I didn't spend that much time on the computer as I thought I would over the holidays. it's probably because I find lots of other stuff to do rather than what I normally do on a typical school day. However, I finally caught up on my sleep and i feel as hyper as ever!

New experience
Finally, a break from school! I really needed one. I don't think that I'll be spending very much time on the computer this week. I started working on a scene from a manga that I'm creating (i dunno, I just felt like drawing that day. i didn't think I was good enough to DO a manga) and it's turning out alright. Never drew that much in a single day before...

Thank You, Thank You, Mr. Internet!
For my upcoming piano recital, I'm going to play a piece from Princess Mononoke! I was originally going to play Minute Waltz, this really fast piece, but my teacher decided that it wouldn't be wise for me to play it because I can't even go through the whole piece. So, she picked these really simple short songs and I thought that it would be pretty embarrasing for me to play it for the big winter recital. So, I went on the internet *thank the internet* and found a nice Princess Mononoke sheet music! It's really pretty! for those who have seen it, it's the last song in the movie. I hope she lets me play it!

A slushie and a long LONG walk
I just got back home from school because today was early release day ! Instead of riding the bus home, my sister and I walked to Bubble Island to get slushies. We then walked back the other way to school (because we went the opposite direction of our house to Bubble Island) and wasted a lot of time trying to contact our dad to pick us up. Since we couln't reach him, we decided to walk back home anyways. It was such a good experience to walk because of all the scenery, exercise, and fun we got out of it! It was just like walking through the fields of Hyrule... Anyways, the experience would have been perfect if it wasn't for the fact that I had to go to the restroom real bad (well, the fact that the last time I was in the restroom was around 6 in the morning and I just finished drinking a big cup of strawberry slushie, who wouldn't?), I was wearing sandals (the straps at the back kept on slipping off my feet and I wasn't able to adjust it anymore) and my backpack was really heavy and I was carrying stuff in my arms! When we finally reached our house (which was around 45 minutes later) I weighed myself and found that everything I was carrying in my backpack and arms totalled to be 26 pounds! And to think I carried that for more than 45 minutes! Well, now I'm resting putting off my homewrk a little longer. And all of this my brother missed!
