....O_o
School, I mean. Almost over. Tired of waking up early. Tired of going to bed early. Tired of being bored. Tired of exams. Wanting to burn books and/or people.
Oh yes, and I also changed my style again to one similar to before. I can't decide! XD I just liked this one because it's clean and futuristic-looking.
XD
Please excuse Bio, he isn't feeling quite himself.
Ya know, when you talk in third person and the classroom flag begins to look more like a spear than anything else, that means something about both your mental stability and how long a human being can endure the mindless drone of-
*realizes he's writing poetry*
Oh hell. School needs to be let out. That's my point.

Finale
I get out of school on...
THURSDAY
It's been a pretty easy year, really. I've made a few new friends, one who is as sadistic as me. And that takes something.
Oh, and guess what? My Language Arts teacher is moving up to the eighth grade because our teacher for that class next year is apparently becoming a houswife. She's getting married to another teacher in the same school. That's kinda funny.
The end of the year also means final exams. I don't think they're going to be that hard at all, though. I have finals in Language Arts and Social Studies (which is open notebook XD) tomorrow, and possibly Spanish. I'm not sure about the others.
Oh, and if you hadn't noticed, (you're either blind or dense if you didn't) I modified the layout of the site a little bit. I thought the other one lacked, you know, a soul. It was just white and emotionless-looking. I also spontaneously posted the first part of the lyrics to my new favorite song. It's light-hearted yet cynical at the same time. Like me. ^^

A beautiful oblivion
The tick bite turned out to just be infected. Either way, it wasn't fun. I have to take a pill three times a day for ten days. After about three days, I can already tell it's working.
So that's cleared up, leaving one thing to deal with: school. There are only four and a half days left in the entire year, and I may go insane and do some serious damage to school property and people that I despise. They're just being stupid, but it still get's me annoyed. Not to mention the staff-- which I have mentioned. Most of the secondary people on the payroll (not teachers) are completely useless. People's stuff is getting stolen from their lockers, and I mean binders. I have no idea what kind of rabid spazz would do that, but it's the end of the year so it doesn't really matter anyway. I hope they get caught though, and I hope they're someone on my 'to kill' list. Maybe they'll get expelled. That would be nice. I doubt it though.
In other, less morbid news, I've convinced my computer to not be slow by sifting through my C Drive and deleting all that was useless or looked suspicious. I'm not sure it's all cleared up, but I don't care. As long as it works.
While I'm on the subject of computers, I'm going to mention that I want an eMAC. I want to 'convert' from PC to MAC. Why? I'm sick of Windows, and with Linux I'd only be able to use dial-up, which to me is basically not even an option. So I want an eMAC with MAC OS X, and all the little mac accessories that come with it.
Why am I sick of Windows? Viruses. Viruses, viruses, viruses, and spyware. Not to mention the annoying little technical flaws. Keep in mind I'm not bitching about this without actaully trying an MAC. My friend recently got one. This is why I like it:
1. less vulnerable to viruses.
2. much more attractive. Windows XP is no mach. Not to mention the hardware itself is pretty nice looking compared to my awkward box-thing with matching monitor.
3. speed. It's fast, and will basically stay that way because not much spyware is compatible with a MAC.
4. organization. Along with the layout, MAC OS X just seems so clean and simple, which is what I want.
Also, my school concert was last night. Let me put it this way: when the chorus sang, lightning flashed, a tidal wave hit New York City, and the Bubonic plague set out on another pandemic.
Band was okay, but I messed up in a few of the parts, which I can say with all humility was mostly because the guy next to me was messing up over and over again. I was kinda nervous too, though I had no reason to be.
Meh, average day. Not good, not bad. I crave an end to school so that I can watch [adult swim] almost every night to get my anime fix.

