Dangerous vegetables

TIME: 7:38am, Thursday WATCHING: Spiderman commercial So, off to Drama Fest I go. Last nights performance of the plays for an audience was good. Went very clean. What didn't go well was Vancouver vs Anahime, Game 1. The Canucks got schooled, 5-1. Not cool. I almost lost round two versus the vegetables at work. Remember last Thursday, I sliced my thumb open. Now its like a chunk out of my thumb it seems. But anyway, the defeated the coli flower, but the celery almost took three fingers as its captives. Evil vegetables. Owned

TIME: 7:47am, Wednesday WATCHING: some Akon song Faber Drive = fucking awesome. Okay, so, the concert was insane. 5 bands. I actually didn't get to see Marianas Trench for the whole show. All I saw was ShakeTramp, then I had to leave. Parental Units = mean. Yeah, but, insane. I was very excited about Faber Drive, more so then Marianas Trench. They sounded better too. More fun. But, the show was fucking insane. I wish I had time to see if anyone got the contest.... I don't though. I don't even have time to do my English essay, pack for Drama Fest tomorrow, or anything else. eh.... damn. I'll see what I can do. So, more about the concert. Matt and I had a good conversation with the Marianas Trench drummer. Good times. His names Ian, and we talked about the Vancouver Canucks (who own) cause I was wearing my Vancouver hat, obviously. It was funny. Actually, we talked with most of the bands, cause we were by the equipment, sitting on tables. Again, good times had by all. Now I must go, to catch a bus. I'm in a rush, almost forgot to brush. Don't wanna go to school, make Matt look like a fool. Lisien to Faber Drive all day, go to Drama Fest Thursday. Maddddd skillz! CoDy

Not to my liking... but its beyonce

TIME: 7:47am, Tuesday WATCHING: "Beautiful liar" - Beyonce f. Shakira Nice days in a row: 7 Now, lets gauge my excit-o-meter: ...... off the fucking charts! For, what is today? Concert day!!! Marianas Trench, Faber Drive. Aw yeah. Less then 12 hours away. I’m going to upload those drawings to theO later today, maybe right when I get home... MAYBE. I emailed them to myself 2 nights ago, but I have been quite busy with tech and all that, which is going well. Although, I would like to mention one thing about last night. Tech chief was like “So... what’s with the hat thing?” Obviously, here’s me thinking “wtf?” And I told him it was my precious. He tried to trick me into taking it off, claiming I wore it due to a bad hair day. Yeah, right. Not a stupid ape, thanks for degrading my intelligence though. I frowned and walked away. Contest. The Linkin Park video goes up... tomorrow or Thursday. I’ll wait til I get back from Drama Fest before I give any results. Its an easy one, unlike this one.... but then again, I thought the MCR one was easy too. After that.... Frank laughing is back! Yeah. I know everyone’s excited. That’s enough out of me. WHY!

TIME: 7:50am, Monday WATCHING: "Sharks" (worst rap beats EVER) Nice days in a row: 4 Yeah! So, cue to cue's (rehearsals) went very well and very quick yesterday. I got bck home at 7:30pm. That's a miricle. We are doing two plays for Drama Fest. One sucks hardcore, and the other has cowboys in the modern world, so, its awesome and funny.... and random. Vancouver must win tonight. Its game 7 of their series. All or nothing. They let Dallas come back, which isn't good. We'll see... Marianas Trench TOMORROW! Faber Drive, 16th Avenue, aw yeah. That's all I can think about to write. Oh, for those who care, MCR's "Teenagers" radio single won't be released until April 30th or May 1st. You must know why if you care. Anyway, later CoDy

Word on the street

TIME: 10:14am, Sunday WATCHING: "Give it to Me" - Timbaland I need a new ipod now. I have to uncheck songs before I sync new ones. Yeah. So, bigger is must get. Yesterday turned into panic mode very quickly when I got to work. I had no idea if I was doing tech or work, cause no onesaid anything to me, and the schedule wasn't changed. Well, to sum it up, the manager came in, and I asked him, and I'm all good. So, um.... good? I was thinking about phone calls. Do you like getting them? I certinely don't. Why? Cause no one ever calls me just to talk. When I get a phone call, someone always wants something from me: - can you work? - will you buy this? - do a hockey game? - come here and do this? So, I dread when the phone rings and they ask for me. Sucks. So, the CONTEST! I'm ganna give you all a huge clue, cause you're not playing, and that's no fun. Okay, second half of the video, singers hands. There. Don't worry, I dislike watching the video too. The winner gets a cookie of their choice. After this, I have a sweet Linkin Park contest. Give up the Grudge

