   Prayers For London
July 7, an abysmal day for the English
How could something this awful occur ?
No one is certain but those who live carry on
Mourning for those who lost their lives
They will not be forgotten
Those who caused this will be caught
For no evil goes unpunished or unseen
I pray for my beloved friends in London
Those I don’t know, people I’ve never seen or met
God be with them all
May the pain and tears fade somehow
Replaced by feelings of hope
Though it is difficult
The light of hope still exists
Even in this terribly dark tie
Faith will sustain them, as it always has
For nothing is impossible with God
His mercy and judgment are absolute.