DAMMIT
Another small update. I just thought I'd share with you that there's a distinct possibility that I have lyme disease. I'm assuming you know what that is. If you don't it's this thing that ticks spread.
I'm going to the emergency room (which I think is slightly overreacting) right now to get checked out. Yay?
Okay, I'm done. |

Getting off my lazy ass
I always get myself in over my head. ^^; Though I suppose It's kinda stupid, I've taken a liking to Priston Tale. (completely free, downloadable MMORPG, which is obviously a major factor in me liking it) This isn't the reason it's stupid though.
I've been accepted to the Brave Fencer Musashi-based roleplay that PiroMunkie started, (which I am happy about) while at the same time playing a game. I know, I need a life, but this could have developed into a huge problem had I not remembered that it was probably starting soon. If I hadn't I might have completely forgotten for about a week, while Piro is drowning me with PMs and sticking little needles into a doll of me.
Needless to say it isn't a problem anymore, and I've just posted in the thread in the Adventure Arena, but I just thought I'd make you all aware of my utter stupidity. Short update, no rants. How sad.
This was the best I could do at 1:38 AM.
No, I'm lying. I'm not really that tired, I'm just really lazy (which is apparent from the info above) and don't have enough rantable (yes, I just made that up) Material. |

Hamlet
Massachusetts has a
Completely shit-faced
Assessment
System
Oh look, I made an acrostic poem. Yes, I believe this is the time for ranting. Subject:
MY LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER
Ever since the demerit system has been introduced, she's been having a field day. She stands at the doorway with her little clipboard, making every unsuspecting student that was walking too quickly feel her almighty wrath.
Today, when someone was walking back from lunch break, he apparently "kicked" someone else. I'm assuming he actually just tripped over the person. He told her that he didn't kick anyone, and that she could even ask the person she thought he had kicked. This was her response:
"Oh! No! That's five demerits now! That's defiance!"
HOW DARE HE DEFY HER WRATH!?
That's so messed up. "Defiance" is worth five demerits. Five demerits is an office detention. Apparently, defiance is also known as defending your case. That's the American justice system working for you right there. Although, I suppose she's implementing the omnipotent bitch amendment.
More statistics:
She always tries to start class with three people in the room, about three minutes before anyone's even supposed to be there. She then asks where everyone is.
Her voice is high-pitched an whiny. I know that isn't a big deal, and doesn't reflect her personality necessarily, but it's still a minor annoyance.
She thinks that we're stupid enough to believe her when she's trying to scare us into behaving. Example:
Someone erased part of the board, which could easily have been an accident. However, she said this:
"Well, that's too bad. Their fingerprints show up on those items, (marker, eraser, board) and I can send those down to the office to be checked."
There's so many things wrong with that.
1. A person doesn't need to use a marker to erase something.
2. Our school definitely doesn't have forensic equipment.
3. Our fingerprints are not on file.
4. You wouldn't be able to tell who had done the deed, even if by some stretch of the imagination the above were possible, because there would be too many fingerprints.
5. The fingerprints would be smudged, and they could have used their sleeve anyway.
6. You can't send an entire whiteboard to the office.
7. The office doesn't give a damn.
There you go. There are probably even more flaws that I haven't thought of.
I think this post has been long enough.

Pax Romana
Hm. Today was pretty fun, actually. I actually got a flag over the line in capture the flag, which we played in gym, which is rare because no one thinks I can run. Hah. It also helped that one of my friends threw himself in front of someone who was about to tag me. XD
Also, another one of my friends was trying to get into a well-guarded square where the flag was, and when he dove, the strangest and funny thing happened. He landed on his face, but somehow managed to bounce back up on his knees, until his jerked forward and sorta spasmed to the line. It was funny. I didn't actually see it, (I wasn't paying attention) but I was still amused.
I'm also happy because my solar project in science worked pretty well. In about seven minutes it was at 130 degrees even. (farenheit) It didn't help that some people where standing in the way of the sun at some points, but 140 degrees is an A, and we have about half an hour to keep it in the sun, so there ya go. Also, any degree over 140 is a bonus point, and this is a test grade, so a 200 on a test grade would be awesome.
It was just a fun day I guess. No homework due to MCAS, but still. MCAS. Dammit. I miss math though. I suppose it's a good thing.
Yea, okay. I think I'm done. I know I promised a rant about my LA teacher, but don't fear, it'll be in the near future.
Ah, I almost forgot. I'm currently planning an rp that;s set during the Black Death/Bubonic Plague, whatever. I won't finalize and post in the recruitment forum until I'm either done with or rejected from Kill Adam Volume 2. |

