Ten Games To Play Before You Die
IT HAS RETURNED!!
After several months (that’s right, MONTHS) Ten Games To Play Before You Die is back.
This week’s game is Resident evil 4 on the Wii. This game was originally made for the Gamecube in 2004, a year later it was remade for PS2 with extra levels not available on the original and in July this year, Resident evil 4 was once again remade for the Nintendo Wii.
It’s been six years since ex-cop Leon S. Kennedy survived the horrific events in Raccoon City. Now he is a government agent working directly under the orders of the president of the United States. For his first mission, Leon is sent to a remote village somewhere in Europe to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter, Ashley. Before long, Leon discovers that a religious cult called the Los Elluminados is behind the kidnapping and intend to infect Ashley and the world with the parasitic Las Plagas. Its now up to Leon to not only save the president’s daughter but the whole world whilst trying to survive a nightmare far worse that the Raccoon City incident.
The best parts of the game are:
• the large selection of guns and the ability to upgrade them:
• extra levels that give more insight into the original story:
• an easy-to-use control system; and
• stunning graphics.
Unfortunately, some of the bosses in the game are a little bit too easy.
Resident evil 4 on the Wii is a horror game that will have even those of you who despise horror, playing for hours on end. Also, since the story of is not directly linked to the story of the first three Resident evil games, there is no need to play the first games to understand what is going on (though I would recommend you get the first three anyway). Whether a newbie to the series (like me) or a long time Resident evil survival expert who already has the game on another platform, Resident evil 4 on the Wii is one game everybody should have a copy of. Resident evil 4 on the Wii is available in most in game stores or should be available on ebay.
