Off We Go, Into the Wild Blue Yonder...
Once more into the breech, dear friends ! Once more ! :O Well, I just recently put in my application to a doctor's office and Rural King. To be honest, I want the former rather than the latter job but if I get an offer from Rural King I will take it. Not sure if I can reapply for Cook but I am a little leery of doing so, seeing as I was stabbed in the heart like that. I mean, how low can you get ? I put in a lot of effort just to get noticed and after all of that I still get a stinking rejection letter. Needless to say, I was a bit miffed but I am alright. It's old news.
Tomorrow, I am going to the hospital for mother's check up with the radiologist. Since it is so early, we are going to check out Chihuli's "Fireworks of Glass" over at the Children's Museum. It should be enjoyable. I will update you about that later. As for the rest of the week, I'm unsure as to what I will be doing, but for those of you who missed an incredible race this Sunday...These were the first three slots...
1. Sam Hornish Jr.
2. Dan Wheldon
3. Helio Castronevez (OLE !)
I was rooting for Helio. I really wanted to see him win but alas, he did not. I kept the girls in mind too. Sara Fisher, who had been away in stock car racing had returned to Indy cars and commented on how much more comfortable they were. YEA INDY CARS ! Ahem. Sorry for that burst of enthusiasm, but I'm quite a supporter/fan of Indy Car racing. As for Danicka, she was also involved. Both gals did well. I'd like to see either or get a championship someday. (That would ROCK !)