Hot Damn
Recently, there was a heat wave that passed through Massachusetts. This meant my computer threatening to overheat, resulting in me not really being able to use it. Yesterday, it was about 90 degrees. On Friday, it was 85, and it was about that temperature the entire week before that.
This made my pc pretty slow, and a virus that must have attached itself to a download decided it was time to screw around. Needless to say, I nearly took my computer away for the slaughter. The combination of malfunctioning keyboard and tons of popup ads, along with the shit-speed of an overheated computer was not fun. I had to do some major maitenance and think about converting to Linux, (which wouldn't happen unless I had enough money to buy all the new software, etc) until my computer complied. It seems fine now...
Tomorrow is school. Dammit, I'm ready for it to be over. I hate getting up at 6:00. ;_; There's only like 17 days left, and...
WE HAVE THE MCAS THIS WEEK
Yay? I already took the long composition segment in April, and that was fun as shit. However, I could have done that at the beginning of last year. We haven't really done anything in LA. I learned more about grammar and punctuation on the OB. XD
So this week I have to take the multiple choice and short response sections. Bleh. Oh well, at least I miss some classes because of it.
Oh, right. If you didn't know, the MCAS is a test that the School Board of Massachusetts forces public schools to take.
I'll probably rant about my Language Arts teacher in my next update. |

Pathetic Lament
-_- This post is from a few days ago, but mO spazzed out and I had to redo it.
Alright, I'm in the process of remodeling my mO, which will take a little more time than I had expected. I thank Godel for giving me the code for otakulife posts (note the faint greek writing). Okay, on to the ranting. First, the stuff that's more relevant to the OB.
I'm really looking forward to signing up for Kill Adam: Volume Two. I already have a few ideas to mold around the character frames that James is planning to give us. I'd been thinking about joining the rp once it's 'released' for a while now, but even more so after I read Kill Adam: Volume One completely. That is one long rp. I thought it would be short; it's only three pages long. However, James apparently kept his promise on quality, since each post is deep and long. It's like reading a really good book, and I almost enjoyed it as much as the movie itself (QA's character background is even more creative than O-Ren Ishii's). I just hope the character frames James is putting out are reletively flexible...
Here's the pointless rant:
Some of my school's teachers a pretty damned messed up. Due to the paycuts, (which I also ranted about in the thread on the OB) our school can't afford to fire even the most archaeic and senile of teachers. The flaw in that is as bright as day in the lunchroom. However, the major problem in that area is one bitchy lady that looks to be only about 30-40. However, her sense of judgement is tragically skewed.
Let me elaborate. My friends and I sit at a table near the 'jock' table that is really just the 'jackass' table. We were eating our lunch, if you'd like to call caféteria food that, when suddenly one of the senile, old staff members comes up to us and says that we need to wait after everyone else left, because he 'needed to have a word with us'. After he hobbled away, several "What the hell?"s where exchanged, but we didn't worry and continued to eat our compressed shit on a tray.
Soon after, the uber-bitch mentioned earlier runs up to us and yells: "You boys need to calm down." So more "What the hell?"s where exchanged after her departure, along with O_o faces. Meanwhile, the 'jackass' table next to us is ripping each other's eyes out, and screaming at the top of their lungs. The bitch was watching them, and smiled in a 'boys will be boys' way. I suspect brain damage. Oh yea, and the senile old man completely forgot about 'having a word with us'.
The point of the story:
Today, the jackasses at the table next to us were throwing their trash at us. I didn't give a damn. Either way, apparently one of the people at my table told a 'lunchroom monitor' *rolls eyes* about what they were doing for the sole purpose of getting them in trouble. She just told them to behave. O_o
They kept throwing things. She wasn't paying attention at all. She looks at our table suddenly, and sees a ball of paper fly from the jackass table to ours. Some asked her, "Did you see that?" she walks over to them, and tells them to knock it off, in the 'boys will be boys' manner once again, and comes to our table, and yells, "If you two don't stop fighting you'll all get demerits!" (the demerit system was intoduced about a month ago in order to persuade students to behave) She leaves. "What the fuck?!"s are exchanged. As we leave, once of my friends who almost went postal on these people several times is hit in the head with a paper ball. The bitch sees who has done it, and only tells the moron to stop. *pulls chainsaw chord*
An amusing thing to add, however, is that during computer 'class', (pointless, I assure you) one of my friends had been keeping a journal rather than drowning in his own boredom. There were a total of ten pages.
The first few pages consisted of a rant about FFXI. Other pages were completely random, including entries such as "It all must burn!", which I found exceedingly out of character, and therefore incredibly funny. He named the entire thing 'Pathetic Lament'. *points to topic*
