According to legend, the hero of time is the one destined to save Hyrule by travelling back and forth in time using the ocarina of time. The hero of time is the only one who can wield the mighty master sword.
The master sword is an ancient sword that was forged by the ancient Hylia to withstand evil powers. In order to wield it, one must obtain three symbols virtue. When the wearer is in perfect shape, the sword can be used to fire deadly projectiles.