TIME: 11:37am, Saturday LISTENING: "Give up the Grudge" - GOB Warmest day of the year was yesterday. So, about tech. This event has gone around and come back to “fuck me” level. Here’s the low down. Tech chief comes to see me yesterday morning, and he said “I need you”. That was it. I told him tough luck, and he’s like “No no, they have your room booked, William is off to play rugby, and I need you to do drama fest”. So, I refused, because of work, and then he went and called my boss and told him to give me Sunday and Monday off because he was MAKING me do drama fest. I told him the boss would murder me for that, but he denies this. So, I’m back to doing drama fest, cause the guy I had to replace me bagged out and went to rugby fest all weekend. When I go to work tomorrow, I expect death. See, I was worried about the tech chiefs bloodlust, now its that of my boss having to find two last minute replacements. I’d rather go to work.... New video competition is up in my intro. This is Billy Talents new video, “Surrender”. There are two things you should notice about this video, and they are both related. That’s the only clue for now. Lets see if anyone can get this, considering no one got the “Famous Last Words” mystery. I have more video guessing fun after this one. Oh, so, I went and checked out some music from the bands playing with Marianas Trench Tuesday, Faber Drive, who I had heard one song from, and 16th Avenue, a local band. Both own. Faber Drive is insanely amazing. They are ganna be a fucking huge rock band. Look em up on myspace. After that, I by accident discovered another West coast Canadian band that is insane, Social Code. Man, what a booming music scene. I suggest.... “Bomb Hands”. Amazing song. Nice days in a row: 2 Later CoDy

TGIF

TIME: 7:51am, Friday WATCHING: Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne Currently in the intro is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. Not ganna say what it is, but you have to see it. I cried cause I laughed so hard at it. “30 is the new 20" “For trees” Holy fucking funny.... I’m crying thinking about it. Work was a drag last night, considering I sliced my thumb open with a jagged knife. Not fun, not cool, and not feeling great about it. It hurts only when I think of it. I just realised I forgot to clean the knife after that..... hmmm.... to busy stopping my BLEEDING. Math midterm was a fucking cake walk. I cannot believe how insanely simple that was. Chemistry test today. More cake walking. I’m doing a lot of that lately. So yesterday, I told the tech chief I couldn’t do Drama Fest. He was P-I-S-S-E-D. See, to him, he could give me the schedule for working on lights anytime, and that would be perfectly alright. Idiot. Its called a job, and I have one, and he should know life doesn’t work that way. Anyway, he didn’t give me enough notice to take time off, so I had to bag out. I set someone up to replace me, and told him at noon yesterday, and he’s just like “That’s not the point, the point is that you should take the time off to do it, or tell me earlier”. Now, to me, I did him a favour by GETTING someone else ready to do the job! But no. He has bloodlust in his eyes for me, so, I’m out to avoid him til Tuesday, when I’ll be in the clear and past the point of no return. 4 days and I’ll be watching Marianas Trench, Faber Drive and 16th Avenue. Stoked level is climbing daily. Oh, and incase you are blind, I changed the background. That video has me going, that’s why. Shitty days in a row: ITS SUNNY! Vancouver lost, 0-1 in OT. Later CoDy

TIME: 7:50am, Thursday WATCHING: I Don't Love You - My Chemical Romance Yesterday was an excitement/shock overload. Loved it. Check it. So, I picked up my Marianas Trench tickets. My stoked level is so fucking high for that show that I can’t think, sleep, or concentrate for more then 10 minutes. I was listening to the cd all night. Evanesence was BLIND SIDED in the MTV Battle of the Videos. I have been watching the voting between Linkin Park, Evanesence, and Lil Mama all week. Eva had been kicking ass the whole time, then I got an email this morning from LP.com saying LP won the battle! Eva had like, 56% the night before, and then LP won with 55% or something along those lines. I sat in my chair saying “The fuck...” for 5 minutes. Not that it’s a bad thing, it was just... whoa. I realized the new Daughtry video was in existence. My friend was excited about this. Really good video and song. My dad got back from Toronto. He got an uber bad computer virus. Makes me laugh. Also, not related to that, but I watched the Kaiser Chiefs on MOD last night, and I had hated them, for making sucky music, but MAN were they hilarious! They have great personalities. I think it was the drummer who said he had MCR’s faces tattooed on his back. Whether that was a joke or not is yet to be determined. Also on the MCR topic, the “Teenagers” single is on their site. So, previous speculation that they might not release it do to the recent shooting at VT is squashed. Monday is the radio single, and hopefully the video is the same day or shortly after. Very excited for it. What else.... oh, I updated to the latest itunes version, and right afterwards, itunes went schizo. It wasn’t recognizing it, or my ipod, or my updates of songs. I restarted the comp, still wouldn’t recognize even the program! Scared me til I manually opened it, and I was pleased that everything was intact and healthy. Marianas Trench flooded the ipod.... she’s loaded with punk/rock awesomeness! I think that’s enough out of me. Shitty days in a row: 4 Math midterm today. Boo. LaTeR CoDy
