Spike TV is so stupid. What a retarded channel that is. I only have it because it came in my music bundle, and the only reason it isn’t blocked is because Afro Samurai is on it. Why is it so stupid? The programming is beyond lame, and there is ONE chance to catch Afro, and I missed it, or rather, forgot. The commercials on it at night are perverted too.
The inevitable happened yesterday, and that was my mom discovering three words: My Chemical Romance. Um, it happened when she asked me what I was drawing for the art project I went to get supplies for. So all last night, when I was around, and I said anything to do with music, she made fun of their name, which was stupid and annoying. She knows nothing about the music I listen to, besides Linkin Park, and she can’t talk either about strange names. For starters, she likes country, and we all know how original they are with names: they use their own! Second, she can’t even spell Linkin Park, which is sad. Third, she kept calling them “My Chemical Relationship” and comparing them to drugs. I told her before she went to bed they sounded a lot like Queen, to which she replied with a “cool” and walked away. Sometimes I have to wonder ya know..... tomorrow is operation “rot her brain with ‘The Black Parade’”. It includes putting an MCR cd in all her cd players. Should be fun.
I heard some of the new Fall Out Boy album recently. They are streaming it on various sites. Its not bad.... but any FOB fan will probably like the current album more. I know I do. Its bananas. The new one if mediocre, well, the songs that played anyway. For the record, I also listened to a bit of The Used on Fuse.
You know what I am sick of on the internet? A lot of things, yes, but mostly the strange support strangers give to each other on forums, and communities like this one. They give virtual “hugs” and baby talk each other with “it’ll be okay” and “glomps”. Not to mention they rally behind everything everyone say, no matter what its about. That annoys me. Stop it.
