For the love of all things sacred, do NOT see 40 Year Old Virgin...
Granted, it had a cute story and I could relate to the main character...A LOT. Thanks be to God I have my own car and I don't love my action figures that much (or have that many), but if I could find a sweet guy like the main character...All my troubles would be over, forget my age limit. Usually I only date people 25-30 but now I'm beginning to care less about that. If it's about love, it shouldn't matter. :D Anyway, do not see this movie if you value your entertainment "clean".
What I mean is this movie swears, and SWEARS a lot.
It reminded me of being back on college campus. Yeah, some people on campus were THAT bad. It had a cute story and it was funny but beyond that...It was a complete waste of time. DO NOT SEE IT. I also ended crying after it was over even though I laughed a lot. I do *NOT* want to end like that main character, Steve Carrell (talented man, I love him in The Office WAY more than this horrid film)...Many people in society think it's laughable for anyone to be pristine at my age, let alone any age... (sigh) Well, I'm done crying. Back to work.

What I Am Up To...
Firstly, looking for work is my main priority. I really want to be independent, but for that, one needs money. And earning money isn't possible right now since I am unemployed.
But I don't let that get me down. I just continue to read, write, draw, excersise and help where I am needed to maintain sanity. If I do things to help others, my problems are miniscule to say the least.
Be on the looky-loo for...
1) Art and Fan-Art (once we're able to get the daggone scanner fixed...
2) Snapshots from Afar
3) Groove Tonight
4) Crowded
5) Pool Sharks
6) Child of War, Child of Laughter
7) I Command It !
8) A Thin Line Between Stupidity and Comedy (still in progress)
9) Rare Occasion
10) Master of Deceit (TS: Undercover Fanfic)
11) Love Letter from the Past
12) Havoc Meets Eris, Goddes of Chaos (my first Billy & Mandy fanfic)
13) Framed, Literally !
14) Slings, Stitches, Casts and Caring
15) Slightly Off Kilt-er
16) Show Me the Mummy (Martin Mystery fanfic)
17) At the Midnight Hour
18) Sound of Drumming
19) Foreign Exchange Camper (Camp Lazlo fanfic)
20) Campers Worth Their Merit Badges (Camp Lazlo fanfic)
21) A Helping Hand
22) Sword for Hire
23) Cowabunga ! (TMNT fanfic)
24) Honor Among Murderers
25) Father Always Liked You Best
26) Two Steps Away From Crazy
27) Maniac the Nuisance (Teen Titans fanfic)
28) Secret of the Tanzenite Earrings
29) Where There's Smoke
30) How To Care for a Baby Dracogriff
31) Leif's Unidracogriff
32) Lost in the Void
I have also contacted my AlmaMater, with no response as of yet, but I will keep hounding them (LOL, our mascot/symbol is the grayhound), until I get a job there. It would be very beneficial and serendipitous for me to get work there because I could get my Masters. :)

Sometimes I Wonder...
Today started off well enough but Dad started saying things to me that weren't true. He said I am not logical, that I don't think things through and I will not help him unless he gives me a guilt trip. Maybe yes, in the past when the weather was hot, yeah...I wouldn't mow the grass for him, but today I would've gladly. All he had to do was ASK me NICELY.
But instead he treated me like someone who has no mind or cannot think for themselves. He knows damned well that I can think for myself and I have a mind, a brilliant one at that. Excuse my ego, but things like this really irk me.
I'm at the point where I feel like I don't even deserve to live anymore. I just...don't care. I doubt if anyone would miss me.

Smooth Jazz at Cocktail Hour
The rain falls down during a busy night
Car lights streak by passing each other
The lampposts seem dull and dim
In the dreary, damp evening
On the corner is a club
All sorts come there to drown their sorrows
Musicians play their melodies
Hoping to reach those melancholy individuals
That believe in nothing but suicide
In a dark alley somewhere
A homeless bluesman wails on his horn
A prayer to passersby
Misery loves company
Yet when they see his plight
And hear his sad story
They realize they aren’t so depressed
Music and Mardi Gras nights stopped
The songs still continue
Despite all the sorrow
Emotions are mixed
Different as the people who have them
Yet the music lives on
In spite of tears, distress and death
The jazz musician still writes and plays
It’s his universal language
One we can all interpret
Although sometimes matters get worse
They get better in time
Against all the odds and pessimism
The musician in all of us is unafraid
Keeping the song alive
Knowing a happier time will arrive
Beyond what many know as “Happy Hour”
Keep playin’ your song, cats
Don’t give up your jive
For so long as you got music in your soul
The song will keep you alive.

Playing in the Rainfall
An unusual August rain
After weeks of draught
Is a welcome sight to all
Birds of all sorts
Come to puddles of all sizes
They chirp and frolic
Bathing in the rainfall
Their euphoric conversation
Can be heard by all
Their communion in the water
Is a rare and beautiful sight
Most watchers fail to notice
Yet it delights the eye and ear
To watch the variety of native birds
To take in the fragrance of the rain
Savoring the simplicity of the moment
Knowing we can all learn from the birds
Even though it’s raining outdoors
It can be fun to play in the rain !

Back !
And I had a magnificent idea called "Ani-Merch" which would be marketed toward fellow Japanophiles. Unfortuantely, I think I am in the wrong area (the Midwest) to even have anyone REMOTELY interested in getting AniMerch off the ground. (sigh) It came to me in a dream...I could've sworn it was going to HELP ! Oh well. Stay on the lookout for my latest stories...artwork to come later when my Father's scanner is hooked up. :D

I can be found now @ FictionPress.com
So, if you are looking for my original stories and poetry (the most recent ones), be sure to read them if you are interested.
My Penname is TigerLily98.
I will also be helping a friend write a historical fiction love story about the WW II (Japanese occupying forces in the Phillipines). I recently saw The Great Raid and I wasn't aware that the Japanese had been so brutal. My father said the movie really took him back. He remembers all of the news reels that were shown in the movie theatres at that time, giving news on the soldiers and whether the Axis or the Allies were winning. It's fascinating stuff.
Also, I will be going back to my Alma Mater to see if I can get help in my search for employement.
It's been 2 years and I haven't gotten anything permanent. Something's gotta give.
