TIME: 9:06am, Saturday
Thats an "ahhhh" of relief, that I am updating from MY laptop, in MY bedroom, and with my power on!
Yeah... funny thing there. I just woke up.. oh maybe half an hour ago, walk into the hall and ask why my power is off. I figured dad pulled the switch on my room because I wasn't going to help his friend move today. But no, all the pwer in my town was off! Hehe, I called. Lucky for me, I live on Main Street, so it was on at about 8:45. Didn't take long. But it was funny. We didn't have a big storm, maybe lightning or something *shrugs*
But speaking of storms, one wicked tropical storm wiped Nova Scotia in the ass! Halifax got the worst, but it was pissing rain when we were driving home, and there were ponds on the road. To top it off, when we made a gas and dinner stop, Irving ran out of gas... there were huge lineups waiting everywhere after that.
So.. things have been eventful. Like.... me being pissed because I didn't get home until 12am! Yeah! Thats 8 hours past what was told to me! I feel pleasent... no. Thats what an idiot would say. It poured rain from 3pm on yesterday, and dad and his friend fell way behind loading the moving truck, so we never left Nova Scotia until 5pm, crossing the border at about 8pm. Thats freaking late! I was less then pleased, but I atched Fast and the Furious, so hehe.
Anyway, this is a huge post... yeah. I was just telling about the adventures of driving... and power. lol. Brief trip summuarytomorrow then, visits today, peace people! |
