   A Grand Day Out
We stopped at a century old building called The Sherman House before making our initial stop at Cincinatti. This building was 100 years old and acted as a restaurant and inn for passers by. (It's archetecture was old Tudor style.) It was a tremendous place to stop by. After eating, we finally stopped at Cincy Museum. The Nicolas II & Alexandria exhibit was fascinating. There were many photographs, paintings, and other treasures (including some breathtaking Fabrige Eggs) to learn about and look at. It's incredible that the artifacts were so well preserved. Mother was able to get a small Fabrige egg and another beautifully decorated egg (both straight from the source, Russia). I got an Icon (Jesus teaching Children) as well as a lovely porcelain Russian doll ornament from mother. Everything was opulent and remarkable to observe (even to the tiniest detail). The most incredible piece was Alexandria's favorite treasure, Lily of the Valley. The flowers were made of pearls and diamonds the leaves were jade, the base was spun gold and the stems were also pure gold. After our educational adventure at Cincy Museum, we stopped at Edinburg to get more lotion and a couple of perfumes. Our final stop after Cracker Barrel was at the local Marathon because we had run out of gas. We made it just in time because we were completely empty ! We were extremely fortunate. Not certain what else I'll be looking forward to this week, but whatever it is, it should be interesting. :D
