eyes* It's a rice ball smiley face from Fruits Baskets and it's a purse. Yes, I rubbed my face on it a few times before leaving. OOOOOOOO!!!! I NEEDS MONEYS!!!!! *Dramatic fall to ground, followed by dark background, a spotlight on chibi Bena who is holding a blue hankerchef held in mouth* I really really want it more than anything. Heck! I'd sell Contraband to the nearest strip club just to get it!!!! LOL!!! It was just oh so wonderful and I hope to return with money to buy it.
