Ten games to play before you die
This week’s game is Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64. Just like our last game (Ocarina of time) Super Mario 64 was the first in the series to have 3D graphics and appeared on the scene in1996 and also made an appearance on the DS in 2004 in the US and 2005 in the UK.

Super Mario 64 is all about a plumber called Mario. He receives a letter from his girlfriend Princess Peach asking him to come to her castle in the Mushroom Kingdom but when he arrives at the castle Princess Peach is nowhere to be found and all her servants have been turned ghosts. The evil Bowser is behind it all, he kidnapped Peach, turned her servants into ghosts and stole the power stars and hid them inside the many paintings all over the castle, so now it is up to Mario to venture into the paintings and retrieve the power stars so he can defeat Bowser and restore peace to the kingdom.

Super Mario 64 is a game with a lot of good points (too many to mention) but very few faults which is rare in a game making this one of the best games ever made, so go download this great game on your Wii now!

   good week
this has got to be one of the best weeks I have had in a long time.
First I found a lottory ticket yesterday and it won me £10^¬^
plus I've almost completed all of my college work meaning that I might finish college about a month early
so overall this is a really good week.
All I need now is for my brother and sister to go on holiday to Jamaica a month early and this week will be perfect^¬^

Ten games to play before you die
Our next game on the list is the very popular Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The Zelda series made its Nintendo 64 debut in 1998 with Ocarina of Time which was the first 3D Zelda.

Ocarina of Time starts with the main character Link sleeping, in his dream it is a dark, stormy night. A castle drawbridge lowers, a figure on a white horse rides out into the fields and a man wearing dark armour atop a black horse rides out after them, he stops, and gives Link a menacing glare and with that Link awakens in his treehouse home, with the fairy Navi trying to wake him. Navi informs Link that the protector of the forest – The Great Deku Tree – has requested his presence. Once there, Link is told that a curse has been placed upon the Deku Tree and it is killing him. So he gives Link a magical jewel and tells Link that he is to leave the forest to retrieve the other two jewels that are like the one he gave him so that he can gain access to the Legendary Master Sword to defeat the evil sorcerer that had put the curse upon the Deku Tree, Gannondorf. Soon enough Link is given the great responsibility of being the Hero of Time so that he can vanquish the evil Gannondorf to prevent him from taking over the world and restore peace to the kingdom of Hyrule.

The best parts of the game are:
• the large areas that this game has for you to explore;
• the first time you get to become adult Link;
• the gripping story line;
• the range of weapons and items that you find on your journey; and
• the unique bosses you encounter.

The worst parts of the game are:
• some dungeons in the game are long and confusing; and
• Gannondorf is cheap the first time you fight him.

Ocarina of Time is a fun and exciting game that will have you coming back for more every time. If you have a Nintendo Wii you can look forward to purchasing this game from the Nintendo Wii shopping channel and there are two remakes on the Gamecube one of which comes with The Legend of Zelda; Wind Waker and even has an edited version with harder dungeon puzzles, so go out and get a copy now if you already haven’t.

Ten games to play before you die
The first game in my list of ten games to play before you die is Final Fantasy 7. This was the first FF game to come out on the Playstation in 1997 and has since spawned several games (Dirge of Cerberus on the PS2 and Before Crisis which is set to come out on the PSP) a film (Advent Children) and even an anime (which is based on the events of the game) with a possible remake of the original Playstation classic coming out on the PS3.

Final Fantasy 7 is an RPG that follows the story of an ex-SOLDIER member called Cloud who has become a mercenary and takes a job for a group of rebels called AVALANCHE who want his help to blow up the No.1 mako reactor which is one of many reactors (run by the tyrannical Shinra Company) that suck the life out of the planet. What Cloud thought would be a quick and easy job would soon turn into an epic battle that would determine the fate of the planet not just against the powerful Shinra Company but also against the legendary ex-SOLDIER Sephiroth.

Just like any game Final Fantasy 7 has good points and bad points. Some of the good points being:
• the vast amount of weapons, armor and magic that this game has to offer allowing you to customize your characters equipment with great detail;
• the range of strange and powerful enemies and bosses from the giant Midgar Zolem to the ever elusive Cactuar and the monstrously powerful WEAPON creatures;
• the rich a gripping storyline and;
• the characters all with their own personalities and interesting stories.

The bad points of the game are;
• sometimes you will find yourself running around for hours not knowing what to do;
• some bosses can be overkill or really cheap like the WEAPON’s or Materia Keeper, but worst of all is;
• when you get out of Midgar thinking that you have done a lot only to find out that you haven’t even scratched the surface yet (this is both a good and bad point).

Final Fantasy 7 is an epic RPG that spans three disks and even after 10 years many people consider this to be one of the best games of all time, so if you have yet to play this game, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS, GO OUT AND GET A COPY!! Final Fantasy 7 is available inmost good second-hand games stores or should be available on EBay.

Final Fantasy 3 came out today and I've just picked up my copy. If anyone has played the original please tell me what you think of it.

First post!!
After being a member with theotaku for over a year Im finnaly making a post^_^ but I forgot what I was going to talk about -_-' oh yea thats it! Im gonna start post messages on my site more often starting with a list of ten games to play before you die. This will be one game every week(or when I get a chance to make a post) and will be in a random order not best to worst or worst to best. at the moment Im not sure what games Ill add to the list or if Im accually gonna do it (or if Im gonna be able to do it due to all the coursework I've got to do at college) but even so Ill start makeing the list soon, so if all goes well the first one will be on friday. also if any one has a game that they think should be on the list contact me saying why it should be there(including all the best and worst parts of the game) with a description of the game and it's story and Ill do my best to post it on my site but Im not making any promisses.

Anyway I best get started on that list ^_^
